Match Number 1:  John Cena Vs Jason Jordan

They played this up as 15 years ago, Cena faced Jordan’s father on Smackdown, and Angle put Cena on the map.  I have to say, if this was a way to put Jason on the map, I hope it worked.  Fun match here between the two, and Jordan was over during this match with the fans.  “Big Match John” defeats Jordan with AA.  After the match, Cena raised Jason’s hand, and both men showed respect.  And now here comes Reigns, when we go to a commercial break.

Winner:  John Cena, by pinfall

In-Ring Promo:  John Cena and Roman Reigns

Reigns has one question for John.  If you are what you say you are, why does it take a 16-time WWE Champ over 20 minutes to beat a rookie.  The fact is if you’re as good as you say you are, you’d beat him from the get go.  But then you made the fans think he has a shot, then you squash him.  Or you’re not as good as you are, and you’re a lying, a fake ass little bitch, which one are you?  Cena would say he is happy to see him, but he can’t stand his disgusting face.  You’re trying to think, which isn’t your strong suit.  You will get the answers to this question at No Mercy.  Because at No Mercy, you will be beat by either a guy who has lost a step, or a guy who has strung you along for years.  Because he can be a guy waiting for you to make a mistake, then you will be craved out.  Guys like Jason Jordan, Chad Gable, and even The Miz, who he despises, he carves out anything to get where he is at every single week, he respects that.  But he doesn’t respect Reigns.  Roman Reigns is a liar himself.  He comes out here week after week saying this is his yard, they don’t agree.  You come out and say he’s THE GUY, and they don’t agree with him.  Does he have to beat your ass to prove a point?  Okay, now we are getting somewhere, so come on John.  DO IT, does Omaha want to see Cena beat his ass?  The crowd loves it, and he dares Cena to do it, John just stands there, and Reigns knew he can’t do it, and this is why John Cena, Roman Reigns doesn’t respect you.

Tonight:  Braun Strowman Vs The Big Show in a Steel Cage

Tonight:  Jeff Hardy Vs The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship

Match Number 2:  Cesaro and Sheamus Vs Heath Slater and Rhyno

The Tag Team champs joined us with commentary, the former Tag Champs picks up the win with Sheamus winning with Brogue Kick, pinning Rhyno.

Winners:  The Bar, by pinfall

Backstage Interview:  The Hardy Boyz

Renee Young is with Jeff Hardy, Jeff talks about this being a rebirth for The Hardy Boyz, and tonight, it’s not about age, it’s about ability.  He is proud to teach his daughter, no matter how hard it takes, you never give up, and tonight she can see her daddy win the IC Title, once again.  And Matt gives us his awesome bits, YEEEESSSSS!!  Miztourage may run into a little bit of Twist of Fate.

Next:  The Miz Vs Jeff Hardy for IC Title

Match Number 3:  The Miz (IC Champ) Vs Jeff Hardy, for the WWE Intercontinental Title

This was a fantastic job, and they put over the work rate of The Miz in this match, he is currently 4th all-time as IC Champ for over 450 days, combined.  They sent The Miztourage and Matt Hardy out of ringside, so Miz was by himself against Jeff Hardy, except Maryse.  And The Miz’s wife tripped Jeff Hardy, who was trying to nail a Swanton, and The Miz hits a Skull Crushing Finale, with the pinfall, to keep his IC Title.

Winner, and STILL IC Champion:  Jeff Hardy, by pinfall

Last Week:  Alexa Bliss Vs Sasha Banks

No Mercy:  Alexa Bliss Vs Sasha Bliss

Backstage Segment:  Kurt Angle and Nia Jax

Nia demands why Kurt gave Sasha another rematch, after what she did to Alexa last week.  Kurt explains that Sasha has a rematch clause, so this is why.  Nia tells Kurt she deserves a title shot, and we have Emma telling us social media is talking about Emma (No we aren’t), and Kurt informs them both tonight, we will have Emma and Nia team up to face Sasha and Alexa, and if Nia and Emma wins, there will be a Fatal 4-Way for the Women’s Title at No Mercy.

Tonight:  Braun Strowman Vs Big Show Inside A Steel Cage

Video:  Braun Strowman Vs Big Show in April

Match Number 4:  Enzo Amore, Gran Metallik, and Cedrick Alexander Vs Tony Nese, Drew Gulak, and Noam Dur

Enzo seems to be turning heel here, last week he used the ropes for leverage on a win.  Tonight?  He poked Drew in the eye, and nails Eat Defeat, for the win.

Winners:  Enzo Amore, Gran Metallik, and Cedrick Alexander, by pinfall

Backstage Segment:  Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks

Alexa is trying to get on the same page with Sasha Banks.  Sasha tells Alexa she needs her to be her partner, so she has a better shot of retaining her title.  Alexa tells Sasha to check her ego at the door, she lost last week, get over it.  Sasha screams at Alexa that they will win tonight, but at No Mercy, Sasha will make Alexa scream by tapping out.

Next:  Finn Balor

In-Ring Promo:  Finn Balor

Omaha, Nebraska is Balor Club.  2 Sweet, and you know, the NXT Championship looked good around this waist.  The Universal Championship looked good around this waist.  And The Intercontinental Championship would have looked good around this waist, if it hadn’t been for Bray Wyatt.  Even though he beat Bray at Summerslam, you can’t really end things with him.  So next time he comes out, Finn will be ready for him.  Finn is good with his faith, but sometimes he faces his demons, and becomes one.  Bray interrupts, he talks about when he was a kid, he’d go hunting rabbits, and when he became bored using a bow and arrow, he’d use his own hands, becoming judge, jury, and executioner.  He sealed their fate, so now he brings up Balor did not beat him at Summerslam, “The Demon” did, so now you have to make your choice.  Your destiny, and Finn chooses himself, he is Finn Balor.  And Bray says the hero made his choice, so now run rabbit.  Run.

Match Number 5:  Alexa Bliss (Raw Women’s Champ) and Sasha Banks Vs Nia Jax and Emma

In another good match here, Emma and Nia picks up the win when Emma tags in Nia, after a Leg Drop from Nia, and Emma pins Sasha Banks.  So now we have a Fatal 4-Way match for the Women’s Title.

Winners:  Emma and Nia Jax, by pinfall

Backstage Interview:  Braun Strowman

Renee Young has Braun Strowman, he is thinking what Kurt Angle was thinking, putting Braun into a steel cage match for the first time before his WWE Title shot.  The last time they faced each other, they went through the ring, so what will happen with steel surrounding the ring?  He is sending The Big Show a message.  He is sending Kurt Angle a message, and will be sending Brock Lesnar a message, and that is nobody can stop him, not even a steel cage.

Next:  Tag Team Champs in Action

Match Number 6:  Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins (Raw Tag Champs) Vs Gallows and Anderson in a non-title match

The Bar comes out to scout the match, and they actually cost Gallows and Anderson the match, when Seth uses that to his advantage, and runs Anderson right into Sheamus and rolls him up for the win.  After the match, Gallows and Anderson turn on The Bar, but the challengers reverse the fortune, and take care of Gallows and Anderson

Winners:  Ambrose and Rollins, by pinfall

Video:  September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month

Next:  Steel Cage Match

Earlier Tonight:  Cruiserweight Tag Match

Backstage Segment:  Enzo, Cedrick, and Gran Metallik

The three are celebrating tonight, and Neville shows up.  He mocks the win celebration.  Neville tells them they have qualified for the Fatal 5-Way tomorrow night on 205 Live.  The winner will face Neville at No Mercy for the Cruiserweight Title.  Friends tonight, foes tomorrow.

Backstage Interview:  John Kohn

Charly is with tonight’s ref, who was there in April when the ring had erupted, and it could happen tonight.  You never know what to expect, and he will just stand out-of-the-way.

Backstage Interview:  The Big Show

Show admits he has never faced someone like Braun Strowman, but then again he has been in more steel cage matches than Braun Strowman has had matches.  He is going to take care of things tonight, but Braun does not respect him, he is the kind of guy that believes he should get his, without earning it.  Braun stated on social media that he is going to take Big Show out of his pasture.  Well, he wants to remind Braun he is The Big Show, there has never been anyone that took him out of his pasture, and the only way you do it is if you kill him.

Match Number 7:  Braun Strowman Vs The Big Show in a Steel Cage Match

What a fun match this was.  Big Show dropped en elbow off the top rope, they teased the ring to break down again, when Braun did a Superplex off the top rope.  But Braun picks up the win with a Running Powerslam, for the win.

Winner:  Braun Strowman, by pinfall

Braun grabs the mic, and says this is what he did to a so-called “Giant”, what do you think will happen to “The Beast”?  Laying on the mat is Brock’s future, his future is to win the Universal Championship.  Braun starts to walk out, but he turns around and sees a worn out Show.  He tells him it’s time to go to the pasture, old man, and he picks him up, throws him through the steel cage.  Strowman is ready for No Mercy, as we end the show here.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

This was a good show, from beginning to end.  I loved Cena Vs Jordan, Hardy Vs Miz, and our main event.  Those 3 stood out to me.  They really put The Miz over huge here, as someone building his own legacy, even Cena put him over.  Decent mic work from Reigns and Cena too, with Roman having the final say.  And the main event was awesome, with Big Show, in his mid 40’s, go toe to toe with one of the best big men in the business today, Braun Strowman.  What were your thoughts on the show?  Sound off here.
