In-Ring Promo:  Seattle’s Own Daniel Bryan

Daniel gets a big ovation as Seattle’s own begins the show.  It is great to be home.  Tonight, we have a very special edition of Smackdown Live.  We will have a 6-women tag team match of Natalya, Tamina, and Lana taking on Naomi, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair.  We also have a very special announcement from our WWE Champion, Jinder Mahal.  And we have a rematch from Hell in a Cell of Dolph Ziggler Vs Bobby Roode.  But speaking of Hell in a Cell, there is someone Daniel wants to address.  His actions at Hell in a Cell disappointed him.  He is talking about Sami Zayn.  When he first became GM of Smackdown Live, he wanted Sami Zayn.  And we get Sami here now.  After everything you did Sami, you come out smiling, and dancing around.  Is this the real Sami Zayn he has known for 13 years?  What is the difference?  He is still a great guy, all he did was take his career back, a career he built 15 years on.  Does that make him a bad guy?  Sami gets some of THESE people think he is a bad guy, but he thought Daniel of all people would understand.  Daniel has been in Sami’s shoes, but Sami said there are quite a few differences.  They both are gifted athletes, well Sami still is.  And management doesn’t believe in them, but Daniel, the difference is he had the fans.  They are the creators of Yes Movement, and they are the reason he main evented Wrestlemania.  But they did not hold their end of the agreement.  They cheer for Sami, but they were supposed to put Sami in the same position as Daniel, but it never got done.  But Sami doesn’t care anymore, and it feels amazing.  And if Daniel did what Sami had done, he would be smiling too.  If he had worked a little smarter, instead of a little harder, Daniel would not have retired in this very building.  It broke Sami’s heart more than it broke the fans.  In Sami’s opinion, Daniel was the best performer of their generation.  And Sami would try to get to Daniel’s level, but Daniel would gain 2 steps further, but now, Daniel is the last person Sami wants to be.  He went from a one-in-a-generation superstar, to just a housewife.  Enter Kevin Owens.

Kevin is so happy for Sami, that he has seen the light and finally listened to what Kevin had told him all along.  He wants to clarify a few things here, Daniel was a pathetic martyr, he was once a housewife, he has become Mr. Bella.  But now Daniel has become something he hated so long, he became a hypocrite.  Daniel tells Kevin he doesn’t care about Sami, he only cares about himself.  And Daniel wants to do what is best for the fans.  Kevin corrects Daniel that he really means he does what is best for business, and now Daniel Bryan is The Authority.  Sami tells Kevin he is right again, Daniel has become something he was once against, and there is only one word to describe Daniel….sell-out.  Thank you Kevin for opening Sami’s eyes.  This could have been him, and Kevin saved him from that.  They share a hug.  Daniel walks away, and Kevin asks him what is he doing?  Walking out is the best thing Daniel has done these days.  Where is Daniel going?  Daniel will find a couple of dudes to punch them in the face.

Jinder talks about going to India last week, he was given a true hero’s welcome.  5-star hotels, the finest restaurant, and dining with the biggest Bollywood celebrities.  He ran into a little boy, and he asked what is next.  He has beaten Randy Orton many times, he has beaten Shinsuke Nakamura many times, he has beaten Smackdown Live’s best superstars.  So what is your next challenge?  He must beat the most dominant force in WWE, so at Survivor Series, Jinder is challenging “The Beast” Brock Lesnar.  And he wants all of us to kiss his feet when he proves The Beast can be slayed, to bow down to “The Modern Day Maharaja” , he is the greatest WWE Champion of all-time.

Enter AJ Styles.

Did AJ hear Jinder correctly?  Yes you did.  Jinder will beat Brock Lesnar, and AJ doesn’t care about that, he said he has beaten every superstar Smackdown Live, except he hasn’t faced AJ Styles.  Jinder calls AJ a loser, he is the WWE Champion.  So AJ is a loser?  Then he has no problem facing him in the ring.  They aren’t in Jinder’s country, are they?  Jinder thinks AJ is at the back of the line, and is not worthy of a title shot.  The fact AJ is challenging him is an absolute joke, don’t you know who I am?  AJ fights Jinder, and nails a Pele Kick.

Next:  Ziggler Vs Roode

Backstage Segment:  Daniel Bryan and Jinder Mahal

Jinder told Daniel AJ disrespected him, and asked Daniel what is he going to do about it?  Daniel asked him what is he going to do about it?  Next week, AJ will face one of the Singh Brothers, and fight in honor of Jinder Mahal.  Okay.

Match Number 3:  Bobby Roode Vs Dolph Ziggler

Ziggler wins this time, holding on to the tights, after rolling Roode.  The same result at Hell in a Cell, just different ending.

Winner:  Dolph Ziggler, by pinfall

Next:  Orton and Nakamura Vs Owens and Zayn

Next Week:  Brock Lesnar Will Be There

Backstage Segment:  Rusev, New Day, and Aidan English

Aidan is singing, and some stage hands are on the phone.  Very disrespectful.  If he is not to their musical standards, then who are?  New Day.  Rusev shows up and say no more New Day, it’s Rusev Day.  Okay, time to celebrate.  Rusev is not amused.

Match Number 4:  Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura Vs Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn

A great main event here, with Owens distracting the ref, when Sami nails a low blow on Orton, and nails a Helluva Kick for the pinfall on Randy Orton.  Sami and Owens are best friends, and it’s GLORIOUS.

Winners:  Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, by pinfall

Backstage Segment:  KO, Sami, and Daniel Bryan

The two best friends are gloating over their win, they just beat the two biggest superstars on Smackdown Live.  So what is next?  Lumberjack Match?  Viagra On a Pole Match?  Daniel Bryan says it’s not up to him, it will be up to Shane McMahon.  So Shane returns next week, and we see Orton and Shinsuke looking in disbelief, and Owens comes back with Sami.  Owens tells us they just beat them, and there is nothing they can do about it.  His name is Kevin Owens, and this is Sami Zayn, they are best friends.  The show ends here.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

This was a great show, and Sami needed the pin, to get his heel turn going.  To say Sami Zayn pinned Randy Orton is just mind-boggling.  The crowd stayed hot throughout the night too, and it looks like next week’s Smackdown might be shaping up to be another big episode.  I am guessing too Jinder Vs Lesnar will be a 3 minute squash, right?  Right?  Let me know your thoughts of the show.
