In-Ring Promo: Kurt Angle
Kurt welcomes us to the show, he talks about Raw being on a roll lately, and tonight, nothing will change. In the house tonight, Ronda Rousey. We will have an official Raw Women’s Championship Contract Signing with Ronda and Nia Jax. Also a 4-Woman Qualifying match for Women’s Elimination Chamber.
Here comes the returning Stephanie McMahon.
Stephanie tells Kurt the situation with she, her husband, Ronda, and Kurt are all water under the bridge. Stephanie is a leader, and will always do what is best for business. She tapped out, and has forgiven everything. Kurt as a leader is here, but he can do better, and she wants to see that growth get better. Kurt can let his emotions get the best of him, so she will preside the Women’s Contract Signing. Kurt agrees with that decision, he can always use more guidance for his leadership. Stephanie tells him he has been a bit light on Roman Reigns, and that ends tonight. Here comes The Big Dog.
If you’re going to say something about Roman, say it to him. She doesn’t understand the tone in Roman’s voice. He was the Big Dog, the leader, but if he continues to let his Samoan temper get the best of him, then maybe he needs to find a new place to work. Roman tells her to respect him, because if she doesn’t, he will go to the back, and take it on all of her favorite superstars. Stephanie doesn’t have any favorite superstars, she is a leader. She manages multiple platforms, and he can’t even fathom what she does. She doesn’t play favorites, it’s beneath her. Okay let’s talk about Stephanie’s favorite revenue stream, Brock Lesnar. Steph tells him she has heard every word he has said, and took it all under advisement. Cut the corporate crap, just tell the truth, she doesn’t want Roman anywhere near the WWE Universal Championship, or Money in the Bank. You want to know the truth? You had a shot at Money in the Bank , and you lost. If you want to take that up with someone, you take it up with Jinder Mahal. I already did.
Enter Kevin Owens.
That you did Roman, and after he speared Jinder through that wall, Kevin stood up, and grabbed that brass ring, and won the qualifying match. And everyone knows that Kevin Owens winning the Money in the Bank Ladder Match is what it best for business. And Roman, it’s time you hear the truth about how everyone feels about you, but they aren’t man enough say it to your face, they don’t like you. But Kevin does, because nobody likes you. How about chanting Thank you Roman. That chant doesn’t work. But as much as he likes Roman, he disagrees that Stephanie McMahon does not play favorites. Look at the facts, he has ongoing feuds with her father and her brother. But that doesn’t matter, because Stephanie knows talent. He hangs his arm on her, and she does not like that. She does not play favorites, so she will do something for Roman, and well, she thinks the fans will like this too. It’s Reigns Vs Owens, right now.
Match Number 1: Roman Reigns Vs Kevin Owens
Reigns had Owens beat when he nailed a Spear on Kevin on the outside of the ring, and before he can put him back inside, Jinder Mahal shows up, and attacks on Roman. Jinder and Kevin fight back, but here comes Seth Rollins. Rollins cleans house, when we go to break.
Winner: Roman Reigns, by DQ
Match Number 2: Seth Rollins (IC Champ) and Roman Reigns Vs Jinder Mahal and Kevin Owens
This was a fun match here and Seth Rollins has been on a roll. That continues tonight, he and Roman pick up the win when Rollins nails a Curb Stomp, pinning Owens.
Winners: Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns, by pinfall
After the match, Jinder nails both Rollins and Reigns with chair shots, getting payback for Roman after last week.
Video: Bobby Lashley Interview
Next: Sami Zayn Interviews Bobby Lashley’s Sisters
Money in the Bank: Roman Reigns Vs Jinder Mahal
In-Ring Promo: Sami Zayn and Bobby Lashley’s 3 Sisters
We all saw that special interview with Renee Young from a weeks ago with Bobby Lashley. Which we now know wasn’t exactly accurate, and Sami will prove that tonight. So we have The Lashley Sisters, who are all 3 men, dressed in drag. Oh boy, this will be terrible.
Sami thanks them for being here, and he can totally see that Lashley resemblance. Cathy speaks first about what Bobby did. He picked on them, so she had to use this broom and swat him away. Frances has a mustache, and he, I mean she carried this helmet because Bobby kept whacking her in the head, so she saved all of her money, and bought this helmet and used it so he would never do that again. Jessica, why did she have that towel everywhere she went with her. Bobby would hurt her feeling, and make him, I mean her cry. A tissue was not enough, and at the end of the night, this thing was a sopping mess. We can see the real Bobby Lashley, right. So was this a lie that Bobby Lashley went to the camera, and said he loves her sisters. Bobby only loves himself. So what did his parents think of Bobby? They were ashamed of him, they sent him to reform school. What did the community think of little Bobby. He was a thief, he would steal candy, and anytime he was around, they called the cops on him. Bobby Lashley is a liar, he is a thief, he is a bully, he was a menace to society.
Here comes Bobby Lashley, seemed entertained by this. His sisters, look at them. He can’t believe Cathy is still single. And Jessica, she likes to get thrifty, Sami did great dressing her. And Frances, no other woman has this moustache. Sami is such a great friend for doing this. Maybe he would like for Sami to hit a Helluva Kick, and throw him out like he’s garbage. Because that is what his family thinks of him is garbage. Now that smile is gone, and he goes right after Sami. But Bobby’s “sisters” helps Sami attack him. But Bobby goes right after all of them. Sami runs away from Bobby, Dominator on Frances. He takes care of Cath by sending her/him through the ropes with the broom stick.
Last Week: Jax Vs Rousey
Tonight: Official Contract Signing To Raw Women’s Championship
Backstage Interview: Alexa Bliss
Renee has Alexa, reminding Alexa Ember pinned her in her Raw debut. Alexa does not want to talk about the past. Ember had the element of surprise, how could she prepare for her? But tonight, things will be different, and Ember Moon will see that first hand.
Match Number 3: Ember Moon Vs Alexa Bliss
Mickie James tried to help her friend out, but after the ref sent her out, Ember used the Eclipse to pick up the second victory in the last 2 matches between the two. These 2 will be a part of the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
Winner: Ember Moon, by pinfall
Backstage Segment: Stephanie McMahon, Braun, and Finn
Kurt was gracious enough to give Stephanie his office for the night. Balor and Braun want a rematch against Ziggler and McIntyre tonight. Stephanie offers up another suggestion, in the spirit of competition, how about we preview Money in the Bank, and give us Finn Balor Vs Braun Strowman. Braun crushes an apple with his bare hands, he loves competition.
Match Number 4: Baron Corbin Vs No Way Jose
Jose had some offense, but End of Days for Jose. Corbin is victorious.
Winner: Baron Corbin, by pinfall
Backstage Segment: Kurt Angle and Chad Gable
Kurt wanted to put Chad Gable in as Jinder’s replacement, but management had other ideas. Ziggler and McIntyre interrupt, poking fun at Kurt’s new “office”. Gable shares a few words, and Ziggler telling him he doesn’t just sit around and wait for a handout, and Gable asks who is sitting around, he wants to go right now. Kurt tells him the match is set later tonight.
Tonight: Braun Strowman Vs Finn Balor
Match Number 5: The B-Team vs Breezango
Fandango dances, and this causes a distraction for a moment, they win with their double team move. The B-Team continues their STREAK.
Winners: The B-Team, by pinfall
Next: Official Contract Signing Between Ronda Rousey Vs Nia jax
In-Ring Promo: Official Contract Signing.
Stephanie is in the ring, in 4 weeks, Niw Jax will be defending her Raw Women’s Championship against The Baddest Woman On The Planet, a former UFC Women’s Champion, “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey. She introduces both women.
Steph congratulates Nia on winning her Title at Wrestlemania, and she introduces Rousey. Ronda asks how Steph’s arm is feeling, it looks pretty well. Stepha asks Ronda how does it feel to leap-frog the entire women’s division. Nia didn’t challenge them, she challenged Ronda. Nia, why did she choose her? She feels she is doing it at her own expense. Ronda has never had a singles match, so Ronda is there for the taking. And we know too if Ronda loses, we know how she handles losses, she would run away, and Nia would be the Baddest Woman On The Planet. And now Ronda knows how strong Nia is, yet it took her 20 minutes to beat little Alexa Bliss. So how long would it take to beat Ronda? And how would Nia feel if Ronda went after the arm? No, Nia says the truth is she knows she can beat Ronda, and she ain’t getting near her arm. Ronda signs the contract moves the table. Ronda is happy the truth came out. But that is okay, they both shake hands and Ronda will take her title, and her arm. They have a stare down to end this segment.
Tonight: Finn Balor Vs Braun Strowman
Next: Chad Gable Vs Dolph Ziggler
Match Number 6: Chad Gable Vs Dolph Ziggler
Ziggler picked up the win with Sweet Chin Music, getting the win. After the match, McIntyre has some respect, but he nails a Klaymore on Gable.
Winner: Dolph Ziggler, by pinfall
Next: Women’s Money in the Bank Qualifying Match
Match Number 7: Sarah Logan, Liv Morgan, Dana Brooke, Vs Natalya in a Qualifying Match for Women’s Money in the Bank ladder Match
Natalya is going to Money in the Bank, pinning Sarah Logan with a Sharpshooter. She is interviewed by Charly, who asks about her chances at MITB. Nattie likes her chances, because she will have her friend, Ronda Rousey as her training partner. And they may need new names for us, Ronda could be the new Raw Women’s Champion, and they could call Nattie Miss Money in the Bank.
In-Ring Concert: Elias
Hello, my name is Elias, and I have one question for you, who walks with Elias? Everyone knows WWE stands for Walk With Elias!! So let’s see if you can with Elias. The crowd loves Elias, but he can;t say the same about this dump they call Albany, New York. Bobby Roode shows up.
Match Number 8: Elias Vs Bobby Roode
Bobby tweaked his knee a bit, and Elias nails Drift Away. Braun Strowman comes out, and pounces Elias, breaking his giutar. His match, the main event is next.
Match Number 9: Finn Balor vs Braun Strowman
These two went all over the arena, and just fought. Balor tried the top rope, but Braun grabbed by the throat, and nails a Powerslam. And another to boot, is all she wrote.
Winner: Braun Strowman, by pinfall
After the match, Braun stood Finn up, and showed him a flair of respect. The show ends with Braun celebrating in the ring.
Some good things here tonight, and some eh moments here too. The good was the beginning of the show, seeing the return of Stephanie McMahon. I also liked the Women’s Contract signing, and the main event was fun. Overall, a solid show. Hated the Lashley’s Sisters moment, but Sami did everything to make it work. See what happens from here. What were your thoughts of the show? Sound off here.
