In-Ring Promo:  Kurt Angle

Kurt has an incredible show planned for us, setting up Summerslam.  Tonight, we will see The Big Show Vs Big Cass.  We also have Miz TV, with his son Jason Jordan.  And we will have a triple threat match between Roman Reigns Vs Samoa Joe Vs Bruan Strowman.  Now Kurt wants to address something personal to the fans here.  21 years ago, he won an Olympic Gold Medalist, with a broken freaking neck.  And he wouldn’t do without the fans.  It’s true, it’s damn true.

Here Comes The Pain!!  Lesnar and Heyman come out.

I know what you’re doing, Heyman said.  He understands the scam, he understands the angle he sees playing here.  He wants to, he needs to, he is planning to take the WWE Universal Championship away from Brock Lesnar.  And why would you do it?  He is putting Brock through a match against some of the strongest World Championship contenders in the history of the WWE.  There is Braun Strowman, a monster of all men, who is willing to take any beating to win.  And then there is that Undertaker-slaying Roman Reigns, who can take the championship at anytime he can.  Then there is that disgusting Samoan, Samoa Joe.  And he is hoping Joe wins to stick it to Brock Lesnar.  Heyman understands it, Kurt has the board to listen to, they say do whatever it takes to get the Universal Title off Brock Lesnar.  So let’s call it Summerslam 2017:  Take the title off Brock Lesnar.  And Kurt has to listen to the board, so Heyman will put it like this….if Brock loses the Universal Championship at Summerslam, he is leaving WWE, and so will Paul Heyman.  But Kurt doesn’t have to worry about this, because nobody is taking the Universal Championship away from Brock.  Not an “unstoppable” force like Braun Strowman.  Not an “Undertaker-retiring” Roman Reigns, and certainly not a cheap-shot artist like Samoa Joe.  Because the winner will still be, the reigning, undefeated Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar.

Tonight:  Triple Threat Match

Tonight:  Miz TV with Jason Jordan

Next:  The Hardy Boyz Vs Gallows and Anderson

Match Number 1:  The Hardy Boyz Vs Gallows and Anderson

The Revival was watching on during this match.  Gallows and Anderson tried Magic Killer, but Jeff blocked that out, and he nailed a Swanton, pinning Gallows.  The Hardyz celebrate right in front of “The Top Guys”, but now the fight is on.  Gallows and Anderson get involved.  Twist of Fate from both Hardy brothers, nailing Scott.  Then a Poetry in Motion on Dash and Anderson.  The Hardy Boyz are not done.

Winners:  The Hardy Boyz

Backstage Interview:  Dean Ambrose

Renee Young has her boyfriend, Dean Ambrose discuss matters.  Last week, he and Rollins won the big tag team match, and Dean denied The Shield fist bump.  The question becomes are Ambrose and Seth getting back together?  Dean admitted they had never looked better, but are they getting back together?  Before Dean answers that, Rollins shows up.  He agrees they had looked good last week, and he can feel them getting back together.  Dean makes it clear, as good as it felt last week, he had eyes in the back of his head last week.  They aren’t getting back together.

Backstage Segment:  Seth Rollins, Cesaro, and Sheamus

Cesaro and Sheamus laugh about what just happened to Seth Rollins.  They are opposite.  At first, Sheamus and Cesaro couldn’t stand each other, now they are best friends.  And we saw Seth come in with Ambrose, like brothers.  But now after what happened to Seth, he can’t even do a Ride Along show.  Seth loves the jokes, but now let’s fight.  He challenges one of them to answer the challenge.  It’s going to be Sheamus, and with some sound advice, if you’re in a hole, stop digging.

Match Number 2:  Akira Tozawa, Cedric Alexander, and Rich Swann Vs TJP, Tony Nese, and Ariya Diavari

Akira is still on Titus Worldwide.  Tozawa still had his shoulder taped up.  During the middle of the match, Titus wanted Tozawa to give up, and fight another day.  Tozawa refused, and he pins Daivari with a Senton for his team.

Winners:  Akira Tozawa, Cedric Alexander, and Rich Swann, by pinfall

Next:  Miz TV with Jason Jordan

In-Ring Promo:  Miz TV

Miz hates this city, but the show must go on, welcome to the most must-see TV show in WWE, welcome to Miz TV.  Miz TV is about buzzworthy, and there is nothing more buzzworthy than when Pittsburgh’s own Kurt Angle revealed he has a son, and he is Jason Jordan, so come on out.

Your story reads a movie of the week, you found out you’ve been adopted.  And your father is Kurt Angle, how does it feel?  It’s been a rough week, and how does it feel that these people have booed you.  They hate The Miz, but they are booing Jason Jordan.  Jason said they will boo, they will cheer, but Miz is the expert of booing.  Miz was impressed with Jason’s Raw debut last week, and some people, not Miz, but some wonder why he got that shot in the first place.  But Miz believes Jason will go places.  Miz wants to manage Jason’s career, so please join The Miztourage.  Jason says thanks, but Jason is good.  Miz tells Jason he has main evented Wrestlemania.  The locker room are filled with vultures, so he needs Miz to guide his career.  Jason is good, sure why not, because your daddy is Kurt Angle, you will get those positions.  Jason tells Miz he talked to Kurt, he doesn’t want hand-outs, he wants to earn his way.  Miz tells Jason he is very naive, he needs a man like The Miz to guide his career.  He tells Jason his dad is an ex-jock who went through shattered dreams, and the only reason WWE brought him back is out of pity.  Jason said Miz can say anything about him, but if he says anything else about Kurt, he will make him regret it.  Miz tells his group he has everything going his way, and he runs right into a German Suplex, right into Bo and Curtis.

Tonight:  Triple Threat Match:  Reigns Vs Strowman Vs Joe

Video:  Roman Reigns

Next:  Rollins Vs Sheamus

Match Number 3:  Sheamus (WWE Raw Tag Team Champ) Vs Seth Rollins

Seth seems to have new music here, with a guy screaming “Burn it down”.  Seth picks up the win with a roll up, both men had this great fight, with Cesaro standing by.  After the match, Cesaro joins Sheamus and they beat up Rollins.  They hit White Noise on Rollins, and we didn’t see Ambrose.  But Rollins wants more.  They come back, and beat him down, but Ambrose shows up and fights with Sheamus and Cesaro.    But the numbers game take over too.  The Neutralizer on Ambrose.  The Tag Team Champions took out Ambrose and Rollins.  Ambrose wants more, and this irate the Tag Champs, Sheamus nails a Brogue Kick.

Winner:  Seth Rollins, by pinfall

Video:  Samoa Joe

Next:  The Eater of Worlds

In-Ring Promo:  Bray Wyatt

There is no escape, not for you, not for your children, and certainly not for Finn Balor.  The truth is no mortal man can escape the darkness, that is the way it is.  Look at us, we are being held down by humanity shackles.  We are all being held down fir shame.  Pittsburgh is pitiful, hiding from something you aren’t, Bray can see you, and Bray is everywhere.  He is right there when the honest man justifies from stealing.  And he is right there when we all proclaim to be a part of The Balor Club.  We live vicariously through Finn Balor, and we all think one day we can be special.  You see this ordinary man, Finn Balor doing extraordinary things.  You try to think he can do spectacular things, but Bray sees Finn as the man he is, just a human being, we all believe that good things can happen to us, because we can do it.  So how did it feel when Bray took our precious hero, and he twisted his body, like a broken heap.  Did it hurt you?  Did you realize that when life knocks you down, when Bray Wyatt “The Eater of Worlds” knocks you down, there is no escape.

Here comes Finn Balor, the lights come back on, and Finn is right behind Bray, turning his back behind Bray.   Bray nails a kick on Bray, and hits a tope, followed by a dropkick, sending Bray over the barricade.

Video:  Braun Strowman

Next:  Triple Threat Match

Match Number 4:  Roman Reigns Vs Samoa Joe Vs Braun Strowman in a Triple Threat Match

This was everything you had thought it would be, everything, including the kitchen sink.  But Roman Reigns nails a spear, pinning Joe.  Strowman wants some more though.

Winner:  Roman Reigns, by pinfall

Last Week:  Big Cass Vs Enzo

Backstage Segment:  Enzo and Big Show

Enzo wants to apologize to Big Show for getting himself involved in this.  Big Show accepts the apology, but tonight, Big Cass will learn about respect.

In-Ring Concert:  Elias

Pittsburgh’s own Elias apparently left his last name in the back, has a song for the fine folks of Pittsburgh.  They are the pits.

Match Number 5:  Elias Vs Kalisto

This actually took 2 segments, Kalisto also interrupted Elias’ concert, it’s like anybody can do this now.  Anyway, Elias wins with what he calls Pure Drifter, a rolling neckbreaker.

Winner:  Elias, by pinfall

Backstage Interview:  Alexa Bliss

Alexa talks about last week’s match, on how Sasha Banks lost yet again.  She will be watching on TV, whining that should be her facing Alexa.  It’s a shame she is out of the country tonight doing promotional work.  She won’t be here to help her little friend Bayley, when she is facing Nia Jax.  It will be a massacre.

Next:  Bayley Vs Nia Jax

Video:  Pure Country, Broken Heart

Earlier Tonight:  Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose

Backstage Segment:  Rollins and Ambrose

Seth thanks Rollins for helping him out.  Dean is blaming Seth for forcing Dean to come out, so next time make sure you can get a plan, and win the match, because next time that happens, Ambrose may not be out there.  Wait, you will say you would have done the same thing?  The hell you would.

Match Number 6:  Bayley Vs Nia Jax

So for whatever reason, for the millionth time we see these same two women face each other.  Alexa Bliss tries to help Nia, but Bayley outsmart them, and wins the match by countout.

Winner:  Bayley, by countout

Backstage Interview:  Big Cass

Renee Young is with Big Cass, how can you teach about respect, when you don’t respect yourself, judging by the company you keep?  Tonight, Big Show, you’ll find out about respect in that ring.

Next:  Big Cass Vs The Big Show

Earlier Tonight:  The Miz and Jason Jordan

Match Number 7:  Big Cass Vs The Big Show

This was a ridiculous segment here, the match ends when Cass had things going his way with the big boot, Enzo jumped on Cass’ back, to cause the DQ.  Big Show gets back up, and nails Cass with the Big Punch, knocking him out.  The show ends with Big Show dragging Enzo out of the ring.

Winner:  Big Cass, by DQ

Kevin’s Results:

This show sucked, it started off hit, with even an appearance by Brock Lesnar, but for some reason, WWE put the Triple Threat match, the REAL main event in the middle of the show, and everything else just dragged down.  This is the Summerslam build?  Tomorrow night on Smackdown Live, we will see Styles Vs Owens, and Cena Vs Nakamura.  But tonight’s main event was Cass Vs Big Show?  What?  And why all of a sudden do we have a beef with Cesaro and Sheamus Vs Ambrose and Rollins?  And now they will get Tag Team Titles?  Where is the slow build to that?  Just not a good show tonight, not even Miz could save his segment with Jason Jordan.  What were your thoughts on the show?  Send them to me here.
