Match Number 1:  The Miz (IC Champ) Vs Jason Jordan for the Intercontinental Championship

The numbers game took over, when Axel and Bo distracted the ref, after a low blow and Skull Crushing Finale.  The Miz is still your IC Champion.

Winner, and STILL IC Champion:  The Miz, by pinfall

In-Ring Interview:  Jason Jordan

Jason is disappointed, but he knows he can beat him.  He’d love to get another shot.  The crowd keeps booing, and he tells the fans they chant that Kurt Angle sucks?  Well The Miz really does suck.

Match Number 2:  Bray Wyatt Vs Finn Balor in a Man Vs Man Match

Bray attacks Balor from behind before the bell starts.  Finn hurt his ribs, and he was being checked on by officials, with Bray telling Finn he is scared, and he isn’t even a real man.  This sends Finn back to fight Bray, and the bell is rung.  Bray picks up the win with a Coup De Grace, earning the win over Bray.

Winner:  Finn Balor, by pinfall

Backstage Interview:  The Bar

Charly is with the challengers, tonight they will show how a real team works.  They are in-sync together, while Ambrose and Rollins are not.  They are The Bar.

Match Number 3:  Ambrose and Rollins (Raw Tag Champs) Vs The Bar for the Raw Tag Team Championship)

The Tag Champs retain, after Cesaro missed a discuss punch, and nails Sheamus.  Rollins and Ambrose use Kings Landing and Dirty Deeds for the win.

Winners, and STILL Raw Tag Team Champions:  Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, by pinfall

Match Number 4:  Alexa Bliss (Raw Women’s Champ) Vs Emma Vs Bayley Vs Sasha Banks Vs Nia Jax, for the Raw Women’s Championship in a Fatal 5-Way Match

This was a hard fought battle, but Alexa showed us she will do anything to retain.  All 5 women fought hard, and the 4 women worked together to eliminate Nia.  Alexa nails a DDT, to pin Bayley and keep her title.

Winners, and STILL Raw Women’s Champion:  Alexa Bliss, by pinfall

In-Ring Promo:  Alexa Bliss

Renee Young talks with Alexa, she proved herself she is the best Women’s Champion.

Match Number 5 John Cena Vs Roman Reigns

By far the match of the night here.  It started slow, but there a reason, despite the crowd chanting boring.  But action picked up, when Cena uncovered both tables, and Reigns nails a spear through the table.  But Cena recovered, hit 4 AA’s in a span of 5 minutes, and Reigns kicked out 2 times.  After the second time, Cena was in disbelief, and this is when Reigns nails a Superman Punch, then nails a spear, to pin Cena.  After the match, Cena raises Reigns arm, and then gave him a message.  A great match here.

Winner:  Roman Reigns, by pinfall

Cena received the big ovation and “Thank You Cena” chants, it seems like he is taking more time off, and won’t be at tomorrow’s show.

Backstage Segment:  Kurt Angle and The Miz

Kurt is on the phone again, with The Miz interrupting things.  The Miz understands why Kurt is disappointed, since his kid disappointed him, yet again.  But he is here to offer an idea for tomorrow night’s Raw.  Roman Reigns just beat John Cena, and that is like Reigns retiring The Undertaker.  So he wants a special edition of Miz TV, with Reigns as his guest, he wants to ask the hard-hitting questions.  Kurt actually likes that idea, and it will kick off Raw tomorrow night.

Match Number 6:  Neville (WWE Cruiserweight Champ) Vs Enzo Amore for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

I forgot this match was taking place, and I could have done without it.  Neville had Enzo beat with a countout, but Enzo had Neville’s Cruiserweight Title, and this had Neville send after him, when the two got back in the ring.  Enzo was ready to hit him, but the ref grabs the title, and Enzo nails a low blow, followed by a rolling him up for the pin.  Yup, Enzo has a title.

Winner, and NEW Cruiserweight Champion:  Enzo Amore, by pinfall

Match Number 7:  Brock Lesnar (WWE Universal Champ) Vs Braun Strowman, for the WWE Universal Championship

The match started fast and furious, with Strowman taking over, the highlight was when Strowman got right back up after a trip to Suplex City.  Strowman was on fire, but Brock nails a F-5, and pins him.  This was a 10 minute fight.

Winner, and STILL Universal Champion:  Brock Lesnar, by pinfall

Kevin’s Thoughts:

I loved Cena Vs Reigns, such a big match, it should have been at Wrestlemania.  But it felt like a Wrestlemania match, and it turned out to be the best match.  I also liked Strowman vs Lesnar, and while Braun lost, he looked very good doing it.  Fatal 5-Way was very good too, and IC Title match delivered.  I just hated the Cruiserweight Title match, I hated where it was placed, and the ending sucked too.  But Raw starts with Miz TV, with Reigns being on the show.  That could be the start of something big, we will see.  What were your full thoughts on the show?  Send them to me, I will talk to you tomorrow night.

WWE No Mercy Kick-Off Show

Sunday, September 24th, 2017

Commentators:  Renee Young, David Otunga, Sam Roberts, and Jerry “The King” Lawler

Social Media Lounge:  Alexa Bliss

Charly Caruso is telling us the Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss is our guest, talking about her upcoming Fatal 5-Way match.

Backstage Promo:  Braun Strowman

Braun tells Brock Lesnar tonight is the night, he slammed him last month at Summerslam, and his biggest mistake was to get back up.  Tonight, that won’t happen, and he will put his foot on Brock, holding the Universal Championship.

Video:  John Cena Vs Roman Reigns

Special Guest:  Kurt Angle

Kurt joins the panel to preview Reigns Vs Cena.  We will find out whose WWE this is.  Is Roman Reigns the next “John Cena”?  John knows deep down Kurt said that Roman is there for the taking, and Cena can’t admit it quite yet.  The Miz interrupts this, asking what are they talking about?  Cena vs Reigns?  Lesnar Vs Strowman?  Kurt needs to focus on The Miz, because he always makes his matches “Wrestlemania worthy”.  Kurt wishes Miz luck on his match tonight against Jason.  Miz tells Kurt he wasn’t there for Jason’s first T-Ball game, or his first Football game.  But tonight, he is there for Jason’s first title match, and he can give him a kleenex, and tell him to blow his nose.  King intervenes, and this reminds him of when he made fun of Bret “The Hitman” Hart’s parents, and it gave Bret that extra motivation, and King paid for it.  Miz tells Jerry he isn’t The Miz, and he will show the world how important the IC Title is.

Tonight:  Finn Balor Vs Bray Wyatt

Backstage Interview:  Finn Balor

Renee asks Finn how does it feel to face Bray tonight as a man.  Finn tells her he created “The Demon” and it does not control him.  So tonight, he shows that he is an extraordinary man, doing an extraordinary thing.

Tonight:  Ambrose and Rollins Vs The Bar for the Raw Tag Team Championship

Tonight:  Neville Vs Enzo Amore for WWE Cruiserweight Championship

Backstage Interview:  Neville

That new interview guy (I can’t remember the name) has Neville as his guest, he tells us this won’t be a classic wrestling match, this will be very quick.  Because Enzo isn’t even in the league of the Cruiserweight Division.  He’s a superstar, but he isn’t an elite athlete.  Enzo may be laughing over kicking him in the nuts, but Neville will get the last laugh when Neville rearranges Enzo’s face.

Who wins tonight?  Enzo or Neville?

Next:  Social Media Lounge

Coming Soon:  Asuka

Social Media Lounge:  Alexa Bliss

Asuka makes her WWE debut at TLC, on October 22nd.  Alexa shares her view on Asuka, it’s great to get more competition.  But this is where the elite is at, and Asuka will see that.  She is ready for her Fatal 5-Way match.  How is she preparing for her match tonight?  She has to be in the ring at all times, watching what is going on.  Because she can lose her title without being pinned.  She won’t marry a dude that asked her on Twitter, it’s tacky.  And she shares that Nia Jax has a weakness, and it will be exposed tonight, because she is not willing to do what it takes to win, Alexa will.

Tonight:  Fatal 5-Way for Raw Women’s Championship

No Mercy Kick-Off Show Match Number 1:  Elias Vs Apollo Crews

Elias gives us a glorious concert before the match, so here we go.  Elias told us Apollo Crews does what he does best, lose.  And this continues, with Elias hitting Drift Away to pin Apollo.  After the match, Elias kicks Crews a bit, before Titus comes in to save Apollo.

Winner:  Elias, by pinfall

Video:  Strowman Vs Lesnar

My connection went off for a moment, but I think Brock spoke, or maybe Heyman.  No Mercy begins, now.
