Match Number 1:  John Cena vs HHH

Back and forth match here that saw many Spinebusters, a crotch chop, a few You Can’t See Me’s, 3 AA, a Pedigree, and the end came when Cena nailed an AA, then sent HHH through the ring buckle, then followed that by another AA and pin HHH.  These two can wrestle anytime.

Winner:  John Cena, by pinfall

In-Ring Promo:  John Cena

What an honor and a privilege it is to perform in front of you today.  No matter what is going on with Cena’s universe, he was not going to pass to compete in this ring tonight.  Thank you to the kingdom of Jeddah for their hospitality, and enjoy the rest of the night.

Match Number 2:  Cedric Alexander (WWE Cruiserweight Champ) Vs Kalisto for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

They tried like crazy to get this over for the crowd, but Cedric retains his Cruiserweight Championship after Kalisto attempts a Salina Del Sol, but Cedric reversed it into a Lumbar Check for the win.

Winner, and STILL WWE Cruiserweight Champion:  Cedric Alexander, by pinfall

Match Number 3:  The Bar Vs The Deleter of Worlds for the vacant Raw Tag Team Championship

The Deleter of Worlds won the Raw Tag Team Titles by being….themselves.  They win with Sister Abigail, and an elevated Twist of Fate.  It was WOOOOOOOONNNNDDDDERFUUUUULLLLL, YES!!

Winners, and NEW Raw Tag Team Champions:  The Deleter of Worlds, by pinfall

Match Number 4:  Jeff Hardy (US Champ) Vs Jinder Mahal for the WWE United States Championship

Hardy retains his title with a Swanton Bomb, pinning Jinder Mahal.

Winner, and STILL WWE United States Champion:  Jeff Hardy, by pinfall

Backstage Interview Chris Jericho

Mike is with Chris Jericho, excited about being a part of The Greatest Royal Rumble, Tom.  It can be his night, he can feel it.  Mike tells Chris he is Mike, Chris doesn’t buy it.  He knows the difference between Tom and Mike, and with doing that….Tom JUST MADE THE LIST!!  The cameraman just made the list, the sound man just made the list, as did Ed.  And now, 49 other men just made the list.

Official Greatest Royal Rumble Theme Song:  Godsmack “When Legends Rise”

Backstage Interview:  Daniel Bryan

Tom, I mean Mike is back interviewing Daniel Bryan.  Daniel was victorious in his return at Wrestlemania, Daniel said everything is a privilege, and he doesn’t expect to win just another Royal Rumble, he expects to win the Greatest Royal Rumble….YES!!

Match Number 5:  The Bludgeon Brothers (SD Tag Team Champs) Vs The Usos for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship

The Usos delivered their Splash, but that wasn’t enough, The Bludgeon Brothers destroyed The Usos, with their Double Powerbomb, retaining the titles.

Winners, and STILL SD Tag Team Champions:  The Bludgeon Brothers, by pinfall

Match Number 6:  Seth Rollins (WWE IC Champ) Vs The Miz Vs Finn Balor Vs Samoa Joe for the WWE Intercontinental Championship in a Ladder Match

This was a fun match here, all 4 men got to shine, which was great.  The end came when Balor nails a Coup De Gras on The Miz, he had an opportunity to climb the ladder, fingertips away from grabbing the IC Title, and Rollins climbed up that ladder, and snatched it from Balor, to retain his title.  Balor looks a bit upset, and Finn has some bleeding on his eye.  A great ending to the match.

Winner, and STILL Intercontinental Champion:  Seth Rollins

Video WWE Performance Students in Saudi Arabia

In-Ring presentation WWE Try-Out Students

They were giving their introduction, and here comes The Daivari Brothers to interrupt.  Shawn Daivari making his WWE return.  They call them pathetic, and nothing.  They aren’t real athletes, real athletes like the Daivari Brothers come from the strongest nation, Iran.  The students fight back on The Daivari Brothers.  The crowd loves this.  A good moment for all 4 men here.

Match Number 7:  AJ Styles (WWE Champ) Vs Shinsuke Nakamura for the WWE Championship

The ending sucked here, but the story was great that was told.  Shinsuke played with AJ’s emotions.  So much that AJ lost his cool, sent Shinsuke outside of the ring, and both men could not answer the count.  I am expecting a Last Man Standing match at Backlash between both men.

Winner:  Double Countout, Styles retains WWE Championship

Match Number 8:  The Undertaker Vs Rusev in a Casket Match

This was a longer match than he had with Cena, but the same result.  Taker gives Rusev a Chokeslam, put him in a casket, then Aidan English tried to interfere, but Taker stops him, gives Aidan a Tombstone Piledriver, and put them both in the casket for the win.

Winner:  The Undertaker

Match Number 9:  Brock Lesnar (WWE Universal Champion) Vs Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship Inside A Steel Cage

Well, this was creative, 4 trips to Suplex City, 2 F-5’s, 4 Superman Punches, 5 spears, multiple chair shots, and on that 4th spear, both men were sent through the cage and both went out of the ring.  The referee awarded the match to Brock, since he was out of the ring first.  But Roman’s feet hit the floor first.  I will say this is the strongest Roman has looked since going up against Brock, but Lesnar still has the title.

Winner, and STILL WWE Universal Champion:  Brock Lesnar, Through The Cage

Winner of Greatest Royal Rumble Match:  Braun Strowman

Vince McMahon shows up to present Strowman the GRR Title and the trophy.  Fireworks go off, pyro, such a moment in WWE history.  The show ends here.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

Man, this was a long show.  But I still liked it, a very unique experience, and WWE made this feel special.  The IC Title certainly was good, we also saw a classic Undertaker appearance, Cena Vs HHH started the show off well, Daniel Bryan was the star of the Royal Rumble.  Cass eliminating Bryan was perfect for their match next Sunday, and of course someone got these hands, 13 to be exact.  13 eliminations by Strowman.  Brock Vs Reigns was entertaining too, but you have to still think where we go from here with the Universal Championship?  Will it finally indeed be Strowman who dethrone Brock?  Raw is this Monday night in Montreal, setting up Backlash.  Share me your thoughts on today’s show here.
