– Lauren Holmes: Lauren is a three-year varsity player and the team’s leading scorer. She is an outstanding shooter and she has the ability to score from anywhere on the court. Lauren is also a great defender and she does a nice job of shutting down her opponents.
– Sarah Anderson: Sarah is a four-year varsity player and the team’s starting point guard She does an excellent job of running the offense and she always seems to make the right decision with the ball. Sarah is also a very good shooter and she has hit some Big Shots for the team over the years.
– Emma Collins: Emma is a three-year varsity player and one of the team’s top rebounders. She does a great job of using her body to box out her opponents and she always seems to come up with big rebounds when we need them most. Emma also has solid post moves and she scores quite a bit for us down low.

The High Point Academy girls basketball team is coached by head coach Karen Weatherspoon and assistant coaches Ashley Graham and Stephanie Smith. Coach Weatherspoon is in her first season as the Head Coach of the Lady Eagles. She has been coaching for 20 years, including 14 years as a Head coach at the collegiate level. Coach Weatherspoon has a proven track record of success, leading her teams to 3 conference championships and 5 NCAA tournament appearances. Coach Graham is in her 4th season as an Assistant Coach at High Point Academy. She was a Standout Player at High Point University where she was named to the All-Conference team 3 times. Coach Smith is in her 2nd season as an assistant coach at High Point Academy. She played Division I Basketball at UNC-Charlotte and has been coaching for 10 years.
