In-Ring Promo:  Ronda Rousey and Kurt Angle Vs Stephanie McMahon and HHH Face-Off

Jonathan Coachman is in the ring, set to introduce The Power Couple, Stephanie McMahon and HHH.  And now Coach introduces Kurt and Ronda.  Coach submits some questions, but HHH interrupts him.  He has a question for Kurt he wants to ask.  It’s a shame these fans are chanting for Ronda Rousey.  It’s unfortunate because they really want to like you, but that chant will be a deafening silence this Sunday, because of the person sitting next to you.  Intelligence, Integrity, and Intensity, which you won an Olympic medal with a broken freaking neck.  Integrity and Intensity, he understands, but he never saw that intelligence since the day he met Kurt.  He set up Ronda with a loss, on the biggest stage of her career, this is a whopper, so he wants to know why.  Ronda wants to know why they would be 2-face signing her with ulterior motives.  Stephanie asks Coach to forgive Ronda, she doesn’t understand the format.  They will re-shape her after the loss this Sunday.  Ronda understands, they didn’t answer the question.  Stephanie said they signed Ronda because its best for business.  Her husband asked Kurt a question, he cost Ronda millions, and cost WWE millions.  So who the hell do you think you are?  Kurt answers this by saying she is Ronda freaking Rousey.  She is an Olympic medalist, she is a UFC Champion, and this Sunday, she will make Stephanie tap out.  HHH gets it she is Ronda Freaking Rousey.  Big deal, she is an Olympic medalist, she is a UFC Champion, but to WWE, that means absolutely nothing.  Ronda has always wanted to compete in the WWE ring her entire life, this is their life, his wife, HHH’s life.  They do whatever they can to succeed, and they make the rules.  She will find out this Sunday.  Coach wants to get to the questions.  How does Stephanie and HHH feel if they lose?  Stephanie did say they will win, and they are The Authority, if anyone says anything to them, there will be consequences in stepping up to them.  Another question is how does Kurt feel about Ronda teaming up with him?  Kurt answers this by saying she is the baddest woman on the planet inside an Octagon, or inside a WWE ring, he knows she will be ready.  Last question is how do you feel going into the match?  Stephanie answers this will be a way to cement Ronda’s first match as a loss, and we all know how Ronda takes losses.  Ronda asks Steph if she is a righty or a lefty?  Right handed, why?  Because Ronda still wants to make sure Stephanie can still write a check for her after she makes her tap.

Now its photo time, but we need to do this the classy way.  So Kurt and HHH shake hands, but Ronda and Steph do a face-to-face.  HHH cheap shots Kurt, and Ronda grabs HHH by the throat, but Steph gives Ronda a Spinebuster through the table to end the segment.

Match Number 1:  Bayley Vs Sonya Deville

Bayley picks up the win, while the announcers kept talking about how great Sonya Deville is.  She wins with a roll up.  After the match, Absolution attacks Bayley, and Sasha Banks comes to her aid.  Sasha tells Bayley to raise her hand, Bayley tells her she didn’t need her help, and now the two women start to fight, but Absolution has the final say, attack both women, and finish victorious.  This Sunday, first ever Women’s Battle Royal.

Backstage Segment:  Kurt Angle and Paul Heyman

Heyman is on the phone, when Kurt interrupts him.  The most important part of Wrestlemania is to make sure the main event is intact.  Heyman says for Kurt, he goes to the ring, says some kind things about Roman Reigns, wait for Wrestlemania.  Kurt is just worried about Brock Lesnar’s well-being.  Heyman laughs, and says he is worried about Brock’s well-being?  Kurt says he is, Roman is more focused now to hurt Brock than ever before.  The whole world wants to see this match, so yes.  Heyman will keep it in advisement.

In-Ring Promo:  The Bar

Braun Strowman says Sheamus.  You need to listen up, fella.  They have been thinking, and they don’t care who’s Braun’s partner is.  Because at the end of the day, this is a tag team match, and he needs to tag out to someone.  They need to have a plan, and no matter who he chooses, they will never have that plan.  And you will never get this.  Because they don’t just set The Bar….They Are The Bar.  Here comes Braun.  If you are trying to say he doesn’t play well with others, they are right.  But management are making sure he has a partner to fight for the Tag Team Titles, so he has one.  He just talked with him in the back, and he doesn’t like what they are saying.  Then why doesn’t he come out here, and say it to their face.  Braun said on one occasion, he wants a match against one of them.  Sheamus accepts, so Braun’s partner is?  It’s Braun Strowman with glasses.  His name is Brains, and he is about to knock theirs out of their head.  Now The Bar fight off Braun Strowman, but he fights out of it.  Sending The Bar out of harm’s way.

Next:  John Cena Gets His Challenge Answered?

In-Ring Promo:  John Cena

I hate saying this, but Cena was wrong.  He was wrong because they are out of time, and there is still no answer.  Cena was wrong, and in this case because they are running out of time, silence means no.  Some people may be upset about that, not Cena.  He offered the possibility of The Undertaker to do something, and nothing.  But he doesn’t hold his head down.  People ask if Cena has a match, earlier today, Michael Cole told him that is stupid not to have a match, just get involved in the Battle Royal, or be Braun’s partner, or enter in the Fatal 4-Way.  Cena just lost at Survivor Series.  He lost at Royal Rumble.  He lost at Elimination Chamber, and he lost at Fastlane.  So if he were to do that, he would take someone’s spot, who worked their ass off all year.  He issued the challenge, because both men would find out who is the best, nobody loses.  Last year, Cena’s life has completely turned around, and gives a shoutout to Nikki.  Cena is excited about Wrestlemania, it’s all about change, and maybe now is the time for a change.  The fans chant for Taker, and he tells them maybe he doesn’t hear them, then again, maybe he does.  He is damn proud to go to Wrestlemania as a fan.  This is a stacked card, and he is damn proud to say they don’t need him.  He is damn proud to see Daniel Bryan compete in a WWE ring for the first time in 3 years.  He is damn proud that AJ Styles will get to have that Wrestlemania match he has deserved for so many years.  He is damn proud that Wrestlemania is the same days as Rusev Day.  He is looking forward to seeing Elias, and we all know what WWE means.  He is looking forward to seeing all 3 women matches heading to Wrestlemania.  He is very sorry to the fans that this match couldn’t get done.  He tried his best through Social Media, and the cities leading up to Mania, but did he even try in Atlanta?  He doesn’t even think they can get loud enough for him.  Cena wants to try now.  Tells Atlanta to make some noise for The Undertaker.  He pleads with Atlanta that if you want the lightning, you got to be the thunder, asking them to be so loud, he can hear it in Death Valley.  Still, no Undertaker.  You hear that, Taker?  4 weeks straight to pour their heart out for you to come out, and you don’t do a damn thing to come out.  Is he upset the match won’t happen?  No, but is he upset at Taker?  Yes, he is.  If you ignore these fans after all of these weeks, and you do nothing, you are a dead man walking.  Hey Taker, it’s obvious you left your hat in the ring, but you also left your balls at home.

Nothing, no Taker.  Very disappointing, no clue why they are doing this.

Earlier Tonight:  Steph puts Ronda through a table

Backstage Segment:  Reigns and Angle

Kurt tells Roman to not ruin his opportunity his Mania match.  Heyman says he will not say anything that will incite Reigns.  Roman asks him if he believes that?  Is Brock even here?  Kurt assures him he is here.  Out of respect to Kurt, he will wait out and listen to what Heyman says.  He is sick of the disrespect Brock and Heyman has given to the fans, and the superstars in the back for the last 6 years.

In-Ring Concert:  Elias

Hello, I am Elias.  And I have one question for everybody here tonight, who wants to walk with Elias?  He has the keys to life, and if you want your soul to be saved, he will tell them what everyone will find out this Sunday.  That WWE stands for Walk with Elias.  Another sold out crowd screaming his name.  Atlanta?  So the last stop to Wrestlemania is this hell hole of a dump named Atlanta?  If it was up to Elias, he would skip this city, and head to another city that matters.  And that is what he will do after tonight, so he needs us to silence our phones, hold our applause, and shut our mouths.

Match Number 4:  Elias Vs Heath Slater

Drift Away, bye-bye Heath.

Winner:  Elias, by pinfall

Next:  Exclusive Interview with Nia Jax

Backstage Segment:  Braun Strowman and Curt Hawkins

Curt asks for Braun to choose him as a tag team partner.  Braun denies the request.

Backstage Interview:  Nia Jax

Renee Young gets an exclusive interview with Nia Jax, earlier today.  Nia talks about how going back to what Alexa and Mickie said a few weeks ago took her back to growing up, and not feeling very confident about herself.  But moving on, she knows who she is.  She is not a goddess, and never claimed to be.  Nia talks about how she thought Alexa was her best friend, and is not as dumb as Alexa thinks she is.  The comments took a toll on her, but she had to look at herself in the mirror.  She is Nia Jax, she doesn’t take that shit.  She is big, but she is proud of who she is.  Alexa Bliss is like anybody else who has said she does not belong in the ring, and doesn’t deserve this.  She wants to send a message to Alexa, she is nothing but an insecure little girl, and will squash her like a bug at Wrestlemania.

Match Number 5:  Alexa Bliss (Raw Women’s Champ) and Mickie James Vs Asuka and Dana Brooke

The Streak is on the line here, even if Asuka does not get pinned.  But Asuka makes Mickie tap out to The Asuka Lock, and after the match, Mickie and Alexa attack Asuka and Dana, and here comes Nia Jax.  Mickie tried to intervene, but Asuka nails a Samoan Drop.

Winners:  Asuka and Dana Brooke, by submission

Backstage Segment:  Heyman, Brock, and Kurt

Kurt tries to stop Brock, but Heyman assures him he will have some nice things to say about Reigns

In Ring Promo:  Heyman and Brock

Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman.  You know Kurt Angle, just because you have your manhood locked tonight, and because you are training Ronda Rousey, you are losing control and because Roman Reigns doesn’t want his feelings hurt, even though Heyman speaks the truth.  No, the truth?  The night after Royal Rumble, when Roman spoke out about his client, and they weren’t there, he was laughing at every single one of us.  And now we head to New Orleans this Sunday, when the WWE Universal Championship is on the line, you have to respect the bloodline of the challenger, you have to respect what he represents.  But ladies and gentlemen, his client Brock Lesnar will hit a F-5, and pin Reigns 1…2…3, and that is the truth.  If Brock slips on a banana peel, then he and his client will never be on Raw again.  Now Heyman will use a little shine, back in 2002, when Heyman brings out Brock Lesnar.  He had this persona, when Brock didn’t care about the locker room, and not one member in the locker room can hold a candle to Brock, then ladies and gentlemen, that is 100 percent true.  There is nobody that can do what Brock can do, then, now and forever.  So Roman reigns has one choice, to agree that his ass is owned by Brock Lesnar.  So Roman will have to go back to his family, and say he got beat by Brock Lesnar.  He got victimized by Brock Lesnar, he was conquered by Brock Lesnar.  Because the truth is Roman Reigns isn’t the big dog, and this isn;t his yard.  And the truth is Roman Reigns is Brock’s bitch.

Here comes Roman Reigns, and we have the WWE lcoker room out there, holding a wall, preventing Reigns to go after Brock.  Reigns asks if these full-time lcoker room will be allowed to protect that part-time bastard?  They let him through.  Reigns is headed to the ring.  Brock heads out of the ring, and retreats from Reigns.  Now Brock has a chair.  4 Superman Punches. and Brock is struggling to make it to his feet, another Superman Punch.  Reigns has the Universal Championship, and raises it.    But Roman takes his eye off the price, and Brock nails a F-5.  The show ends here.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

Overall, this was a fun show to watch, I just hate the build to Taker Vs Cena, because Cena has said many bad things about Taker’s character.  This is a man who has the legacy of Andre The Giant.  You want to say Andre was selfish, and Andre never answers?  I just don’t understand.  I did think there was improvement with Reigns Vs Brock.  Roman was able to get some good hits, but the story is 1 F-5 Vs 5 Superman Punches.  The segment with Steph and Ronda was effective, but its time we see “The Machine” Kurt Angle come back.  Not the “Castrated” Kurt who answers to the McMahons.  What were your thoughts on the show?  Ready for this Sunday?
