Match Number 1:  The New Day Vs The Shield

The New Day starts with the mic, talks about true brotherhood, something The Shield doesn’t have, because The Shield will attack each other in time for Wrestlemania Season.  What a story this was in this match, all 6 men worked their asses off.  We saw a Double Big Ending turning into Double Midnight Hour, that saw a near-fall.  The end of the match has Reigns nailing a Spear on Kofi, then The Shield sets up a Triple Powerbomb, on the middle rope to pin Kofi.  The only negative here were the 5 announcers are annoying here, bickering about their brands.  It’s going to be a long night for that.  But with the matches, its off to a great start.

Winners:  The Shield, by pinfall

Backstage Segment:  Stephanie McMahon with Team Raw

Stephanie is giving the women Team Raw a pep talk here, gathering the troops, ready for a fight.

Match Number 2:  Team Raw (Alicia Fox, Sasha Banks, Asuka, Nia Jax, and Bayley) Vs Team Smackdown (Becky Lynch, Carmella, Natalya, Tamina, and Naomi) in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match

Elimination:  Becky Lynch (Raw up 5-4)

Bayley rolls up Becky, picking up the surprising pinfall.

Elimination:  Bayley (Tied 4-4)

Tamina pins Bayley with a Superfly Splash.  No more hugging for Bayley now.

Elimination:  Nia Jax (Smackdown leads 4-3)

Nia is counted out, with Tamina hitting a splash on the outside.

Elimination:  Alicia Fox (Smackdown leads 4-2)

Naomi pins Alicia Fox here.

Elimination:  Naomi (Smackdown leads 3-2)

Sasha Banks made Naomi tap out to The Bank Statement.

Elimination:  Carmella (Tied 2-2)

Asuka pins Carmella with an Asuka Kick, tying things up here.

Elimination:    Sasha Banks (Smackdown up 2-1)

Sasha taps out to Sharpshooter.  It’s now Asuka Vs Natalya and Tamina.

Elimination:  Tamina (Tied 1-1)

Tamina taps out to Asuka Lock, making it Asuka Vs Natalya.

Elimination:  Natalya

Nattie taps out to Asuka Lock, giving Raw a big edge, up 2-0 tonight.

Winner, and sole Survivor:  Asuka, and Team Raw wins.

Backstage Segment:  Stephanie McMahon and Daniel Bryan

Daniel and Steph are bickering about Raw Vs Smackdown tonight.

Match Number 3:  The Miz (IC Champ) Vs Baron Corbin (US Champ) in a Champion Vs Champion Match

Maryse was at ringside supporting her husband, The Miztourage was there for The Miz.  It wasn’t enough, Baron took care of them all, and nailed End of Days to pin The Miz.  Renee Young interviewed Corbin, he said to The Miz when his fist goes up, your mouth shuts up.  And he shut the fans up too.

Winner:  Baron Corbin, by pinfall

Backstage Interview:  Paul Heyman

Charly is with Heyman, yes AJ Styles is phenomenal, his client is the most dominant performer now, then, and forever.

Match Number 4:  The Bar (Raw Tag Champs) Vs The Usos (SD Live Tag Champs) in a Champion vs Champion Match

{Adsense-B}

The Usos tie things up in Raw Vs Smackdown brand war, pinning Sheamus with The Uso Splash.  This was a fun match, showcasing the 2 best Tag Teams in WWE.

Winners:  The Usos, by pinfall

Backstage Interview:  Jason Jordan

Jason is all Team Red, but he hopes HHH is eliminated.  He still wishes he would represent Team Raw.

Match Number 5:  Charlotte Flair (SD Women’s Champ)  Vs Alexa Bliss (Raw Women’s Champ) in a Champions Vs Champions Match

Charlotte picks up the win with Natural Selection, making Alexa tap out.  The ending was very good here, and now Smackdown is up 3-2.

Winner:  Charlotte Flair, by submission

Match Number 6:  Brock Lesnar (WWE Universal Champ) Vs AJ Styles (WWE Champ) in a Champions Vs Champions Match

This was everything we had hoped to be, a very competitive fight.  AJ hit The Phenomenal Forearm, but all it takes is a F-5.  Big-fight feel match, and they delivered.  It’s now tied at 3-3, heading to the final match.

Winner:  Brock Lesnar, by pinfall

Match Number 7:  Team Raw (Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Finn Balor, Braun Strowman, HHH) Vs Team Smackdown (Shane McMahon, Bobby Roode, Randy Orton, Shinsuke Nakamura, and John Cena) In a Tradional Survivor Series

Elimination:  Shinsuke Nakamura (Raw leads 5-4)

Braun pinned Nakamura with his Running Powerslam.

Elimination:  Bobby Roode (Raw leads 5-3)

Braun nails a Running Powerslam, but now a fight breaks out.

Elimination:  Samoa Joe (Raw leads 4-3)

Joe was eliminated by Cena with an AA.

Elimination:  John Cena (Raw leads 4-2)

Balor nails a Coup De Grace, and Angle nails an Angle Slam.

Elimination:  Finn Balor (Raw leads 3-2)

RKO by Orton, pinning Balor.

Elimination:  Randy Orton (Raw leads 3-1)

Owens and Zayn come out of nowhere to go after Shane, taking him out.  Orton nails a RKO on Owens, but Braun takes out Orton with a Running Powerslam.

Elimination:  Kurt Angle (Raw leads 2-1)

HHH turns on Kurt, and gives him a Pedigree, Shane covers him.

Elimination:  Shane McMahon

HHH then gives Shane a Pedigree, and pins him.  This confuses Braun.  HHH takes all of the glory though, and Braun just stands there. When HHH raises Braun’s hand, Strowman hits HHH with a Chokeslam.  He tells HHH to never double cross him, or The Game will be over.  HHH tries to Pedigree Braun, but he turns it into a Running Powerslam.  HHH tries another Pedigree, but Braun nails another Powerslam, ending the show.

Winners:  Team Raw

Kevin’s Thoughts:

This was a good show, everything seemed to click, except the bickering with announcers, but the big stars tonight in Survivor Series matches were Asuka and Braun Strowman.  If there is any doubt, Braun is being booked as a babyface now.  That could be our Wrestlemania match.  But we will probably get Angle Vs HHH at Royal Rumble, with Jason Jordan turning heel.  Just a thought about that.

The first match set the tone for everything, and I truly enjoyed Styles Vs Brock too.  Where we go from here is anyone’s guess, but this feels like The Road to Wrestlemania is going to be starting early too.  What were your thoughts on the show?  Let me know, and I will talk to you tomorrow for Raw.

WWE Survivor Series Kick-Off Show

Commentators:  Renee Young, Jerry “The King” Lawler, Peter Rosenberg, and Shawn Michaels

You have legends in the traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series match with future stars.  This has a big-fight feel.

Video:  The New Day Vs The Shield

I can’t wait to see this match, tonight.  Shawn Michaels bringing up this feels like Us Vs Them.  You would rather want to be a part of the winning team.  New Day has grown as a team the last year, so this could be a pick ’em fight.

Social Media Lounge:

Charly Caruso is in the Social Media Lounge, and we have tonight’s guest being The Miz, so we can ask him questions.

Sam Roberts:

Sam is outside of the building, talking about tonight’s Survivor Series.

Survivor Series Kick-Off Match:  Cruiserweight Title Match:  Enzo Amore Vs Kalisto

Shane McMahon named Natalya as the 5th woman for tonight’s Women’s Traditional Survivor Series Match

Video:  Smackdown Vs Raw….#UnderSiege

Video:  Last Week on Smackdown Live #UnderSiege

Backstage Segment:  Women’s Team Smackdown

Oh boy, already Natalya and Becky are already bickering.  They all have the credentials to defeat Team Raw.  All on the same page now.

Tonight:  “The Goddess” Alexa Bliss Vs “The Queen” Charlotte Flair

Video:  Charlotte Flair Vs Natalya

Alexa Bliss joins the panel, she is not impressed by Charlotte winning the Smackdown Women’s Title, she will still defeat Charlotte.  Charlotte is on the video screen, facing off with Alexa Bliss.  Charlotte doesn’t wake up in the morning, trying to dress up like a superhero, she is a Flair, and an Ironwoman.  Alexa might have been the champion first, but Charlotte is a grand slam champion.  Just remember, there was a queen before a goddess, and she will defeat Alexa, to prove she is the better champion.  She dares Alexa to beat her, and prove her wrong.  Alexa was beaten everyone in the Four Horsewomen, so Charlotte is next.

In-Ring Concert:  Elias

Hello, I am Elias, and he has one question for Houston, who wants to walk with Elias?  Can you feel the tension in the air?  It’s Survivor Series, one night of the year where Raw takes on Smackdown.  You can wear your red, you can wear your blue, but when the smoke clear, you have one question, what would Elias do?  He wouldn’t come to Houston on his own.  So you need to silence your cell phones, and shut your mouths.  Elias has a song for us, and Houston is not amused.

Survivor Series Kick-Off Match Number 1:  Matt Hardy Vs Elias

This was a solid match for Elias, and he pins the veteran Matt Hardy with Drift Away.  Matt came out, teasing “Broken” Matt Hardy, just don’t think WWE can do it justice for Matt, if it is ever done again.

Winner:  Elias, by pinfall

Next:  Social Media Lounge

Social Media Lounge:  The Miz

There has been a war of words through Social Media with Corbin and The Miz, but The Miz says the time for talking is done, and his talking will be in the ring, which is where he has excelled for the last 12 years.  He is focused tonight, and when you bring up his wife, he will beat Baron Corbin’s ass.  The first question is how Team Raw would respond if Miz loses?  There is no such thing as losing to The Miz, so that is out of the question.  Does The Miz feel more pressure?  Nobody goes through pressure more than The Miz.  There is a reason why he has done this for 12 years.  Tonight’s main event isn’t Brock Vs AJ, or Survivor Series match, it will be The Miz Vs Baron Corbin.  Is The Miz confident in Team Raw tonight?  The Miz says any show The Miz is in on the A-Show, so he knows Team Raw will take care of business, and The Miz is the man who revolves around Raw.

Survivor Series Kick-Off Show Match Number 2:  Enzo Amore (Cruiserweight Champ) Vs Kalisto, for the Cruiserweight Championship

Enzo retains his title with a Jawdenzo, beating Kalisto for the 3rd time.  I have to think Kalisto is done with the title chances for a bit.  Moving on.

Winner, and STILL WWE Cruiserweight Champion:  Enzo Amore, by pinfall

Sam Roberts:

Sam is in the crowd, jabbering about something.  Moving on.

Video:  Smackdown Vs Raw Survivor Series Match

Who is going to win this match, tonight?

In-Ring Promo:  Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn

They didn’t come to WWE to compete in the ring against two clowns like Breezango.  Sami said this is an insult to the 2 very best on Smackdown.  Owens tells us this is the building where Owens won his first Intercontinental Title, and the time he won the Universal Championship.  And those weren’t the fans moment, this was his.  They could be a part of Team Smackdown, but this is all Shane McMahon’s doing.  Sami was concerned for his own well-being last week, when team Raw came out, and attacked everyone.  But they did the right thing, by escaping out of harm’s way, and be involved in a sibling rivalry, that just was not their fight.  And tonight….

Breezango come out, Tyler saying they received a tip that 2 people were harassing the audience, with stench facial hair.  A local Houston cop has a tip that they will take care of these 2 crooks, and they will be rewarded handsomely.  Here are your tickets.

Survivor Series Kick-Off Show Match Number 3:  Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn Vs Breezango

Owens and Sami pick up the win when Owens nails Breeze with a Pop-Up Powerbomb.  Cementing their win.

Winners:  Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, by pinfall

Backstage Interview:  AJ Styles

Kayla Braxton has AJ Styles, he talks about how he is the underdog, but he has to do whatever he can to win, and see if he can survive.  Jinder Mahal shows up, smiles, and walks away.

Video:  Brock Lesnar Vs AJ Styles

We are ready for Survivor Series, it begins….now.
