Backstage Promo:  Bray Wyatt

Elimination Chamber is upon us, this is Bray’s greatest victory where he won the WWE Championship last year.  And his opponent tonight is Roman Reigns.  Everyone forgot about him, but he knows who he is.  Roman lost the Royal Rumble match, he lost the Intercontinental Championship, and he’s still confident.  He’s about to be put out of his misery, as a failure.

We pan to Roman Reigns, he is not a failure, he has gone through adversity.  He is on a journey, and that journey is to go through Suplex City at Wrestlemania, and beat Brock Lesnar.  It begins tonight, and ends at Wrestlemania, as the new WWE Universal Champion.

Match Number 1:  Roman Reigns Vs Bray Wyatt in a Qualifying Match For Elimination Chamber

The story here was Wyatt won Elimination Chamber last year, Reigns has never been inside Elimination Chamber.  They knew each other very well, and seemed ready to counter move for move.  Reigns kicks out of Sister Abigail.  reverses another one and nails a spear for the win.  Reigns has advanced to Elimination Chamber.  After the match, “Woken” Matt Hardy shows up, and gives Bray a Twist of Fate for good measure.

Winner, and Advances To Elimination Chamber:  Roman Reigns, by pinfall

Backstage Segment:  Jason Jordan and Seth Rollins

Tonight, they have a Raw Tag Team Title rematch, and Seth wants to make sure he can compete.  Jason assures him he has been cleared to compete, and Seth tells him this about them getting their Tag Team Titles back.

Tonight:  Raw Tag Team Title Match

Tonight:  Cena Vs Braun Vs Elias in a Triple Threat Match, Winner Is In Last at Elimination Chamber

Match Number 2:  Finn Balor and Karl Anderson Vs The Revival

Scott Dawson has the mic, and he says they are The Revival, and they are Tag Team specialists.  Where Dash goes, Scott goes.  So how about they switch this up as a tag team match, and Finn chose Anderson, here we go.  This was a good match that had The Balor Club pick up the win after Finn Balor nails Coup De Grace, pinning Dash Wilder.

Winners:  Finn Balor and Karl Anderson, by pinfall

Tonight:  Kurt Angle Reveals Who Will Be A Part of Women’s Elimination Chamber

Tonight:  Asuka Vs Bayley

Backstage Segment:  Bayley and Sasha

Sasha is still watching footage from last week’s match against Asuka.  Sasha still wants to prove that she is still “The Boss”, and Bayley wants some tips on tonight’s match.  Sasha wants to focus on Elimination Chamber match, and Bayley reminds her that Bayley was eliminated by Sasha.  It’s every woman for themselves, and Sasha wants to win Elimination Chamber, so she can beat Asuka at Wrestlemania.  Bayley is thinking the same thing, except she can beat Asuka.  Bayley knows she can beat Sasha, and if she can do that, then she can beat Asuka.

Match Number 3:  Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali Vs Tony Nese and Drew Gulak

The new 205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick joins us at the commentary booth.  This was a good showcase match here with the 4 men.  Cedric seemed to hurt his shoulder, but his team wins after a Lumbar Check.

Winners:  Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali, by pinfall

Next:  Women’s Elimination Chamber Announcement

In-Ring Promo:  Kurt Angle

Last Sunday history was made with her first ever Women’s Royal Rumble match.  It was an incredible match, and he can proudly say Raw’s own Asuka was the winner.  Last Monday, Stephanie McMahon made the announcement that Alexa Bliss would be defending her Raw Women’s Championship at the very first ever Women’s Elimination Chamber on February 25th.  The 6 competitors are Alexa Bliss, Bayley, Mandy Rose, Mickie James, Sonya Deville, and Sasha Banks.  Nia Jax will be appearing at the PPV, as she will face Asuka, and if Nia wins, she will be added to Wrestlemania Women’s Title match in a Triple Threat match.

Here comes Alexa Bliss.  She tells Kurt this needs to stop.  She has tried to be a good person about this, but this is ridiculous.  In the women’s revolution, both men and women need to be on equal footing.  So why is Alexa defending her championship, and Brock Lesnar is not?  Why does she not get that same privilege?  Is it because she is a woman?  Kurt tells Alexa Brock defended his title at Royal Rumble, the last time Alexa defended her title was at TLC, and Alexa tells Kurt whose fault is that?  She is not the matchmaker.  She feels she deserves respect here, so who does he value more?  Brock or Alexa?  Kurt tells her she needs to stop this right now, and says the crowd will decide her fate, and of course the fans want to see Alexa defend her title, so that will happen.

Selfie Promo:  John Cena

He is ready for tonight’s Triple Threat match.

Tonight:  Triple Threat Match

Tonight:  The Miz vs Apollo Crews, Qualifying Match For Elimination Chamber

Tonight:  Tag Team Championship

Next:  Asuka Vs Bayley

Video:  Black History Month

Match Number 4:  Asuka Vs Bayley

Another fun match here, with the history and background, something Cole brought up, which I loved.  Asuka made Bayley tap out to The Asuka Lock, and after the match, the two shook hands.  Told a great story here.

Winner:  Asuka, by submission

Selfie Promo:  The Bar

They get to kick Seth’s and “Daddy’s Boy” Jason Jordan’s heads again, and when they beat them again, this is their final Tag Team Title shots.

Tonight:  Tag Team Championship

Next:  Elimination Qualifying Match:  The Miz Vs Apollo Crews

In-Ring Promo:  The Miz

When his hands go up, our mouths go shut.  Tonight, he encourages each and every one of us to look up in the sky, because the consolation will look a lot like the Intercontinental Championship.  The stars are aligned to see what he has said all along, 2018 will be the year of The Miz.  Maybe you don’t believe in astrology, but consider this, The Miz returned to Monday Night Raw to win back his IC Title, and the ratings are the highest it has been in 3 years.  Then the next week, The Miz defeats Reigns again, and Roman Reigns is a world-class athlete, he was on a roll.  But now, he was destined to lose, and here is a little inside information for you, Doug Peterson before his Super Bowl game showed his team a video of The Miz winning.  And tonight, he will qualify to go into Elimination Chamber match, he will win that, then go on to meet the reigning, defending, undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania.  He and his wife are set to produce their very own show “Mr and Mrs Miz”, and his daughter will be born just in time to see him become the Intercontinental Champion, and WWE Universal Champion.

Match Number 5:  The Miz (WWE IC Champ) Vs Apollo Crews in a Qualifying Match For Elimination Chamber

This was a good, competitive match but The Miz right the world, by pinning Apollo with Skull Crushing Finale for the win.

Winner, and advances to Elimination Chamber:  The Miz, by pinfall

Backstage Segment:  Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan

Seth wants to find out what is going on, Jordan tells Seth he hurt his neck trying to warm up, and can’t go tonight.  Kurt confesses it’s true, and Seth wants to know what he needs to do, Kurt suggests to forfeit the match.  But Seth has a better plan, go out there with Roman Reigns as his partner.  That match is next.

Match Number 6:  The Bar (WWE Raw Tag Team Champs) Vs Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, for the Raw Tag Team Championship

Rollins and Reigns had things going their way, and Jason Jordan came out to cheer them on.  Reigns told them to go away, they got this.  The Bar tried to run off, but Jordan got into their way.  Jason decked them, and lost the match by DQ for Rollins and Reigns.

Winners:  The Bar, by DQ

Last Monday:  Braun Strowman

Selfie Promo:  Braun Strowman

Braun was the last man standing last week, and tonight he will be the last man standing, just like at the Elimination Chamber.

Backstage Segment:  Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan

Rollins is irate with Jordan for costing him the match, he always puts himself first above the team.  Kurt comes in, and tells Jason to leave, and not come back until he is cleared, and he orders him that.

Match Number 7:  Nia Jax Vs ??

Nia is ready for Asuka, she destroyed this poor woman with a leg drop.

Winner:  Nia Jax, by pinfall

In-ring Interview:  Nia Jax

Renee Young interviews Nia, and she says she isn’t afraid of Asuka.  She is going to mess with Asuka’s pretty little face.

Match Number 8:  Sonya Deville Vs Mickie James

Paige accompanied Sonya, and in a way of an upset, Mickie rolls up Sonya for the win.  Mandy and Sonya beat down Mickie, with Alexa Bliss coming out to help Mickie.

Winner:  Sonya Deville, by pinfall

Next:  Triple Threat Match

Next Week:  Second Chance Qualifying Match To Elimination Chamber:  Balor Vs Wyatt Vs Hardy Vs Crews

In-Ring Concert:  Elias

Hello, I am Elias, and I have one question everywhere here tonight.  Who wants to walk with Elias?  That is a very strong response by a very no-name city.  I have to say it’s my first time performing here, which is very upsetting because he usually flies above this cities like this.  But he is here to beat John Cena and Braun Strowman to solidify his spot as the last entrant of Elimination Chamber.  He will be giving a performance of a lifetime at Wrestlemania.  He gives us a brilliant song about taking care of things at Chamber, and being in a wasteland like Des Moines, and our match begins now.

Match Number 9:  John Cena Vs Elias Vs Braun Strowman in a Triple Threat match

Strowman nails a Powerslam on Cena, and Elias stole the pin from Strowman, to capture the final pod spot at Elimination Chamber.  After the match Strowman gives both men a Powerslam.  The fans were eating it up.  He nails another one for both men to end the show.

Winner:  Elias, by pinfall

Kevin’s Thoughts:

This was another great show, though a few of the matches seemed rushed, the entire show clicked.  I love the story of getting to Elimination Chamber, as Coach put it “the playoffs” to get to Wrestlemania.  The quest to get to Chamber is fun to watch.  It’s also worth noting Elias pinned John Cena tonight.  He is going to be fun to watch this year.  Are we going to see Rollins Vs Jordan at Chamber?  And I love the addition of Coachman to the broadcast.  He adds a different element from the team that was missing.  I want to see who gets added next week in the Second Chance, perhaps this is the person who wins?  What were your thoughts on the show?  Sound off here
