Hello and welcome to Monday Night Raw.  It’s been a historic week in WWE, kicking off with Raw 25, celebrating the first 25 years of Monday Night Raw, and we will be kicking off 25 more in Philly.  We saw a historic Women’s Royal Rumble, where “The Boss” Sasha Banks entering number 1, and lasted almost an hour.  It’s about Becky Lynch who entered number 2, and we have legends, Hall of Famers like Lita, Jacqueline, Beth Phoenix, and at number 30, Trish Stratus.  But at the end of the night the game changed with the newest member of WWE, Ronda Rousey made her debut.  But that was last night, tonight we celebrate the winner of the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble, and here comes Asuka.

Steph congratulates Asuka, she is going to Wrestlemania.  Normally, this is the moment where she asks Asuka which Women’s Championship is she going for.  Could it be against Charlotte Flair, or could it be against Alexa Bliss?  Before she makes her decision, Alexa Bliss may not even be Raw Women’s Champion at Wrestlemania.  She will be defending her Women’s Championship inside an Elimination Chamber match.  So Asuka, this is about you tonight.

Asuka speaks in Japanese, she points to the Wrestlemania sign, and says she is going to be Raw Women’s Champion, and win it at Wrestlemania, and nobody is ready for Asuka.

But here comes Sasha Banks.

Sasha tells Stephanie that last night was an honor, making history against 29 other incredible athletes, and Asuka is included in that class.  But she proved she can hang with everyone.  So Asuka is undefeated for 2 years, so she says nobody is ready for Asuka?  Well Sasha Banks is ready for Asuka.  Stephanie makes it official, tonight it will be Asuka Vs Sasha Banks.

Tonight:  Braun Strowman Vs Kane in a Last Man Standing Man In A Qualifying Match For Elimination Chamber

Tonight:  “Woken” Matt Hardy Vs Elias In A Qualifying Match For Elimination Chamber

Tonight:  John Cena Vs Finn Balor In A Qualifying Match For Elimination Chamber

Match Number 1:  Braun Strowman Vs Kane in a Last Man Standing Match, Qualifying Match For Elimination Chamber

Boy, this was a carnage, and it did not last long.  Both men started the fight during the commercial, and when we came back they took the action to the outside, all the way to the back of the arena by the announce table.  Kane was down by the table, and Braun flipped the stage over, so Kane could even answer the 10 count.  Braun wins, and we have officials check on Kane.

Corey Graves interviews Braun, and asked him what did he just do.  Braun did his job, Kurt Angle said Last Man Standing, well that is what he did.

Winner, and Advances To Elimination Chamber:  Braun Strowman in a Last Man Standing Match

Moments Ago:  Last Man Standing Match

We have no announce table, a great debut for Coach.  Kane is going to the hospital right now.

Backstage Segment:  Kane

Backstage Segment:  Braun Strowman

Kurt checks on Braun, screaming at him that he continues to put guys at danger, can’t he give him a break?  Braun tells Kurt he did what Kurt said, Last Man Standing.  Just like at Elimination Chamber, he will be the Last Man Standing, and just like at Wrestlemania, when he stands over Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania as the Last Man Standing.

In-Ring Concert:  Elias

Hello, my name is Elias, and I have one question for everyone here tonight.  Who wants to walk with Elias?  You all think he cares that we sing along?  He likes his voice.  He was disappointed that he was eliminated last night at Royal Rumble by John Cena.  But John will get what is coming to him.  But he looks at the future.  He knows that he has his own throne to sit at the Elimination Chamber, because the winner of that moves on to Wrestlemania for the WWE Universal Championship.  And WWE stands for Wrestlemania With Elias.  So he has a song for “Woken” Matt Hardy and Wrestlemania.

Whoa Whoa Whoa, it’s Elias’ night.

Match Number 2:  Elias Vs “Woken” Matt Hardy, Qualifying Match For Elimination Chamber

Well, this was an interesting match, we still don’t have an announce table, we have “Woken” Matt Hardy jabbering about something, and Bray Wyatt uses the mind to play a trick on Matt.  The lights go out, this keeps Matt unfocused, and Elias nails him with Drift Away to win the match.  We see Bray on the screen laughing.

Winner, and Advances To Elimination Chamber Match:  Elias, by pinfall

Selfie Promo:  The Miz

The Miz talks about Roman reigns is owned an Intercontinental Championship rematch tonight, so what about The Miz?  The Miz deserves rose pedals as he enters the ring, and goes right to the mic, and the world needs to just listen to him, waiting for every word he says, just like Tom Brady deserves to walk right through the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday night.

Next:  Intercontinental Championship

Match Number 3:  The Miz (WWE IC Champ) Vs Roman Reigns for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

These two had another good match.  The Miz worked on Roman’s knee, he tried to use the ring buckle again, like last week.  But the ref stopped this, and then came The Miztourage.  Reigns nails them both, but this allowed The Miz the opportunity to roll up Reigns, and pin him to retain Intercontinental Championship.

Winner, and STILL WWE IC Champ:  The Miz, by pinfall

Paul Heyman’s Response:

Tonight:  Asuka Vs Sasha Banks

Match Number 4:  The Revival Vs Heath Slater and Rhyno

The Revival picked up the win in complete dominance, chopping at Rhyno’s knee, then Shatter Machine for the win.

Winners:  The Revival, by pinfall

Charly is in the ring with The Revival, Dash talks about how they beat the first ever Smackdown Live Tag Team Champions.  So how would they compare to The Graham Brothers?  Charly is not familiar with them, and Scott said that is not surprising, because she is just like this Philly crowd.  They want to get themselves over by chanting EC-Dub, while The Revival does their homework.

Tonight:  Asuka Vs Sasha Banks

69 Days Away From Wrestlemania

2018 WWE Hall Of Fame Inductees:  The Dudley Boyz

Selfie Promo:  Finn Balor

57:38, Finn was in the Royal Rumble, and for those 57:38 he fought for the opportunity to main event Wrestlemania, until that was ruined by John Cena.  And now he gets a chance to get payback, and he won’t just step on Cena, he will step over him.

Backstage Interview:  Sasha Banks

Renee Young has Sasha, and talks about 54:37 she lasted in the Women’s Royal Rumble, and Asuka took that opportunity from her.  Asuka has been undefeated for 2 and a half years.  But tonight, it’s Sasha’s time.

Match Number 5:  Asuka vs Sasha Banks

A very good match here, back and forth action, but some vicious kicks by Asuka to Sasha Banks set the tone.  Asuka recovered from a Bank Statement, and made Sasha tap to The Asuka Lock.  They made you believe Sasha could beat that undefeated streak.

Winner:  Asuka, by submission

Selfie Promo:  John Cena

Cena tells us only 2 people are guaranteed a spot in Wrestlemania, and that is Asuka and Shinsuke Nakamura.  So everyone else is trying to figure out how we are getting to Wrestlemania, including Cena.  So tonight, he starts that path by defeating Finn Balor, and head to Elimination Chamber, so he can face the Universal Champion at Wrestlemania.  Why is it so important for him?  Because so many people have asked Cena when is he done, and he thinks it is time for Cena to say he is just getting started.

Tonight:  Cena Vs Balor in a Qualifying Match For Elimination Chamber

Next:  Titus Worldwide vs The Bar

Match Number 6:  The Bar (Raw Tag Champs) Vs Titus Worldwide for the Raw Tag Team Championship

This was a physical match here, they tried so hard, but the fans didn’t peep much.  But The Bar retained their titles, pinning Titus with the White Noise and Diving Neckbreaker combination.

Winners, and STILL Raw Tag Team Champions:  The Bar, by pinfall

Tonight:  Cena Vs Balor

Earlier Tonight:  Braun Strowman Flips The Raw Stage Over

Kane sat up in the emergency room, and began to crawl his way out of the hospital, sat up and left the hospital.

Match Number 7:  John Cena Vs Finn Balor, Qualifying Match For Elimination Chamber

In another good match tonight, Cena advanced and pinned Balor with a Super AA.  They played a story here of Cena pandering the crowd more.  Elias has a chance to eliminate Cena at Elimination Chamber.  The show ends with Cena celebrating with the Philly crowd.

Winner, and Advancing To Elimination Chamber:  John Cena,by pinfall

Kevin’s Thoughts:

This was a great weekend of wrestling, and tonight was no different.  They are building the importance tl the Chamber to get to Wrestlemania.  That opportunity is all you need.  3 very big and good matches, including Sasha Vs Asuka.  No Ronda tonight, but we didn’t need her.  So far a good start to building Wrestlemania, do you agree?  Let me know.
