In-Ring promo: Kurt Angle

Kurt has swallowed his pride since he first came to WWE as Raw General Manager. Stephanie McMahon has taught him at times he needs to act professional as Raw General Manager. But last week, things went too far, and HHH sucker-punched Kurt Angle. So as a man, he is calling him out, get your ass out here now.

Stephanie McMahon comes out, instead. Steph is here to calm things down. HHH is not even here yet. Steph tells Kurt he has 5 kids, and how old is his youngest? 1 years old, and she has blue eyes, just like her daddy, and he wants to buy everything for her, right? And Kurt has been married twice, so he has alimony checks? It has to be expensive, but Kurt is an Olympic Gold Medalist, nobody can take that away from him. So she needs to ask this question, do those Olympic Gold Medalists pay the bills? No, how WWE contract does, right? And let’s be honest, Kurt provoked HHH with his handling of Ronda Rousey. So they are even, and Kurt has to be professional, right? So don’t ruin this, do the right thing. And here comes Ronda Rousey.

Ronda is getting a big reaction from Milwaukee, which is great to see. What Stephanie did to Kurt last week was enlightening. She is beginning to think the people who brought her here were not the people who she thought they were. She has dealt with bully bosses before, so she is good with it. Stephanie said people do things they don’t want to do, because their boss tells them to. But that is okay, she signed her contract, they are giving Ronda everything she wanted, a debut match at Wrestlemania. It doesn’t get any better than that. Ronda thanks her for that, but she gets to choose who her opponent is, right? Yes, as long as there isn’t a champion, or that person is an active performer. Ronda wants Stephanie, and here comes HHH. This isn’t going to happen, Kurt needs to do his job. Stephanie is an executive, she is in charge of WWE. Kurt replies that HHH is here? HHH says do your job, and Kurt says he is right. Stephanie does have an executive contract, but she also has another contract as a superstar contract. So she will face Ronda Rousey, but that’s not all that has a contract, HHH does too. So at Wrestlemania, it will be HHH and Stephanie McMahon Vs Ronda, and KURT ANGLE!!! Stephanie gets into Kurt’s face, and Ronda blocks the slap. HHH says let’s not do this, we will walk away. HHH tries to get another cheap shot in, but Kurt fights back. These two have a good battle going for 30 seconds, but Ronda looks at HHH, and Stephanie punches her from behind. Ronda gets right back up. HHH now is in the middle of the two of them, he goes right for Kurt with a Pedigree, but Kurt slides into an Angle Lock. Stephanie saves her husband, and Ronda gets her some. She nails Steph with a Samoan Drop, to end the segment.

Wrestlemania: Mixed Tag Match, Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey Vs HHH and Stephanie McMahon

Match Number 1: Asuka Vs Nia Jax

This was a big fight here, with Nia using her power, but Asuka fighting back. The finish was Asuka slapping on the Asuka Lock, but Nia fought back, and Asuka turns it into the Armbar, and Nia had no choice but to tap out. This time, no attack from behind, Nia is just in pain.

Winner: Asuka, by submission

The fans are giving Nia a standing ovation through defeat, and Nia is selling her arm might be broke.

Chloe and Halle Sing America The Beautiful at Wrestlemania 34

Match Number 2: The Bar (Raw Tag Team Champs) Vs The Revival in a non-title match

The crowd really didn’t care about this match, despite all 4 men working their tails off. The stipulation was if The Revival won this match, they would head to Wrestlemania to face The Bar, for the Tag Team Titles. That didn’t happen, Cesaro nails the Neutralizer for the win.

Winners: The Bar, by pinfall

Next: John Cena

Video: Strangers Prey At Night

In-Ring Promo: John Cena

I am here tonight on Monday Night Raw, to talk to all of you about Smackdown. I understand this is a difficult subject, he understand we don’t want to hear you, but he suggests we just listen. He has granted his path to Wrestlemania, and the Raw General Manager has allowed Cena to talk about this Sunday’s Fastlane. He understands the privilege of working this ring. He is the only Free Agent in WWE, and he doesn’t take that for granted. He is here to talk about history being broken, this Sunday. He understands that the fans don’t want to hear this, but they have no choice, it must be said. This Sunday, John Cena will win the WWE Championship for a record-breaking 17th time. All records must be broken, and he has heard so much that he is here to be given every opportunity, and he holds people back. He has earned this opportunity, when he defeated, and pinned AJ Styles last week. People say he ruined AJ Style’s Wrestlemania moment, and no that is not the case, AJ Styles, Cena wants him to earn that moment, cash in your rematch clause, and face Cena and Shinsuke Nakamura at Wrestlemania. And here comes Goldust.

He gives us a quote from “On The Waterfront”, and Goldust introduces John Cena as our leading man. He has always dreamed of sharing the silver screen with someone like John, soaking the spotlight at Wrestlemania. That dream begins with stopping John Cena from going to Wrestlemania. Now listen, all of his dreams never had that perfect ending story. They have all been taken from him just like that. All of those dreams, with pretty rainbows, have turned gray, and very, very evil. That ends today. You want to go to Wrestlemania, and compete for the WWE Title. That is your dream. Goldust is taking control right now, as your new director of your motion picture. And tonight, your dreams will be shattered. Goldust decks Cena as we go to a commercial.

Match Number 3: John Cena Vs Goldust

The first time these two have met, and Cena wins with the AA.

Winner: John Cena, by pinfall

Backstage Segment: Kurt and Elias

Elias wants Kurt to consider cancelling his Symphony of Destruction match against Braun tonight. Kurt considers it, and the match is still on. Elias said the destruction he causes on Braun will be on Kurt, and Kurt says after last week, this match will also be a Falls Count Anywhere match.

Tonight: The 3rd Annual Mizzies Awards

Next: Bayley

2018 WWE Hall of Fame Inductee: Hillbilly Jim

In-Ring Interview: Bayley

Charly Caruso asks Bayley what happened last week, and Bayley said Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber, it was every woman for herself, but what Sasha Banks did last week, and Absolution interrupts this. Paige tells Bayley she was stupid, because she pushed away the one friend she had, because there is strength in numbers. Because if you don’t have anyone, you have nothing.

Match Number 4: Bayley Vs Mandy Rose

Bayley picks up the win with a roll up, but the numbers game caught up to Bayley and here comes Sasha Banks to fight Absolution off. Sasha then raises Bayley’s hand, and wants a hug. But Bayley brushes that off, and walks away.

Winner: Bayley, by pinfall

Video: Women’s History Month

Backstage Segment: Alexa Bliss, Nia Jax, and Mickie James

Alexa tries to console Nia after her loss, saying do not quit, and even though she will not make it to this year’s Wrestlemania, she knows she will. She knows how everyone looks at her, and has been going through bullying, but Alexa knows she is a very strong woman, and knows she cannot give up. Nia is in tears.

Earlier Tonight: Ronda Rousey

Wrestlemania 34: Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey Vs HHH and Stephanie

Last Week: Elias vs Braun

Selfie Promo: Braun Strowman

Tonight, he is getting his hands on Elias, and tonight is the beginning of his destruction.

Next: Elias Vs Braun Strowman in a Symphony of Destruction Match

In-Ring Concert: Elias

Elias has the midas touch, everything he touches turns to gold. And he plays the piano to prove it. He has one question for us, who wants to walk with Elias? He loves symphonies, and he loves classic. But this is the very opposite of this slimy city. Unlike Braun Strowman, he is not a one trick pony, he can do it all. Elias plays the piano. And Braun Strowman does not know the truth, and that is WWE stands for Walk with Elias. And Elias has one more song for Braun, because he is about to be destroyed, and what Elias needs from us is to silence our cellphones, and shut our mouths. He sings about how he is going to win. And Milwaukee sucks. He’s not afraid of Braun Strowman.

Match Number 5: Elias Vs Braun Strowman in a Symphony of Destruction Match

Elias tried to escape, but it did not work. Braun lifted Elias’ car, and sent Elias back into the building. Braun flipped over piano, and pins Elias. EMTs are out, wheeling Elias out.

Winner: Braun Strowman, by pinfall

Friday, April 27th:  50-Man Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia

Match Number 6:  Bray Wyatt Vs Rhyno

Sister Abigail, match is done just like that.

Winner:  Bray Wyatt, by pinfall

In-Ring Promo:  Bray Wyatt

Bray is begging for Matt Hardy to show his face, he wants one more shot at him.  Matt appears on the screen, we see that he is down for that one match, but we do it at the only place we can….AT THE HARDY COMPOUND!!  Prepare for Bray Wyatt’s DELETION!!  DELETE!!  DELETE!!  DELETE!!

Next:  The Mizzie’s

In-Ring Promo:  The Mizzies

Welcome to the most-see talk show in WWE history, welcome to The Mizzie’s, this is the 3rd annual Mizzie’s, and this is better than The Academy Awards, because nobody has heard of the movies that win the awards, and he is right.  But I did hear of “Get Out”, but how can that be nominated, and not “The Marine 5”?  We are setting up our awards.

Mizzies:  Biggest Gloater Accomplishing Nothing

A.  Seth Rollins, for bragging about lasting in the Gauntlet Match for 65 minutes.

B.  Finn Balor, for winning the WWE Universal Champion, and keeping it for less than 24 hours.

C.  Kurt Angle, for putting his idiot son Jason Jordan on Raw

Winner:  Finn Balor and Seth Rollins.  But they can’t accept their awards because they weren’t invited.

Mizzies:  Worst Decisions for Raw General Managers

A.  Kurt Angle, for bringing his bastard son Jason Jordan into Raw.

B.  Kurt Angle, for letting both Finn Balor and Seth Rollins into the Elimination Chamber match.

C.  Kurt Angle, for not naming The Miz’s Wrestlemania opponent.

Winner:  Kurt Angle, for not naming The Miz’s Wrestlemania opponent.  But he won’t accept the award because he is in the back kissing Ronda Rousey’s ass

And now we honor The Lifetime Mizzie’s, but Seth Rollins and Finn Balor.  Miz spoke the truth about Seth accomplishing nothing at Elimination Chamber.  And Finn Balor, you say you are “over” yet all you do is lose big matches.  You have failed at recapturing the WWE Universal Championship.  Now you can say you beat me twice last week, but Miz wrestled twice, you gained the advantage on him, so tonight, how about they gain an advantage.  How about Balor and Rollins team up to face The Miztourage, and they accept.  The match is next.

Match Number 7:  The Miz (WWE IC Champ) and The Miztourage Vs Seth Rollins and Finn Balor in a 3-on-2 Handicap Match

Rollins and Balor win the match, but they aren’t exactly getting along.  They trade tags, and Finn nails a Coup De Grace, followed by Rollins hitting a Curb Stomp, and pinning The Miz.  After the match, Kurt Angle shows up, and he makes the IC Title match into a Triple Threat match, at Wrestlemania.  The Miz Vs Rollins Vs Balor.

Winners:  Seth Rollins and Finn Balor, by pinfall

Next:  Paul Heyman

In-Ring Promo:  Paul Heyman

Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman.  I am the advocate to the reigning, defending, undisputed Universal Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar.  I do not seek your irrelevant opinion, nor do I seek you affirmation.  I am here to deliver a message, on behalf of my client.  I am here tonight to set the record straight.  I am here tonight to lay this title in this ring, because Brock allows me to get my hands on this title.  And after Brock successfully defends this title at Wrestlemania against Roman Reigns.  And if Brock chooses to defend his title at Summerslam, I will lay this title down, and on the other side of this ring, I will lay down the UFC Heavyweight Championship in this ring too.  You know last week, Roman Reigns had a lot to say about “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar.  Roman Reigns took upon himself to criticize Brock Lesnar’s schedule, to say…hey Roman, what is your biggest victory of your career?  Last year, at Wrestlemania when you defeated The Undertaker.  And props to you, for doing that, only the second man to ever achieve that.  And has anyone ever criticize The Undertaker for saying he only wrestles one time a year?  No, because  that statement would be bullshit.  The Undertaker is The Undertaker for 365 days a year.  And you beat him, so props for you.  And Brock Lesnar is Brock Lesnar.  But this year, you aren’t beating Brock Lesnar, and I can hold this title just like that.  And if Roman reigns doesn’t like that, then next week, he can say it to Brock Lesnar’s face.  Because next week, Heyman will bring out Brock Lesnar.  And Afa Wrestlemania, you can Sika another title for fight for, because this belongs to Brock Lesnar.

Heyman has more points to say here.  You know last week, Roman reigns came out here, and called Brock a bitch.  This is Brock Lesnar’s bitch.  She belongs to Brock Lesnar, and Roman Reigns, you are eyeballing Brock’s bitch and you can’t have her.  Roman reigns, you want to be Universal Champion, because your families’ bloodline runs through this business, and this business runs through your families’ bloodline?  When you are the Universal Champion, this is your family.  And this bloodline is yours to keep, and you’re not going to have to pry through Brock Lesnar’s cold, dead hand, you will have to take it through Brock’s hot hand, because ever since Brock was a little boy, he was always big.  He always wanted to be number one, so let me spell this out for you.  This is not a belt, it’s not a strap, this is the clarification that you’re number one in the business, not just the universe, but the world.  And you can look at your children in the eye, and tell them you are the very best in the world.  Not just THE GUY, and this is the biggest dog, and this is the biggest yard, THE number one face in the planet and everywhere else in the universe.  Because Roman reigns, it’s not how bad you want the title, it’s how bad the title wants you.  Here is the biggest sacrifice you have to make.  On the Saturday before Wrestlemania, you get a phone call that says your father is dying, and in the morning they tell you something very bad happened to your father, and you have to come home.  You can’t, because you have to defend this title on the main event of Wrestlemania.  And after you retain that title, you can’t catch a red-eye flight back home, because you have to appear on the Raw after Wrestlemania, and then maybe, just maybe you won’t have to be on Smackdown, you can fly back home and be with your family.  You have to want this title more, because this title loves you more.  This title needs you more.  This title lusts for you more, because this title is everything you are, and you need everything about this title.  Roman Reigns, next week, my client will be here, and you can say anything you want to his face.  Because by now I think you have learned, Roman Reigns you don’t want to shoot on the mic with Paul Heyman.  And you don’t want to shoot in the ring, with Brock Lesnar.

Roman Reigns comes to the ring, he orders Heyman to pick that title up, and show respect to it.  You see this is what I said last week Milwaukee.  He said a lot of things last week, some was harsh but all of it was true.  And what did Brock do?  He sent Heyman for his rebuttal.  Brock really is a bitch, isn’t he?  He’s not asking for much, all Roman is asking is for Brock to show up.  We don’t just want that, Roman just wants Brock to want to be here.  Heyman said Brock will be here next week in Detroit?  So will Roman, and Brock can say whatever he wants.  But he doesn’t just want Brock to show up for a promo segment, Reigns wants Brock to show up for a fight.

The show ends here, with Heyman running out of the ring.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

The beginning of the show, and the ending was fantastic.  It felt special, and it felt like Wrestlemania season is around the corner.  Everything else?  Eh.  I really hope we see a segment with Brock and Roman next week, face to face.  They can’t advertise this, only to not execute again.  This Sunday is Fastlane, they have 4 weeks to truly build Wrestlemania, so now is the time.  Which is also why they are slowly building these other matches, such as Banks vs Bayley, which will happen.  I also think we need to see who Asuka is facing at Wrestlemania, for sure too, which is something they have yet to do.  But I did enjoy that first segment, and it was nice to hear Ronda Rousey chants.  Let’s see it continue.  What were your thoughts on the show?  Send them to me.
