Alexander Ovechkin is a Russian professional ice hockey player and captain of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League (NHL). He is considered one of the greatest Hockey Players of all time.
Born in Sverdlovsk, Russia, Datsyuk began his professional career with Russian team Traktor Chelyabinsk before making the jump to the NHL.
