In-Ring Promo: The Miztourage
The Miz is about to speak, but Kurt Angle interrupts. Kurt tells The Miz that he feels diminished that his Intercontinental Championship was not defended at Summerslam. But it will be at No Mercy, and his opponent is….
The Miz talks about it is a disrespect when he interrupts The Miz. It’s something that wouldn’t happen to the Universal Champion, and The Miz deserves that much respect. Kurt tells Miz he will defend his IC Title next week, and it will be the winner of this first match, a Battle Royal to determine who faces The Miz, next week.
Match Number 1: 15-Man Battle Royal, Winner Faces The Miz Next Week For IC Title
The Final 6 are Finn Balor, Jason Jordan, Jeff Hardy, Elias, and The Miztourage. Bray Wyatt shows up from nowhere to eliminate Balor, after a fun encounter between Hardy and Balor. Now we are down to 5. Jordan eliminates both members of The Miztourage. Jason eliminates Elias, and Hardy eliminates Jordan, that fast. So next week, it’s Hardy Vs The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship.
Winner, and NEW Number One Contender To IC Title: Jeff Hardy
Last Monday: Braun Strowman Vs Brock Lesnar
Tonight: Brock Lesnar Is Here
Next: Enzo Amore’s First Cruiserweight Match
Backstage Interview: Alexa Bliss
Charly is with tonight’s challenger to the Woman’s Title. Alexa said history will repeat itself tonight, as Sasha will once again lose a title match, after she won the title. So she hopes Sasha had fun playing “Champion” this week, because the fans will embrace “The Goddess” taking her championship back.
In-Ring Promo: Enzo Amore
Enzo reminds us what happened to a certain 7 footer after picking on a guy like him. Gruesome action is shown with Big Cass blowing out his ACL, he will be out for months. Enzo can compete with 7-feet giants, but after last Tuesday, Enzo can compete with the high-flying, Cruiserweights. Now he can kill 2 birds with a rolling stone. He can do it all, he makes a reference about Floyd Mayweather beating Conor McGregor, but he brings out his opponent.
Match Number 2: Enzo Amore Vs Noam Dar
Enzo picks up the win with Eat Defeat. Noam seemed to be bored though, he did what he had to do.
Winner: Enzo Amore, by pinfall
Backstage Interview: Neville
Charly asks Neville what his thoughts are on Neville. If that weasle is supposed to be competition for Neville, then he will be Cruiserweight Champion, forever, and ever. How ya Doin’?
Next: Brock Lesnar
In-Ring Promo: Brock Lesnar
Well, Here Comes The Pain!!
Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman. And I serve as The Advocate for the reigning, defending, undisputed Universal Champion, BROCK LESNAR!! If you thought we would come out here, and sign the blues in Memphis. Especially about Braun Strowman. They are not here to sing the blues about Braun, they are here to sing the praises of Braun Strowman. He is the one who most deserve a title shot in WWE. Summerslam, a historic night for Brock Lesnar. A historic night for Braun Strowman. Braun scooped Brock Lesnar up, and put him through a table. And then with the help of no other contender, and by the way, Brock retained the title. Braun took Brock up on his shoulder, and powerslammed him through the announce table. Braun Strowman asserted himself, just like last Monday on Monday Night Raw. Braun confronted Brock, and see what he did. Now to the kids watching at home, asking if there really are monsters, Heyman doesn’t believe in them, but he may have seen one in Braun Strowman.
We see video footage of what Braun did last week. First of all, you raise that title when you’re monster enough to take that title from Brock Lesnar. Let’s put all of our cards on the table. Sunday, September 24th, live on PPV. Braun Strowman will get his shot at the Universal Title, on a show they are called No Mercy. Now did you think Brock would duck you? Brock Lesnar ducks nobody. Now, you would have to ask yourself if Brock is going to hunt you? Yes he will, because Brock Lesnar wants you.
Brock takes the mic, and says what Heyman is trying to say is Suplex City, bitch.
Tonight: Women’s Championship
Tonight: Cena and Reigns Make Their No Mercy Match Official
Match Number 3: Seth Rollins (Raw Tag Team Champ) Vs Cesaro
With a little help from Sheamus, Cesaro picks up the win with an Uppercut, then holding the tights for the win.
Winner: Cesaro, by pinfall
Sheamus tells us that before the evening is over with, it’s now Sheamus Vs Ambrose.
Match Number 4: Dean Ambrose (Raw Tag Champ) Vs Sheamus
Cesaro tries to help Sheamus, but Rollins counters this, and kicks Sheamus in the head, when Sheamus set up White Noise for Dean. Seth then did a flying tope on Cesaro outside the ring….Dirty Deeds….BAM!! Match is done.
Winner: Dean Ambrose, by pinfall
Backstage Segment: Emma and Mickie James
Emma still thinks she is big on social media. She has a match later against Mickie James. Emma started The Women’s Revolution, we need to start a new hashtag #ThankEmmaForWomenRevolution. Mickie makes a wager, if Emma beats Mickie, she will trend any hashtag Emma wants. But when Mickie beats Emma, she can never talk about starting the women’s revolution.

Match Number 5: Mickie James Vs Emma
This was a nothing match, Emma rolls Mickie over, and wins her first match in 5 years. Emma tells us she started the Woman’s Revolution.
Next: Cena and Reigns
In-Ring Promo: John Cena and Roman Reigns
Kurt Angle is in the ring to officiate the contract signing, and he brings out both Reigns and Cena.
Cena tells us Cena Vs Reigns is a Wrestlemania worthy match, but Angle wants it now, and Cena is all good with that. Roman Reigns is a man who says this is his yard, just ask him, and he will tell you. Ever since Roman came into WWE, he was a blue chip prospect, a blue chip prospect who has been protected since day one. And then there is Cena. He has never been protected, and Reigns has always been that guy Cena wants to fight, and he’s not here to protect anyone. Cena signs the contract, and says he doesn’t want Cena.
But enter Roman. Let me get this right, Roman is scared to fight you? He doesn’t want to fight you? That is in your head? You might not know this, because nobody has ever told you this, but you’re not as big of a deal as you think you are. And Cena may have done some things, but Roman has done something John will never do. He retired The Undertaker at Wrestlemania. So it’s not that he doesn’t want to fight you, it’s just that he doesn’t need to. Cena agrees he doesn’t need to. You see, Cena admits he is a polarizing figure, the fans will cheer him at time, and they will boo him at times. They want him to change into a heel, but for you, they see what John Cena sees you’re just a corporate bootleg John Cena wannabe. And Cena isn’t an old veteran with a bad hip. He is stronger than he ever will be. And deep down, Reigns knows when he beats him, his Roman Empire will burst in smoke.
Reigns questions what John has to say, if the fans want him to change, no they boo him because he sucks. Cena mocks him, and Reigns comes right back, and says he is a fake ass bitch. But wait, you’re just a part-time fake ass bitch. Cena just shows up when he wants to. Reigns shows up every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, while Cena is on The Today Show. Reigns tells Cena maybe he will show up in his big ass bus, and carries a big ass shovel to bury young talent, so he is beneath to face Cena. Cena asks Reigns if he’s done, because he is about to show some truth. So Cena has this magical shovel to put down the young talent? You listen to the crowd, they tell you who needs to step up. Cena hasn’t main evented Wrestlemania in 5 years. He was the first match at Summerslam. He used the United States Championship as a stepping stone to elevate new superstars like Kevin Owens and AJ Styles. Reigns? When he won the United States Championship, he saw it as a stepping stone. He heard about this guy, this big guy, as possibly being “The One”, but he hears Reigns, and he is so sadly disappointed, because this part-timer is so much better than you. And deep down, you know that, because when Cena beats Reigns, that mythical run is gone.
Really, I can’t do words to this, one of the best promos, and very real. Reigns signs the contract, he then flips the table, but here come Anderson and Gallows. I guess they want to fight, and Kurt makes this match, now.
Match Number 6: Roman Reigns and John Cena Vs Gallows and Anderson
Cena and Reigns pick up the victory, when Cena nails an AA on Anderson, and Reigns spears Gallows. In 4 weeks, these two will face each other in a “Dream” match.
Winners: Cena and Reigns, by pinfall
In-Ring Concert: Elias
Who wants to walk with Elias? Elias was in the battle royal, he was not victorious, but he has nobody to blame but the fans. “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes called him Elvis, because he is the true “King” of Memphis. He has a song, and this makes Jerry “The King” Lawler stand up. His voice really isn’t that bad, but he has trouble relating to the audience. Because the fans of Memphis deserve something better, so he brought his friend from Southpaw Regional Wrestling, Pelvis Wesley (Heath Slater in an Elvis costume). Pelvis is showing Elias some moves, but Elias had enough. He nails Drift Away on Heath, I mean Pelvis.
Next: Women’s Championship Match
Earlier Tonight: Battle Royal
Next Week: The Miz Vs Jeff Hardy, for the Intercontinental Championship
Backstage Interview: The Miztourage
Renee Young asks The Miz about next week’s match against Jeff Hardy. Miz talks about how he just had one match, yet he gets a title shot? Renee talks about Jeff winning the battle royal. Maryse asked Renee if she saw Jeff pin anyone? But Kurt Angle gave you this opportunity to put the IC Title in a bigger picture, and they walk away.
Backstage Interview: Sasha Banks
Charly has Sasha, tonight she has a title rematch with Alexa Bliss. Sasha said that Alexa brought up Sasha not retaining her championship. But that ends tonight.
Match Number 7: Sasha Banks (Raw Women’s Champ) Vs Alexa Bliss, for the Raw Women’s Championship
In a good, physical match, Sasha nails a Bank Statement, but the challenger gets out of it, throws Sasha into the ropes, then nails a DDT, to become the 3-time Women’s Champion. Nia Jax comes out to celebrate with Alexa, she nails Sasha, and takes her out. She has Alexa right on her shoulder, then drops Alexa. The friendship is over, she wants the title, and she wants it next. This is where we end the show.
Winner, and NEW Raw Woman’s Champion: Alexa Bliss, by pinfall
Most of this show was very good, the Cena Vs Reigns promo was gold. But this should have been the Wrestlemania match, but we get it at No Mercy instead. As well as Strowman vs Brock, which should be a Wrestlemania match. Roman saying he wants to be the one and only Roman Reigns was such a great line. Unfortunately, it got ignored. Curious to see what kind of buildup they get from these two at No Mercy. I also enjoyed the Battle Royal, and am looking forward to seeing Jeff Vs The Miz.
But as for that main event, why give Sasha the title, only to lose? It’s a waste of time, if she is a 9-time Women’s Champ, but 0 retained defense, what difference does it make? I have to think we will get our Triple Threat at No Mercy, to protect Nia.
So what were your thoughts on the show? Send them to me here, love to hear from you.
