Backstage Promo:  Paige

Paige tells us many things happened at Money in the Bank.  Such as Daniel Bryan getting a big win from Big Cass.  Carmella found a way to win over Asuka, and AJ Styles was the “Last Man Standing” in defeating Shinsuke Nakamura for the WWE Championship.  But that was Sunday night, we are 4 weeks away from our next PPV, Extreme Rules.  There is a 5-man Gauntlet match tonight to determine who faces AJ Styles at Extreme Rules.  The competitors are Big E, The Miz, Samoa Joe, Rusev, and Daniel Bryan

In-Ring Promo:  Carmella

Carmella is going to be real with us, there was a time where she was not confident in herself.  But she didn’t sit back, she became the author of her life, and she saw something beautiful in her life, before anyone could.  Then Carmella became a champion.  She wants the girls to look in the mirrors, and repeat these words….Mella Is Money!!  Psyche, she always had confidence in herself.  She was moonwalk at the age of 3, and people need to give up.  I don’t know if you know this or not, but she beat Charlotte Flair twice.  And this Sunday, she beat Asuka, and she did that by herself.  She made “The Empress of Tomorrow” bow down to the “Princess of Staten Island”

We hear Asuka’s music, but it’s James Ellsworth.

No one was ready for Ellsworth.  Especially Asuka.  James has very special to say to his princess.  When you love someone, let them leave, he doesn’t know the rest of the words, but this is important….James is back!!  And he is ready to serve his princess.  Carmella is better than everyone.  She is better than Charlotte Flair.  She is better than Lita.  She is better than Trish Stratus.  She is better than Mother Theresa.  She is better than Beyonce.

But least important, she is better than Asuka.

Here comes Asuka, she kicks Ellsworth, and Mella gives Asuka a kick, and runs off.

Tonight:  Gallows and Anderson Vs The Bludgeon Brothers

Next:  Becky Lynch Vs Billie Kay

Match Number 1:  Becky Lynch Vs Billie Kay

Peyton tried to help her friend, but Becky was on fire tonight, and nails a Dis-Arm-Her for the submission win.

Winner:  Becky Lynch, by submission

Last Week:  Hardy Vs Shinsuke

Backstage Promo:  Jeff Hardy

Last Sunday, Shinsuke didn’t answer the count of 10, and AJ Styles moved on.  But Hardy has a memory that won’t move on, last week, Nakamura’s knee went straight to his head.  His eyes were closed before, now they are open.  Shinsuke, I see you.

Tonight:  Number 1 Contender 5-Man Gauntlet Match

Tonight:  The Debut of SAnitY

Backstage Segment:  SAnitY

The chaos has arrived!!

Next:  SAnitY Vs The Usos

Backstage Promo:  Daniel Bryan

Renee Young has Daniel, congratulating him over a victory with Big Cas at Money in the Bank.  But now there will be a Gauntlet Match, Daniel drew number 1.  How is he going to survive?  Daniel isn’t going to survive, he is going to win.  Even if it means facing 3 of the best SD Live superstars.  Big E, Rusev, and Samoa Joe.  What about The Miz?  Daniel said the 3 best superstars.  And he will do this by legs, strength, and heart.  He lasted the longest in The Greatest Royal Rumble, and he will find a way to outlast, and win, so he can face AJ Styles.  Now Renee, you think he can do this?  She said yes, and he loves to hear that work.

In-Ring Promo:  The Usos

The crowd loves The Usos.  It looks like we have a new tag team on SD Live, and they want to make a name for themselves.  Hey Use, you remember when they wanted to make a name for themselves?  All of that paint.  It takes more paint to become superstars in WWE.  They did that.  You have to have a heart to fight.  They did that.  You have to have a screw loose in the head.  They did that.  Hey SAnitY, come on out here, and welcome to The Uso Penitentiary.

Here comes SAnitY, and the fight is on.  Killian Daine, Eric Young, and Alexander Wolfe are on SD Live.  The fight starts.  SAnitY takes down The Usos, the match never takes place.

Backstage Segment:  Gallows and Anderson

They are ready for their match.

October 9th WWE2K19:  AJ Styles is the cover boy

Video:  AJ Styles Vs Shinsuke Nakamura

Backstage Interview:  Shinsuke Nakamura

Renee Young is with Shinsuke, he asks what is a loss?  How did he lose?  He’s standing right in front of you.  The only reason AJ is still WWE Champion is the ref counted too fast.  What are his comments about Jeff Hardy.  Who?  If Jeff crosses Shinsuke again, he will close Jeff’s eyes.

Match Number 2:  The Bludgeon Brothers (SD Live Tag Champs) Vs Gallows and Anderson for the SD Live Tag Team Championship

The Bludgeon Brothers keep their titles, pinning Karl Anderson.  Daniel Bryan comes out, getting ready for his Gauntlet Match, and run right into The Bludgeon Brothers.

Winners, and STILL SD Live Tag Team Champions:  The Bludgeon Brothers, by pinfall

Next:  Gauntlet Match

Gauntlet Match Number 1:  Daniel Bryan Vs Big E

A very good match kicking off the Gauntlet Match.  Back and forth match ends when Daniel hits his spear, and pins Big E.

Gauntlet Match Number 2:  Daniel Bryan Vs Samoa Joe

This will be a great feud some day, but for now, we get a free match on TV.  Daniel wins a grueling match with a Coutout, and The Bludgeon Brothers come right out, and give Daniel their double team Powerbomb.

Winner:  Daniel Bryan, by countout

Gauntlet Match Number 3:  Daniel Bryan vs The Miz

Ever the opportunist, Miz runs right out, nails Skull Crushing Finale on a beat-up Daniel Bryan, and pins him.

Winner:  The Miz, by pinfall

Gauntlet Match Number 4:  The Miz Vs Rusev

The Miz mocks Daniel Bryan, and this ignites Rusev to nail the Machka Kick, and the Accolade, to win the Gauntlet Match, and at Extreme Rules, it will be AJ Styles Vs Rusev for the WWE Championship.

Winner, and NEW Number One Contender to WWE Championship:  Rusev, by submission

AJ Styles comes out to face Rusev, he sets the WWE Title, then shakes Rusev’s hand.  Aidan English mouths off, and AJ decks him to end the show.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

I thought this was a good show, far better than Raw this week.  Minimal AJ Styles though his presence was felt at the of the show.  I loved The Gauntlet matches too, all were done very well.  It makes me wonder what they are doing with Daniel and The Bludgeon brothers though.  I am guessing a tag team partner will team with Daniel, and they face The Brothers Bludgeon?  I would have loved to see The Miz win, but Rusev is a good choice too, and I am sure they will have a good match.  What were your thoughts on the show?  Send them to me here.
