In-Ring Segment:  Kurt Angle

Welcome to Monday Night Raw, tonight we will have a Raw Tag Team Title match, with The Bar defending their titles against Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose.  And that is not all, tonight after what we saw last week, we will have an Intercontinental Championship match with Roman Reigns taking on…

Jason Jordan comes out, and the crowd boos him.  He tells his dad he wants Roman Reigns, tonight.  But Jason still has his knees taped up, but Jason told him he is okay.  Ever since he has been on Raw, he has faced Roman Reigns, John  Cena, Braun Strowman, he has given everything he has, and ever since Reigns won the title he has said anyone who wants a shot, just step up.  He needs this chance, Dad.

And here comes Roman Reigns.  Kurt, I am a fighting champion, so he will tell Kurt who he is fighting, and it’s not your son.  Roman wants Samoa Joe.  While he is out here, let’s have Roman give him some advice, don’t go run to your daddy, just step up and take it.  Jason questions Roman asking to step up?  Roman is on a lot of posters, and Roman agrees with that, but he has earned those posters and has main evented many events.  So he will tell Jason again, step up and take it.  And here comes Samoa Joe.  Joe is tired of waiting, so while Roman patronizes the kid, he will accept the challenge.  But Joe is giving Roman 5 seconds to reprieve that challenge, because Reigns can’t beat Joe.  And Jason tells Joe he doesn’t have to attack people from behind, he just goes right to their face.  He knows how to get the job done.  Roman pushes Jason aside, and says his 5 seconds are done, and Jordan gives Roman a Back Suplex.  Roman tells Joe he can wait later tonight, he wants Jordan now.  Kurt, make the match.

Match Number 1:  Roman Reigns (IC Champ) Vs Jason Jordan, for the Intercontinental Championship

This was a fun match, not only did we see Jason Jordan act a bit like a heel, but they also allowed him to shine.  Roman nails a Superman Punch and a spear, pinning Jason and retaining his title.

Winner, and STILL Intercontinental Champion:  Roman Reigns, by pinfall

Joe was watching on during this match, and he suggested to Roman that the kid wore out Roman, so how about he finishes the job, and puts him to sleep.  Joe nails a Koquina Clutch, but Jason Jordan gave Joe a Suplex, and got Joe off of him, but Roman nails a Spear, to send the message he doesn’t need his help.

Tonight:  Tag Team Title Match

Next:  Sasha Banks Vs Paige

Moments Ago:  Reigns Vs Jordan

Backstage Segment:  Jason Jordan

Kurt is on the phone with Stephanie McMahon, Jordan comes out saying he has to let him get a rematch next week against Reigns, but first he has to get in the ring later tonight against Samoa Joe.  Kurt tells him he doesn’t have to do anything, Jason tells him he has to do this.  Kurt tells him he will keep it under advisement, but right now cool off.  Joe comes in and lays out Jordan, he says he wants Jordan in the ring too.

Last Week:  Absolution

Match Number 2:  Paige Vs Sasha Banks

Another long match here, and Sasha had 2 wicked spots with her head, which did not look good.  The finish came when Absolution nailed Mickie and Bayley, who came out with Sasha, and distracted Sasha long enough for Paige to nail RamPaige for the victory.  After the match, Mandy and Sonya attacked Sasha, and Alexa Bliss, who was on commentary bailed again.

Winner:  Paige, by pinfall

Backstage Segment:  Kurt Angle and Elias

Elias plays his guitar, approaching Kurt, asking him to silence his cell phone, and put it away, while he finishes up his song.  Elias is upset that Kurt gave him his title match against Roman, and that was a bad idea.  The city of angels deserves to see Elias in action, but now there isn’t a worthy opponent, so Los Angeles will just get a concert from Elias.  He tells Kurt to watch his back, his sins will catch up after he put his bastard son in the match instead.  Kurt tells Elias to go have his concert, he will find him a worthy opponent.

Tonight:  Tag Team Title Match

Next:  Strowman Vs Kane

Video:  Kane Vs Braun Strowman

Backstage Segment:  The Zo-Train

Enzo is talking about Tony Nese and Drew Gulak has an opportunity tonight.  Daivari and Noam lost their opportunities last week, because now Little Rickie Swann advanced, so now you guys have an opportunity to prove you are winners.  He is met with a smitten Nia Jax, and asks him how ya doin’?

Match Number 3:  Drew Gulak Vs Mustafa Ali Vs Tony Nese Vs Cedrick Alexander in a Fatal 4-Way To Determine Number One Contender To Cruiserweight Championship

Another fantastic match tonight, Drew Gulak stole the victory from Cedric Alexander, after 2 Lumbar Checks, and Gulak pins Ali, who earlier in the match used an awesome Spanish Fly off the top rope.  Next week, it will be Gulak Vs Swann to see who faces Enzo in 2 weeks.

Winner, and advances to Final:  Drew Gulak, by pinfall

Charly asks if this is a conflict now that he has to face Rich Swann next week, and might have to face Enzo.  Drew is about to give us his 10 Power Point comments, but Elias is next.

In-Ring Concert:  Elias

Hello, I am Elias, and I have one question for everyone here tonight….who wants to walk with Elias?  Los Angeles, a city that actually worships wasteful celebrities, Elias is bigger than celebrities.  Elias is music, Elias is inspiration, Elias is everything.  Kurt promised me some worthy opposition, but until that he has a song to sing.

Elias tells everyone in Los Angeles everyone wants to be famous, but they are all phonies.  Elias is a legend, and there is no bigger star than him.

Match Number 4:  Braun Strowman Vs Elias

Elias tries to run away, but it does not happen.  He even uses his guitar, yeah that did not work either.  The bell never rings though, so this match is thrown out.  Braun used his Running PowerSlam.  Kane shows up on the screen, saying he still is a monster, so now Braun is a monster among men, but he forgot how to be a monster.  Next week, they will find out, and go right into the abyss.

Winner:  No Contest

Earlier Tonight:  Reigns Vs Jordan

Backstage Segment:  The Shield

Reigns tells them he did his job, so now it’s your turn.  Rollins and Ambrose are ready for their match against The Bar.  New Day are in no sight, and they take care of business.  Ambrose is visualizing beating The Bar.  It smells like gold.

Next:  Asuka

Match Number 5:  Asuka Vs Alicia Fox

Foxy tried, but she taps out to the Asuka Lock.  She did get some offense in, which is more than Dana Brooke.

Winner:  Asuka, by submission

In-Ring Segment:  Absolution

They surround the ring with Asuka, with Alicia Fox in the ring, and Asuka has another thought, and she walks out.  Now Paige has something to say.  Foxy, please relax.  Paige is not here to cause trouble, because Foxy was the only one who liked her a year ago.  Foxy was her best friend, and from the bottom of her heart, Paige loves Foxy.  She just doesn’t think Sonya or Mandy feel the same way.  Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville attack Foxy.  This is Absolution.

Next:  Finn Balor

Video:  Charlotte Flair in Psyche:  The Movie

Match Number 6:  Finn Balor Vs Bo Dallas

Balor picks up the win with a Coup De Grace.  The Balor Club is happy.

Last Month:  The Bar Vs The Shield

Tonight:  Tag Team Championship

Next:  Matt Hardy Awakening?

Video:  Last Week On Raw With Matt Hardy

Video:  Bray Wyatt

Who is Matt Hardy?  I know, the universe knows.  But I don’t think HE knows.  Matt Hardy is delusional, he is lost.  We see Matt Hardy telling us he used to be known as Matthew Hardy, but now due to the dualities, he is AWOKEN!!  Bray loves this fire, this fire will not save you, his fire will burn you.  Matthew Hardy has no other choice, but to send you to DELETION.  They both laugh, this is hilarious.  Words can’t do this justice.

Next Week:  Strowman Vs Kane

Match Number 7:  The Bar (Raw Tag Champs) Vs Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose for the Raw Tag Team Championship

Rollins and Ambrose had the titles won, after a knee to the head on Cesaro, by Rollins.  But Sheamus continues to kick Rollins, and the ref had no other choice but to ring the bell.  But Kurt stops this nonsense, and restarts this match as a No DQ match.  Samoa Joe comes out to attack Rollins and Ambrose, here comes Reigns, but Joe walks out.  Sheamus uses the distraction with a Brogue Kick, Cesaro pins Ambrose for the win.  The Bar runs out with Joe, and the show ends here.

Winners, and STILL Raw Tag Team Champions:  The Bar, by pinfall

Kevin’s Thoughts:

What a show, everyone was on fire, the crowd reacted to everything.  Jason Jordan, Absolution, and “Woken” Matt Hardy were the breakout stars here.  I am anxious to see how all three develop for the coming weeks.  Reigns Vs Jordan stole the show, and Joe coming out to cost Ambrose and Rollins was a nice touch.  Ready for Raw next week in Cleveland.  What were your thoughts on the show?  Sound off here.
