In-Ring Promo:  Kurt Angle

Kurt wants to thank every Raw superstar to compete at last night at Extreme Rules.  Your effort showed dedication.  Speaking of effort, there is one superstar who has shown little effort as a WWE Superstar, we have the Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar.  He gave Brock 24 hours to either show up on Raw tonight, come to an agreement to his next title defense, or be stripped of the Universal Championship.  He has not heard from any of his representatives, so he therefore will strip Brock of the title right now.

Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman….

Kurt said they know who he is.  He doesn’t want to hear from Heyman, he wants to hear from Brock.  Then, allow Paul to say this….The reigning, undefeated, and defending WWE Universal Champion is…..NOT HERE!!  Kurt has no choice but to strip Brock…..WAIT A SECOND!!

With all due respect, he understands how Kurt and the WWE Universe feels about this, and how you feel Brock does not care about WWE, but he loves working for WWE.  If you do this, you deny the way Brock feels about working for WWE.  His ultimate goal is to fight for the UFC Heavyweight Championship, representing WWE, with the WWE Universal Championship around his waist.  Just like Kurt would try to go after all the WWE Titles in his prime, wearing his Olympic Gold Medals.  Kurt is good with that, but he must defend the WWE Universal Championship at Summerslam, or he will be stripped the title NOW.  Heyman has no other choice but to accept it.  So the fans wanted more Brock Lesnar, and we will get more of Brock Lesnar.  So Kurt, which one of these victims will be victimized, and conquered by….

Bobby Lashley comes to the ring.

When he came back to WWE, he had 2 gals in mind.  He accomplished one by defeating Roman Reigns last night at Extreme Rules.  Now it’s time to accomplish the other, and that is to beat Brock Lesnar, and win the Universal Title.

Here comes Drew McIntyre

Why exactly did you think Drew came back to WWE?  You think he came back for roster numbers?  Or to stay behind Dolph Ziggler’s corner?  He came back to assure Ziggler stays Intercontinental Champion.  That was Phase One.  Now it’s time for Phase 2.  The Universal Championship.

Here comes Seth Rollins, which means Reigns isn’t far behind.

Seth goes face to face with Drew.  Kurt, if you’re looking for an opponent for Brock Lesnar, I am right here.

Hello, I am Elias.  And he has one question for everybody here tonight…WHO WANTS TO WALK WITH ELIAS?  Niw there is a lot of noise going on in this ring.  Nothing sounds nicer than Universal Champion, Elias.  Next week on July 23rd, his debut record drops.  So he sees nothing more than to ride that Elias train, and have him face Lesnar at Summerslam.

Here comes Finn Balor

He hears everyone tell us what makes sense, so he asks Elias who was the very first Universal Champion?  So he thinks it only makes sense to have Finn Balor face Brock Lesnar.

And on cue, here comes Roman Reigns.

Roman doesn’t have any excuses, and he doesn’t damn sure care about Brock Lesnar.  He just wants to fight someone tonight.

Kurt will give us two Triple Threat matches, the two winners will face each other one on one next week, for the right to face Lesnar.  The first Triple Threat match will be Elias Vs Seth Rollins Vs Bobby Lashley.  The other one is Finn Balor Vs Drew McIntyre Vs Roman Reigns.  And that first match is now.

Backstage Segment:  Kurt and Corbin

Corbin asks Kurt what does he think he is doing?  2 Triple Threat matches, does he think Stephanie would like that?  Kurt doesn’t care, and Corbin wants to know why he didn’t think of including Balor?  Finn beat him last night.

Match Number 1:  Finn Balor Vs Drew McIntyre Vs Roman Reigns in a Triple Threat Match

Roman Reigns picks up the win, nailing a Superman Punch on McIntyre, and nailing a Spear on Balor to pin him.  It does nothing for any of the other two competitors here to lose to Roman, again.  But there you go.  Next week, Roman heads to Raw with a chance to face Brock at Summerslam.

Winner, and Heading To Next Week’s Raw:  Roman Reigns, by pinfall

Backstage Segment:  Bayley and Kurt Angle

There is no Sasha, so Bayley tells Kurt it isn’t going to work out.  Kurt disagrees, and says tonight they will team up to face Alicia Fox and Dana Brooke.  Bayley says this won’t work out, and Kurt tells her it needs to, or else he will need to trade one of them to Smackdown.

Next:  Dolph Ziggler

In-Ring Promo:  Dolph Ziggler

Ziggler did what he said he was going to do at Extreme Rules.  Look out Robert Downey Jr, he is more of a Black Sabbath fan, because he is IRONMAN.  And still your Intercontinental Champion.  Last night, the IC main evented a PPV for the first time in 17 years, and it wasn’t because of Seth Rollins.  Now he always gives credit to where it is due.  Seth Rollins, Ziggler respects everything he has done to the IC Title, but he is no Dolph Ziggler.  Rollins, Ziggler beat him 5 times.

Bobby Roode interrupts Ziggler.  He hasn’t heard him give any credit to Drew McIntyre, because let’s face it, if it wasn’t for Drew, Ziggler wouldn’t be the IC Champ right now.  If it wasn’t for McIntyre, Ziggler would be at the Comedy Store, telling bad jokes.  Dolph asks Roode how it felt watching Ziggler main event a PPV, while Roode was sitting on the sidelines.  Bobby said it sucked, which is why he is out here now.  Roode wants a match for the Intercontinental Championship right now.  Ziggler said he can have a match, the ref comes over, and says this is for the title.  Ziggler corrects them, and says they can have a match, but this is not for the IC Title.

Match Number 2:  Dolph Ziggler (WWE IC Champ) Vs Bobby Roode in a non-title match

This was a good match here that had Roode kicking out of a Zig Zag, but when he tried to jump over Dolph, he landed wrong on his leg, and this allowed Ziggler to give him a Superkick for the win.

Winner:  Dolph Ziggler, by pinfall

Earlier Tonight:  Kurt Angle and Paul Heyman

Earlier Tonight:  Triple Threat Match

Tonight:  Triple Threat Match

Backstage Interview:  Bobby Lashley

The say The Beast fears no man, I say The Beats has fought no man like me.  He has the skills to fight The Beast at Summerslam.  He will become the Universal Champion at Summerslam.

Backstage Segment:  Bobby Roode and Mojo Rawley

Mojo is calling out Roode for losing.  Wait a second there.

Match Number 3:  Mojo Rawley Vs Tyler Breeze

Rawley dominates, winning with his Lights Out Punch, and nails an Alabama Slam.

Winner:  Mojo Rawley, by pinfall

Next:  Sasha and Bayley Vs Brooke and Fox

Match Number 4:  Sasha Banks and Bayley Vs Dana Brooke and Alicia Fox

This is a nothing match when Sasha fights Alicia and Dana after they gained up on Bayley, but Bayley doesn’t answer the 10 count, and Sasha is pissed, and walks out.  Such a waste of time.

Winners:  Dana Brooke and Alicia Fox, by countout

Tonight:  Triple Threat Match

Tonight:  Steel Cage Plummet

Backstage Segment:  Sasha Banks and Bayley

Sasha tells Bayley she can beat Bayley, but she would be damned if anyone else does.  Sasha loves Bayley, she always has, and always will.

Video:  Steel Cage Pummel

Backstage Interview:  Braun Strowman

Renee asks Braun if he regrets over what happened last night?  Braun said he regrets he didn’t congratulate him on his win last night.  Renee asked why he didn’t partake in the Triple Threat matches?  Because Braun has the briefcase, and this gives him a Universal Title shot anytime, anywhere.

Kevin Owens will get more tests done later in the week.

Match Number 5:  The B-Team (Raw Tag Team Champs) Vs The Ascension in a non-title match

They pick up the win with their Swinging Neckbreaker, picking up the win.  After the match Deleter of Worlds shows up on the screen, calling their win a fluke.  Next week, they will get that rematch clause.  And they will be DELETED!!

Winners:  The B-team, by pinfall

Video:  Alexa Bliss Vs Nia Jax

Next:  Alexa Bliss

In-Ring Promo:  Alexa Bliss

Alexa leaves Extreme Rules still our Raw Women’s Champion.  She defeated that big fire-breathing Nia Jax.  Alexa uses her brain, and beating Nia wasn’t that difficult.  And now she can say she has beaten every single woman in the locker room.  The Ronda Rousey chants take place, and that doesn’t count.  She is suspended, and was a fan last night, when she did nothing wrong.

Ronda shows up through the crowd, takes out Mickie James, and goes right after Alexa.  Kurt chimes in, telling Ronda she will have to be suspended another week.  Constable Corbin tells Kurt he is being too light on this punishment.  Threatens to call Stephanie.  Corbin lost his phone.  Kurt stole it, but tells Ronda she will be suspended until Summerslam, where she will get a Raw Women’s Title match against Alexa Bliss.  But if she puts her hand on Alexis again, she will not get that title match.

Earlier Tonight:  Heyman and Angle

Earlier Tonight:  Triple Threat Match

Backstage Interview:  Seth Rollins

Seth lost last night, but his mind-set is for tonight.  He will get that chance to face his good friend Roman Reigns.  He knows Roman will do anything, but so would Seth.

Tonight:  Triple Threat Match

Match Number 6:  Authors of Pain Vs Titus Worldwide

The Last Chapter, AOP continues to dominate.

Winners:  Authors of Pain, by pinfall

Next:  Ember Moon Vs Sarah Logan

Match Number 7:  Ember Moon Vs Sarah Logan

With the help of Liv Morgan, Sarah picks up the win, holding on to Ember’s tights.

Winner:  Sarah Logan, by pinfall

Next:  Elias

In-Ring Concert:  Elias

Hello, I am Elias, I am sorry I lost my train of thought, and realized I was in Buffalo, and got depressed.  Because there is nothing to do in Buffalo.  Now people ask Elias what is the debut record going to be called, and there is only one universal truth, and that is WWE stands for We Want Elias.  So Elias needs us to shut our mouths, hold our applause, because he is doing this song for himself.  He sings a song about Lashley and Seth Rollins.

Match Number 8:  Seth Rollins Vs Elias Vs Bobby Lashley in a Triple Threat Match

Bobby Lashley picks up the win with a spear, pinning Elias, after Elias shoves Rollins out of the ring.  Next week, it will be Reigns Vs Lashley II to see who faces Brock, at Summerslam.  We end the show here.

Winner, and faces Roman Reigns Next Week:  Bobby Lashley, by pinfall

Kevin’s Thoughts:

It was predictable, but I did like both Triple Threat matches, to determine who will face Brock at Summerslam.  Now that it will be Reigns Vs Lashley next week, I am predicting Brock will show up, destroy both men, and we get a Triple Threat match at Summerslam.

This was a good show tonight, setting the stage for Summerslam, loved the Ronda and Alexa segment.  But the Constable Baron Corbin and Kurt Angle thing has to stop.  I am getting bored with this.  Need to see Stephanie show up to set things up for Summerslam.  Will it be Kurt Vs Corbin?  Job is on the line?  It seems that Mojo Rawley is getting a push, and we will be seeing The B-Team vs Deleter of Worlds next week.  What happens there?  Where do we go with Sasha and Bayley?  Braun is still in the distance, waiting to cash in on a title shot.  Does that happen at the “Biggest Event of the Summer”?  We find out in the coming weeks.  What were your thoughts on the show?  Sound off here.
