In-Ring Promo:  Kurt Angle

Another promo from Kurt Angle to kick off Raw.  Welcome to Monday Night Raw.  Last week, Braun Strowman and Kane faced off to see who would face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title at Royal Rumble.  Unfortunately there wasn’t a finish, but after tonight, Kurt promises….and here comes Braun Strowman.  Kurt, I earned the opportunity to face Brock Lesnar.  Last week, Braun was the only one left standing, and that is why you should pick Braun to be Brock Lesnar’s opponent at Royal Rumble.  And here comes Kane.  Kane caused more destruction than anyone in WWE for over 20 years.  So there is nobody who should step over Kane.  Brock’s record is impressive, and while it includes his brother The Undertaker, it does not include Kane.  He will get his chance at Royal Rumble, unless Braun is man enough to stop him.

Ladies and gentlemen, you will not have any discussion without input from his client, the reigning, defending WWE Universal Champion…..BROCK LESNAR!! Brock is heading into the ring.  Before things get out of hand, Kurt Angle needs to make his announcement, at Royal Rumble, it will be a Triple Threat match with these three men for the Universal Championship.  It’s true, it’s damn true, and Kurt runs off.  Now all three men fight.    Brock nails Kane with a F-5.

Triple Threat match is set for the Royal Rumble.

Kane sits right back up, he wants some.

Next:  Seth Rollins Vs Samoa Joe

Match Number 1:  Seth Rollins Vs Samoa Joe

But wait a second, here comes Jason Jordan.  Seth, I understand I am not the guy you want to see right now.  You want Samoa Joe, I get it.  But you aren’t the only one.  Jason has been asking Kurt for a match with Joe the last two weeks.  He is done asking, he has nothing but respect for Seth.  But if you have a bone to pick with Joe, you will have to pick them when he gets done with Joe.  Seth gets where Jason is coming from, he wants to prove he can win these matches, but this isn’t the time to do this, and here comes Samoa Joe.  Isn’t this nice?  You have Joe feel like all the boys want to dance with him.  Since we have a complex situation, and he is about to solve things.  How about we have Jason Jordan Vs Seth Rollins, and the winner gets to be put to sleep by Samoa Joe.  Seth tells Joe the match has already been made, so come on out to the ring, so he can beat him down, while Jason goes back to Daddy for more approval.  Jason shoves Seth, and the match is set.

Match Number 1:  Seth Rollins Vs Jason Jordan

So the winner of this match will face Joe at a later date.  But Joe got a bit cocky, dared Seth to hit him, so Rollins shoved Jordan into Seth, nails his kick to the had, and pins Jordan.  After the match, Joe comes back to get his heat, and took out both Rollins and Jordan.

Winner:  Seth Rollins, by pinfall

Tonight:  Cedric Alexander Vs Drew Gulak

Tonight:  Absolution Vs Mickie James, Bayley, and Sasha Banks

Moments Ago:  Seth Rollins Vs Seth Rollins

Backstage Segment:  Kurt Angle, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose

Rollins and Ambrose want Joe, but so does Jason Jordan.  So Kurt makes a 6-man tag match, later tonight.  It will be Rollins, Ambrose, and Jordan Vs Joe, Cesaro and Sheamus

Video:  “Woken” Matt Hardy

Video:  Bray Wyatt

What is it that draw you to Matt Hardy?  Is it his voice?  Words he speaks?  His childish laugh?  Or maybe the funny faces he makes?  It’s all fun and game,s until someone gets hurt.  And this is where I come from, I make sure the right people get hurt.  The right people are Matt Hardy, and all of you.  So if Matt Hardy wants to continue to play chess games?  Bray wants to play.  She is sorry, but The Great War must end.  Run

Match Number 2:  Finn Balor Vs The Miztourage in a 2-On-1 Handicap Match

Well, this was a complete waste of time.  The Miztourage gets the DQ loss, with them beating down on Balor, but here comes Hideo Itami, making his WWE debut, saving Finn Balor and evening the odds.

Winner:  Finn Balor, by DQ

Match Number 3:  Finn Balor and Hideo Itami Vs The Miztourage

Balor and Hideo Itami pick up the win with a GTS, Itami pins Curtis Axel for the pinfall.

Winners:  Finn Balor and Hideo Itami, by pinfall

Tonight:  6-Women Tag Match

Tonight:  6-Man Tag Match

Backstage Interview:  Cedric Alexander

Renee Young has Cedric, and she wants to know with Enzo Amore lurking, can he overlook Drew Gulak?  Cedric wants to beat Enzo, he wants to become the new Cruiserweight Champion, and represent 205 Live.  But before he does that, he has Drew Gulak.  The only time he is overlooking him is after he pins him, and he stands on top to face Enzo Amore.

In-Ring Promo:  Enzo Amore and Drew Gulak

They are the realest peeps in the room, I guess.  Tonight, we will see a showdown with Drew “Gabba” Gulak Vs Cedric “The Entertainer” Alexander, Not So Great.  And it will be greater than any Star Wars, and since he is the Final Skywalker, and the G-Force is strong with this one, he is going to hand over the Lightsaber, here.  Drew Gulak is the “Jar Jar Binks” of the WWE, thank you.  And this is the biggest match of his career, and he owes it to his mentor, and best friend, Enzo Amore.  And to illustrate that, he will give us a Power Point presentation.  But here comes Cedric.

Match Number 4:  Cedric Alexander Vs Drew Gualk, with winner facing Enzo Amore

This was a damn good match, but Enzo doing commentary really didn’t do it justice.  Enzo received a text, and he walked away.  Drew Gulak is met with a Lumbar Check, to face Enzo Amore for the Cruiserweight Title.

Winner, and NEW Number One Contender to Cruiserweight Title:  Cedric Alexander, by pinfall

Tonight:  Absolution Vs James, Bayley, and Banks

Next:  Asuka

Backstage Segment:  Enzo and Nia

Nia was the one who sent him the DM.  She wants to continue their conversation, Drew comes over, with a bloody nose.  He apologizes for losing, but Enzo does not care.  He let Enzo down, and he let the Zo-Train down.  Nia tells Enzo another time.  Drew thinks he knows what went wrong, and Enzo tells him he did a lot of things wrong, and walks away.

Match Number 5:  Asuka Vs Alicia Fox

Alicia tried, but Asuka put the Asuka Lock on, and Alicia had no other choice but to tap out.

Winner:  Asuka, by submission

Next:  6-Man Tag Match

Match Number 6:  The Bar (Raw Tag Team Champs) and Samoa Joe Vs Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Jason Jordan

Well, this was an interesting match here.  Jason Jordan kept getting beat up, Ambrose was hurt when Rollins tried a Tope, and Dean landed on his shoulder, and Seth loses when he gets nailed by a Brogue Kick, and a kick by Cesaro.

Winners:  The Bar and Samoa Joe, by pinfall

Earlier Tonight:  Brock Lesnar, Kane, and Braun Strowman

Video:  Stephanie McMahon

Video:  Matt Hardy

The Great War is being prepared, against Bray Wyatt, and his evil Queen Sister Abigail must be stopped.  Delete!!  Delete!!  Delete!!

Moments Ago:  6-Man Tag Match

Video:  Samoa Joe

Joe, Cesaro, and Sheamus attack both Seth and Dean.  Joe rammed a roll across Dean to hurt his shoulder.

Moments Ago:  What we just saw

Match Number 7:  The Revival Vs Heath Slater and Rhyno

The Revival made their victorious return, with a win over the former SD Live Tag Team Champions.  Great to see The Revival back.

Winners:  The Revival, by pinfall

Backstage Segment:  Slater, Rhyno, and Kurt Angle

Rhyno and Slater were going over their loss, and Kurt told them that change could be a good thing, and Rhyno has an idea.

In-Ring Concert:  Elias

Elias wants to know who’s ready to run with Elias?  He dedicates this song to Roger Goodell, and then sings about Tom Brady.  And this allows Boston’s own Sasha Banks to interrupt the classic song, Elias thinks Sasha wants to sign along with him, which is hilarious.  Mickie James comes out too.  Elias usually doesn’t like help, but tonight, he is cool with it.  Bayley comes out, and Elias understands this.  Bayley wanted a hug, and I was actually thinking Elias would oblige, but he is too good for those hugs, which gets us to the main event…NOW!!

Match  Number 8:  Absolution Vs Mickie James, Bayley, and Sasha Banks

This was a good fight, but sadly that isn’t the news.  This ends in a DQ, when Absolution take out all three opponents, and the ref loses control of the match.  Then we see the entire Raw women’s locker room come out, ready for a fight again.  And when this happens, Stephanie McMahon makes her return.  She tells the ladies to settle down, talks about the Women’s Revolution, and how historic that was, showing that they can be just like any superstar who works for WWE.  We had moments like the first women’s Hell in a Cell Match, first Money in the Bank Ladder Match, and now history will be made again.  On Sunday, January 29th, at Royal Rumble, for the first time ever, we will have a Women’s Royal Rumble match.  And the show ends here, with all women, foe, or friend all celebrate together over the big news.

Winner:  Mickie James, Bayley, and Sasha Banks, by DQ

Kevin’s Thoughts:

The ending was a bit weird, and I can guarantee we will have the EXACT same segment on Smackdown Live, with the women, because that’s what they do in WWE.  I am cool with the women getting their own match, and it can be fun.  But they need to make this serious.  My guess, and this is just a guess but the winner gets to choose which champion they will face, at Wrestlemania.  Right?

Anyway, Dean Ambrose will be out for a while, he ruptured his shoulder, and might try surgery, or they could rehab it.  Either way, he can be out for awhile.  Jason Jordan was fun, as usual, in this schtick he is doing now.  No Roman Reigns though, but hopefully it was just a one night thing.  John Cena is returning next week, and Elias entered in the Royal Rumble.  What were your thoughts on the show?  Send them to me, here.
