We are 45 minutes away from Raw starting, tonight we will have Big Cass vs Enzo Amore in a Brooklyn Street Fight.  We will also hear about what happened last night’s Summerslam, including talking about the Fatal 4-Way match for the WWE Universal Championship.  Keep it locked here tonight.

In-Ring Promo:  Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman

Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman.  And no, you’re not watching a re-run.  We are live from the Barclays in Brooklyn.  While Heyman has the joy of telling the WWE Universe that last night at WWE Summerslam, he is still with the reigning, and defending WWE Universal Champion, BROCK LESNAR!!  What amazes him is that he doesn’t give predictions, Heyman gives us spoilers.  Heyman told us that the corporation wanted Brock to lose the WWE Universal Championship.  Last night, that corporation took every avenue to take him out of that title match.  For the first time in Brock’s career, he went on a stretcher, so that the three remaining, bad, contenders could sneak away the Universal Championship, so Heyman can stand out here and whine and complain that the new champion didn’t even beat Brock.  But what happened?  He refused medical attention, and came back to this ring to conquer, or be conquered.  And oh my gawd, the conquering Brock did.  Because last night at Summerslam, in this ring, Brock Lesnar pinned Roman Reigns.  So, let’s all be on the same page from this moment forward, if there is any beating to be done, the beating will be done by Brock Lesnar.  If there is victimization to be perpetrated.  There is only one man who can do that, Brock Lesnar.  And if there is any doubt who the greatest athlete is in WWE, or UFC, that athlete is the reigning, and defending Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar.

And here comes Braun Strowman.

They stand in the ring together, Brock said he is looking at the champ, and Braun grabbed him by the throat.  Brock escaped, but Braun gave him 2 Powerslams.  That is all that needs to be said.  Braun holds up The Universal Championship, and soon that title will be his.

Next:  Enzo Amore Vs Big Cass in a Brooklyn Street Fight

Moments Ago:  Braun Strowman Vs Brock Lesnar

Match Number 1:  Big Cass Vs Enzo Amore in a Brooklyn Street Fight

The unthinkable happened, Enzo picks up the win, because Cass hurt his knee when he went over the top rope.  He couldn’t hit his Empire Elbow, and this looks legit too.  I hope Cass is okay.

Winner:  Enzo Amore, due to injury

Tonight:  Sasha Banks is in Brooklyn

Backstage Segment:  Emma

Emma is upset Sasha is the Women’s Champion.  It should have been her, but she was screwed.  Dana Brooke reminded her she tapped out.  But Emma ignores her, then she tore into Nia Jax, who came behind her.  Nia is not amused, they face each other, next.

Match Number 2:  Emma Vs Nia Jax

Nia destroys Emma, wins the match with a Samoan Drop.

Winner:  Nia Jax, by pinfall

Next:  Elias

In-Ring Concert:  Elias

Elias has a song about R-Truth.  The Brooklyn fans want to clap along, and this isn’t the time for it.  And Truth interrupts this again.

Match Number 3:  Elias Vs R-Truth

Truth puts up a fight, but Elias nails Drift Away, and he picks up the win.

Winner:  Elias, by pinfall

Tonight:  New Champions

Next:  Kurt Angle With New Superstar Surprise

In-Ring Promo:  Kurt Angle

Kurt promised us a surprise tonight, for the first time in over a year on Monday Night Raw, please welcome John Cena.

John is getting some boos from Brooklyn.  Mixed crowd here again.  Why is John here?  He saw Kurt at Summerslam, and he asked him if John wants to come to Monday Night Raw.  He said yes, not because Smackdown is bad, but because for a long time, Cena wanted to stand in this ring at Monday Night Raw, he wanted to be face-to-face with a certain WWE Superstar.  And here comes Roman Reigns.

This is Mr. Roman Reigns, you are exactly who Cena was looking for.  Reigns told John the only time he has been looking for him is when he runs his mouth on Twitter.  But now that you are in HIS yard, the question is will you run your mouth to my face?  Undertaker chants going on here.  Seems like the Raw audience will hold a grudge sometimes.  Mr. Roman Reigns, problem is I didn’t come here to talk.

The Miztourage come out here, and it’s AWESOME!!

So this is what a sold out Barclays looks like?  I wouldn’t know.  Cena corrects him, but says it’s good to see you.  John likes to make a joke about everything, but Miz interrupted a moment.  It’s Roman Reigns and John Cena in the ring, at the same time.  Barclays is blowing the roof off this place.  How many moments do you guys get in this life?  Because in life, you are always told if you work hard, and do your job, you will get a moment.  But Miz tired of doing his work, while these two keep getting theirs week after week.  Miz is taking his moment, while he ruins yours.  The General Manager seems to think Raw needs another superstar, while the Intercontinental Champion rides the pine at Summerslam.  So does Raw need John Cena?  18,000 people scream no, so Cena starts to leave, but Miz isn’t done with Cena.  And it’s that smirk Cena gives that ruins Miz’s moment, he is here every single show, he works hard, and he gets nothing.  And Reigns says this is his yard?  This is HIS show.  And he isn’t done with the crowd here, they don’t know whether to cheer Cena, or to boo him.  To cheer Reigns, or boo Reigns.  Where is his damn moment, he has been here for 12 damn years, it’s his time.  Cena has a short that says respect?  He deserves that moment, and Cena agrees.  So let’s have Miz’s moment.  Tonight, in the main event, how about you pick another one of your lackeys, against John Cena and Roman Reigns, for the first time ever.  Miz has a suit on, so this isn’t Cena’s moment.

And here comes Samoa Joe, who is sick and tired of this, he tells Miz his partner won’t be either one his 2 partners, it will be Joe.  Because he is sick and tired of Reigns saying this is his yard, when he owes Reigns.  And as for John Cena?  Joe lays Cena out, and now all four men start to fight.  Reigns takes down The Miztourage, and he nails a Superman Punch on Joe, saving Cena.

Is this our main event tonight?

Tonight:  The New Raw Tag Team Champions

Tonight:  Sasha Banks, The New Raw Women’s Champion

Match Number 4:  Rich Swann, Cedrick Alexander, Gran Metallic, Mustafa Ali Vs Tony Nese, Drew Gulak, Ariya Daivari, and Noam Dar

Cedrick’s team picks up the win here with Cedrick’s Lumbar Check, pinning Tony Nese.  I guess they are centering around Cedrick being the next challenger to the Cruiserweight Title.

Backstage Interview:  Neville

Charly is with the new Cruiserweight Champion, Neville.  People were surprised that Tozawa defeated Neville last week on Raw.  But people were more surprised that Neville regained the title.  But what were they expecting?  Maybe they wanted the charismatic, better-looking guy to beat him?  Or maybe they wanted Tozawa’s new leach Titus O’ Neil to prevail, and here comes Tozawa and Titus.  They don’t care what Neville has to say, but they have one word for him…rematch.  Tomorrow night on 205 Live.

Next:  Ambrose and Rollins

Backstage Segment:  Kurt Angle and Jason Jordan

Kurt is happy to see his son, and Jason isn’t looking for any favors, but he wants to compete tonight.  Kurt tells him Miz is already busy tonight, and Jordan wants Finn Balor.  Okay, good luck.

In-Ring Promo:  Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins

Seth tells us it feels great to get these titles back.  They got back together, they owned the show, and are now the Tag Team Champions again, BABAY!!

Dean slept with this title under the pillow last night.  Seth didn’t believe this would happen again, but the people believed, and it has happened.  So time to celebrate at the Barclays Center, BABAY!!

Dean knows Sheamus and Cesaro will get their rematch, so they will take on anyone, anywhere.

The crowd chants delete, and Matt says “YEEEEEEESSSS!!!”  Jeff came out here to say congratulations.  Matt says they know it better than most, brothers fight.  But when they put their differences aside, and fight together, it’s a BEAUUUUTIFUL thing.  Seth tells them they grew up idolizing them.  Matt tells Seth there is a reason they chant, they have revolutionized the Tag Team scene, and they want to revolutionize tonight in Brooklyn.

Let’s do the damn thing.  The ref comes out, so I guess it’s next.

Match Number 5:  Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose (Raw Tag Champs) Vs The Hardy Boyz in a non-title match

Wow, what a match here, for the first time ever and it felt special.  The Tag Team Champs defeated The Hardy Boyz with the knee, and Dirty Deeds.  Seth pins Jeff.  Sheamus and Cesaro was watching on in the back.  I would love to see this match again.

Winners:  Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, by pinfall

Earlier Tonight:  Brock Lesnar Vs Braun Strowman

WWE No Mercy:  Brock Lesnar Vs Braun Strowman, for the Universal Championship

Tonight:  John Cena and Roman Reigns Vs The Miz and Samoa Joe

In-Ring Promo:  Sasha Banks

She might be from Boston, but for the last 3 years, she has left her heart in Brooklyn.  From NXT Takeover, where she and Bayley made history, and from last year at Summerslam where she tore the house down with Charlotte.  Which reminds her, she gives Ric Flair a big get well soon.  The world needs Ric Flair…WOOOOO  But what we don’t need is a wannabe “Goddess”.  She won the title last night, and she didn’t need Nia Jax to watch her back, she needs the fans.  And she will defend her title against anyone, at anytime.  And here comes Alexa Bliss, she laughs because Sasha has never retained her title, she has lost every single one of them.  And Sasha tells Alexa every time she faces Alexa, she either runs away, or taps out.  But Sasha knows Alexa has a rematch clause, so how about we do this right now?  Alexa could do that, but she won’t.  Brooklyn “fan boys” don’t deserve this match.  But next week, she can break Sasha Bank’s heart.

Match Number 6:  Finn Balor Vs Jason Jordan

This was actually a good match, but the crowd doesn’t care about Jason Jordan.  Balor picks up the win with a Coup De Grace.

Winner:  Finn Balor, by pinfall

Next:  Cena and Reigns Vs The Miz and Joe

Match Number 7:  John Cena and Roman Reigns Vs The Miz (IC Champ) and Samoa Joe

Cena and Reigns had some communication problems, when Joe had John in a Coquina Clutch, Roman ran to try a Superman Punch on Joe, but Joe walked away, and Roman nails Cena.  But Joe went after Roman and Miz tried Skull Crushing Finale on Cena.  Yeah, it didn’t happen.  Cena reversed it to nail Attitude Adjustment, and pins Miz.  But after the match, John did not appreciate the punch, and we end the show with the two trying to settle their differences.

Winners:  John Cena and Roman Reigns, by pinfall

Kevin’s Thoughts:

From top to bottom, this was a fun show, and it felt like a big show too.  My best wishes to Big Cass.  You never want to see anyone go out with a real injury, and that is what happened.  He landed on his foot wrong, and knew something was wrong.

We had John Cena, we had Braun and Brock go at it and now there is a main event at No Mercy, with Brock Vs Strowman.  That is going to be an incredible match, and who knows what else we will see.

I also loved The Hardys Vs Rollins and Ambrose match.  That can continue, and right now the Tag Team Division might be its strength.  Just not sure what they are doing with Jason Jordan.  The fans don’t care about him, and I loved American Alpha together as a team.  We will see.

Next week, we will have Alexa Bliss Vs Sasha Banks too, and the real question will be can Sasha even retain her title, even once?  What were your thoughts on the show?  Send me feedback.
