Match Number 1:  Dolph Ziggler (WWE IC Champ) Vs Seth Rollins for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

What a match, maybe even the best these two had.  Having Dean there added something more to this.  He countered Drew all the way through the match, but Drew sneaked his way to distract Seth, and caused some blood.  But Dean finally countered with Drew with Dirty Deeds.  Seth had his back, but nailed a Superkick before Ziggler did, and nails a Curb Stomp, to become the new Intercontinental Champion.

Winner, and NEW Intercontinental Champion:  Dolph Ziggler, by pinfall

Backstage Interview:  The Bella Twins

Renee interviews The Bella Twins, they are here to witness history tonight.  Renee brings up if they will compete at Evolution.  They are not here to talk about that, they are here to witness Ronda Rousey make history tonight.  They will watch that match in the front row.

Match Number 2:  The Bludgeon Brothers (SD Live Tag Champs) Vs New Day for the SD Live Tag Team Championship

The Bludgeon Brothers had enough of New Day.  Xavier hits a wicked elbow drop from the corner of the ring, all the way to the outside.  Big E was setting up Harper with a Big Ending, and Xavier set up Midnight Mile, Rowan nails Xavier with the hammer for the DQ loss.  They have the final say with retaining the Tag Team Titles.

Winners:  New Day, by DQ, Bludgeon Brothers retain Titles

Match Number 3:  Braun Strowman (MITB Winner) Vs Kevin Owens, with MITB Briefcase On The Line

This did not last long at all, Owens had one offensive move.  The moment came when Braun hits a Chokeslam on Owens right onto the ramp, and that head hit the ramp.  Then a Running Powerslam, match is done.

Winner, and STILL Mr. Monster in the Bank:  Braun Strowman, by pinfall

Match Number 4:  Carmella (SD Live Women’s Champ) Vs Charlotte Flair Vs Becky Lynch in a Triple Threat Match for SD Live Women’s Championship

Charlotte sneaks a win over Becky with Natural Selection, after Becky had set up Carmella with a DisarmHER.  All 3 had their moments to shine, including a Corkscrew Moonsault by Charlotte.  Now Charlotte is a 7-time Women’s Champion, tying Trish Stratus’s record reign.  After the match, Becky hugs Charlotte two times, then nails her from behind.  Years of frustration, Becky’s moment is gone.

Winner, and NEW SD Live Women’s Champion:  Charlotte Flair, by pinfall

Match Number 5:  AJ Styles (WWE Champ) Vs Samoa Joe, for the WWE Championship

What a match this was.  We see Wendy and their little girl in the crowd.  Joe introduces us to them, and makes it clear “Daddy” is coming home.  The match started slow, we even get a TNA chant, which is amazing.  But these two men turn this match into something special.  Joe kicks out of a Styles Clash.  He turns the Calf Crusher into a Koquina Clutch.  Joe even teases a Muscle Buster, but AJ gets out of that.  AJ is flipped over to the outside.  Joe gets on the mic, and says “Wendy, I promised you Daddy is coming home?  Well, I guess I lied, cause he’s not coming home.  But I can be your daddy now”.  Now this irate a bloody AJ Styles, and he uses a chair for the DQ loss.  Uses it over and over, and even nails his shoulder with the chair, almost hitting the head.  AJ walks over to his wife, he apologizes to his little girl, and they walk away.  Joe gets up, and screams his way to the back.  A fantastic match.

Winner:  Samoa Joe, by DQ, AJ Styles Retains WWE Title

September 16th:  Hell in a Cell

In-Ring Concert:  Elias

Hello, my name is Elias, and I have a question for everybody here tonight.  Who walks with Elias?  Now, it’s hard to believe, he was once a child, and now he wrote a song.  And once as a child, it’s an incredible feeling to know everyone loves you.  So he decided to show us a great song he put together, it may even be the best song yet.  And he thought what better place to perform this in front of the great audience of Brooklyn, New York.  Because he realizes that the great audience of New York is used to garbage, you deserve a great song here tonight.  So silence your cell phones, shut your mouth, and hold your applause.  You are about to be greeted by the greatest song yet.  And just then the guitar breaks in half in front of him.  Elias throws everything away.

Backstage Segment:  The Miztourage

They greet The Miz with the titles.  Daniel Bryan would have been successful if he had listened to his advice like they are.  They are here to wish The Miz luck.  How about for old times sake, they fetch his limo and celebrate his win over Daniel tonight.  No, actually, they are here to celebrate their win earlier tonight.  They are no longer The Miztourage, they are The B-Team, which stands for Daniel Bryan.  They tell Miz they can celebrate later tonight, saying they have a reality show idea too, called “Total Bellas”.  One more B-Team cheer.

Match Number 6:  Daniel Bryan vs The Miz

These two told another good story here.  Maryse was there for moral support, right?  Not exactly, when The Miz was struggling, he went right to her, and she handed him something to use on his hands, he decked Daniel, then took it right back to Maryse to hand it back off, and pins Daniel.  We saw The yes Lock, we saw punches, Figure Fours, but at the end of the day, Miz uses his brain, and shows the world he will always be better than Daniel.

Winner:  The Miz, by pinfall

Match Number 7:  The Demon King Vs Constable Corbin

Finn Balor’s alter ego hasn’t competed in a year, and The Demon took care of business.  Coup De Grace, match is done, and it was brilliant.

Winner:  The Demon King, by pinfall

Backstage Segment:  Daniel Bryan

Daniel is irate over what just happened, and he believes his return means nothing, after losing to The Miz in that way.  Brie, his wife, who all of a sudden shows up to support her man consoles him.

Match Number 8:  Shinsuke Nakamura (WWE US Champ) Vs Jeff Hardy, for the United States Championship

Jeff Hardy being Jeff Hardy cost himself the match.  He hit a Swantawn Bomb, but didn’t cover fast enough.  Hardy took his shirt off, went up again, but Shinsuke moved out of the ring.  And Hardy tried a Swantawn right off the top of the apron, Nakamura moved, brought back into the ring, nails a kick, then follows that with a Kinsasha for the retain.  Enter Randy Orton, who was looking to strike, he thought better of it, and leaves.  Hardy jumps back up, but he needs to settle himself down.

Winner, and STILL WWE United States Champion:  Shinsuke Nakamura

Before the Women’s Title match, Natalya shows up, and is wearing her dad’s ring jacket from Summerslam 1990.

Match Number 9:  Alexa Bliss (Raw Women’s Champ) Vs “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women’s Championship

I will say this, Ronda looks very comfortable in the squared circle.  This wasn’t even close, Ronda had some fun with the Champ, then slapped the Armbar, and I kid you not, it looked like Alexa’s arm bent in half.  Ronda becomes the first UFC and WWE Women’s Champion.  Natalya celebrates with Ronda, and is greeted by The Bella Twins.

Winner, and NEW Raw Women’s Champion:  “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey, by submission

Match Number 10:  Brock Lesnar (WWE Universal Champion) Vs Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship

Braun Strowman comes to the ring.  He says he is not a coward, and will cash this in after this match.  Good luck to Roman, and good luck to you Beastie Man.  He will stand outside the ring, and will watch this match, and to the winner, someone will get these hands.

Reigns started fast and furious, but Lesnar answered and controlled the pace.  Lesnar rammed Roman right onto Braun.  Then Lesnar took down Braun with a F-5.  Brock shoved Roman back into the ring, then flew the briefcase over to the side of the ramp.  Brock used a chair, on Roman, but Reigns escapes with a Spear, and pins Brock for the win, and is NEW WWE Universal Champion.  Sadly, no cash-in for Braun.  We end the show with Roman celebrating his win.

Winner, and NEW WWE Universal Champion:  Roman Reigns, by pinfall

Kevin’s Thoughts:

Roman finally picked up the big win he needed, over Brock Lesnar.  Sadly, no cash-in though.  Maybe that happens tomorrow?  A fun show here that gave us 4 title changes, including the 2 big titles.  IC Title was a classic, we had a very good WWE Title match.  Daniel Bryan Vs The Miz was entertaining, and should continue.  Rousey Vs Bliss was very short, but to the point.  And now we will have some future stories set up.  What were your thoughts of the show?  Sound off here.

Kevin Owens Vs Braun Strowman

Last Monday night, Braun took care of Jinder Mahal.  How can Kevin Owens find a way to get ready for Braun, tonight?

JBL talks about his 2004 Summerslam match with Taker.  JBL did whatever he could to survive, and he caused the DQ to keep his WWE Championship.  KO needs to do the same thing, and find any way to get that briefcase.

Video:  This Week in Brooklyn

Video:  Daniel Bryan Vs The Miz

This video is awesome, 8 years in the making.  Daniel Bryan Vs The Miz, who wins this one?  What would a loss to Daniel mean to The Miz?

Video:  Ronda Rousey Vs Alexa Bliss

Tonight could be the night for Rousey.  However, if Alexa wins tonight, no matter how she does it, could cement her WWE career, and can be the face of WWE for the women.

Backstage Segment:  Lana, Rusev, and Aidan

Aidan still wants to make it up to the both of them, and Rusev tells him tonight is about Rusev Day and Lana Day.  Stay behind.

WWE Summerslam Kick-Off Show Match Number 1:  Andrade “Cien” Almas and Zelina Vega Vs Rusev and Lana in a Mixed Tag Match

Half the match consisted of Rusev and Almas, other half gave us Lana and Zelina.  Lana even brought out a Spinarooni.  Finish gave us Andrade nailing Rusev over a barricade shot, then climbed up the top, Lana gave him a slap, and Zelina rolls up Lana, with holding the ropes and the win.

Winners:  Andrade “Cien” Almas and Zelina Vega, by pinfall

Jerry “The King” Lawler joins the panel

Backstage Interview:  Paul Heyman

Charly Caruso asks Heyman a ton of questions, and Heyman says Brock is ready to take down Roman Reigns, and put him down for good.  Brock is preparing for his UFC Heavyweight Title fight, Brock took “The Big Dog” out at Wrestlemania.  But he kept coming back for more.  Then Brock took him out in a cage, and Roman kept coming back for more.  But tonight, Brock will take him out for good, and his client will still be the defending, reigning undisputed WWE Universal Champion.  That is not a promise, it’s a spoiler.

Backstage Segment:  The General Managers

Paige, Kurt, and Drake all in the same room.  Constable Corbin shows up, wanting to make sure Kurt is on top of everything.  He asked him if he prepared Brock’s private locker room.  Kurt tells him he has everything done, make sure to cut Brock’s steak for him.

WWE Summerslam Kick-Off Show Match Number 2:  Cedrick Alexander (WWE Cruiserweight Champ) Vs Drew Gulak for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

This was a good match, and they allowed them time.  Cedrick retains his title after multiple roll-ups.  Cedrick even escaped from The Gu-Lock.  Cedrick continues as our Cruiserweight Champion.

Winner, and STILL Cruiserweight Champion:  Cedrick Alexander, by pinfall to retain Cruiserweight Title

JBL and Peter:

Discussing the Triple Threat SD Live Women’s Title match.  Who has the advantage?

Video:  AJ Styles Vs Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe joins the panel for a few words.  Is Joe concerned he took this a little too far?  Joe is very calculated man, AJ Styles is a wrath of guilt.  He has AJ Styles right where he wants him.  If his words don’t have an ounce of truth, why is AJ at a rage?  He has him mentally broken.  Joe is in AJ’s head.  AJ Styles is acting like a phenomenal victim, and Joe will take care of him.  AJ Styles needs to get this win for Wendy, or does he?  Will he get this win for himself, like Joe knows AJ can.  Joe respects AJ, and know he is a tremendous athlete.  He wins championships everywhere he goes, and Joe takes them away from him, like he will tonight.  AJ needs to know Joe is coming for his championship, either hand it over, or let Joe rip it away from his body.  All he can say is have a pillow backstage, because he is about to put him to sleep.

JBL and Rosenberg:

These two have a history together, and we finally get to see this match.  AJ broke JBL’s record as WWE Champion on Smackdown Live.  JBL says AJ is the “Shawn Michaels” of this generation, and he will find a way to win, tonight.

WWE Summerslam Kick-Off Show Match Number 3:  The B-Team (Raw Tag Champs) Vs The Revival for the Raw Tag Team Championship

The B-Team escapes with another victory here.  After taking out Curtis before the match begins with a Shatter Machine, Curt came back, and pins Scott Dawson, with a little help from his partner accidentally, pushes his partner, and Curtis picks up the win.

Winners, and STILL Raw Tag Champs:  The B-Team, by pinfall

Backstage Interview:  Alexa Bliss

Charly wants an interview, and Alexa is not in the mood to talk, focused and ready for the challenge.

Video:  Brock Lesnar Vs Roman Reigns

Can Reigns dethrone “The Beast”?  Brock could be overlooking Roman tonight, and that moment is where Roman can take advantage.
