Tonight, we are 6 days away from Fastlane, so expect some heavy push for that show.  We will see Goldberg tonight, preparing for his WWE Universal Title match against Kevin Owens, at Fastlane.  We will also see the return in an exclusive interview with Seth Rollins.  Also, since WWE has already told us, they will announce Beth Phoenix is the next inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of ’17.  We are 35 minutes away from Raw, keep checking here throughout the night.

Segment Number 1:  Goldberg

Goldberg kicks off Raw, heading to the ring.  The fans in Green Bay love Goldberg.  Last week, Kevin Owens came out, in his little shirt, nice little suit, nice little spotlight, and did what he does best.  And that is talk, and talk, until he couldn’t talk anymore, then he talks again.  He isn’t going to do that, but he is in a good mood, because he is 6 days out.  From his heart, Goldberg never failed a promise he didn’t deliver.  So here is a promise, spear, Jackhammer, 1…2…3….Goldberg becomes Universal Champion.  Then he heads to Wrestlemania, and face Brock Lesnar.  Now, as sure as hell as Goldberg is standing here.  He promises every single person in this arena, he promises everyone watching on TV, he promises to his wife, he promises to his son, and most importantly, he promises to Kevin Owens, he will deliver on his promise.  I will see you on Sunday.

Enter Kevin Owens.

You’re in a good mood Bill?  That is great, because Kevin is in a good mood too.  Because when he was out here last week in his nice suit, nice spotlight, there was something missing, and that was Goldberg.  He talks about making his promises, Kevin made a promise too when he got into this company.  He was going to grab this company by the throat, and he did that in his first night, by beating John Cena.  “The Face That Runs This Place, he ran this place for a decade.  He beat him.  And “The Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose, he beat him.  He beat “The Architect” Seth Rollins.  He beat “The Big Dawg” Roman Reigns, he beat “The Flavor of the Month” AJ Styles, and he could tell Goldberg what he did to Chris Jericho, but he doesn’t deserve the mention.  And that brings us to Goldberg, he is next.  He is next to see the evolution of Kevin Owens being the Universal Champion.  Goldberg doesn’t want to talk anymore, so how about we do this right now.  Goldberg Vs Owens?  Right here, right now?  In a Green Bay Streetfight, let’s do this.  Oh wait, Green Bay doesn’t deserve a match between the two of them.  But it will happen this Sunday, and Owens will defeat Goldberg 1….2…3.  And the crowd will be silent, because the Goldberg Chant will be history.

Tonight:  Seth Rollins Returns

Next:  The new Day In Action

New Day Segment:

As our hosts of Wrestlemania, our boys The new Day have a lot on their plate.  But Kofi said we should not be concerned with what is on our plate.  Oh no, we should be concerned with what is in our bowls.  They fed us with sugar just now, but New Day knows we want more.  We want that ice cream.  Kofi wants us to have all kinds of ice cream.  But before we get that shine, they must take away some of that shine from The Shining Stars.  Some tech guy hands them a note here.  They won’t go up against them tonight.  They have a match tonight against The Big Show.  This is not indicative of their hosting abilities.  Their real opponents are Rusev and Jinder Mahal.  A little “Moonlighting” here.

Match Number 1:  The New Day Vs “Handsome” Rusev and Jinder Mahal

The New Day pick up the win with a roll up,  Rusev is now getting into this with Jinder, because Rusev was with Lana at the time, whatever.

Winners:  The New Day, by pinfall

Tonight:  Sasha Banks and Bayley Vs Charlotte Flair and Dana Brooke

Video:  Last Monday

Enzo and Cass defeated Sheamus and Cesaro, to face Gallows and Anderson this Sunday for the Raw Tag Team Titles.

Segment Number 3:  Enzo and Cass

Enzo is talking about winning the Tag Team Titles this Sunday.  Enzo will never take off the Tag Titles, and Cass reminds Enzo Tag Champs have been champions all over the world, while they never have, including NXT.  But that changes this Sunday, he just needs his focus with his match against Gallows tonight.

Segment Number 4:  Cesaro and Sheamus

Cesaro is talking to Sheamus about getting Tag Team Titles back, and Cesaro tells Sheamus he will handle it.  But here comes Samoa Joe.  They have had history together, and Cesaro is still trying to find that “brass ring”, and Cesaro says to Joe he is the one who turns his back on everyone, and is still choking on HHH’s jock strap.  Joe said we will see where this goes.  Sheamus wants to kick Joe down his throat, and Cesaro told him he will handle this.

Segment Number 5:  Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley

More drama here, with Stephanie telling Mick that 17 years ago, her husband retired Mick Foley, and he has become weaker.  He used to fight with his ear torn off, and finished the match.  Fell off Hell in a Cell twice, and still fought back.  But Mick is not the same man, so she apologized thinking he was, and she doesn’t see how he can stand the man he is now.

Match Number 2:  Akira Tozawa Vs Noam Dar

Tozawa picks up the win with a Snap German Suplex.  This Sunday, Tozawa will team with Rich Swan to face Kendrick and Doar.  After the match, Kendrick attacks Tozawa from behind, to show him how to respect Kendrick.

Winner:  Akira Tozawa, by pinfall

Kendrick tells Tozawa that is lesson number 3, because even when you win a match, you must have eyes in your back, because it’s still not over.  Any questions?

Next:  Banks and Bayley Vs Flair and Brooke

Segment Number 7:  Mick Foley and Samoa Joe

Joe runs right into Foley, mocking Mick for not having a nice day.  But Mick tells him 13 years ago, he was the biggest fan of Joe, and now he is nothing but HHH’s puppet.  This upset Joe, saying he is nobody’s puppet.  But Joe, you do everything HHH says, that is the very definition of being a puppet.  Joe again says he answers to nobody.  Mick said he is still the Raw GM, for now, so he says tonight, it will be Joe Vs Cesaro, right here in Green Bay.  Have a nice day.

Segment Number 8:  In-Ring Promo From Charlotte Flair

Before the match starts, Charlotte is surprised Bayley did not forfeit the Women’s Title, but she showed us she is nothing but a selfish, egotistical woman she always knew to be.  She should have won an Academy Award, but she showed that she is normal, like us.  She didn’t care if she had to cheat to win the championship.  Or that she had her BFF Sasha Banks to help her win the title.  That’s Bayley.  Then again, she is known to be a one hit wonder.  Like Baha Men, or Vanilla Ice, or even in sports, like Brett Favre, or Buster Douglas, or even your Quarterback, Aaron Rodgers.  But she was born for greatness, that is why Forbes Magazine named her the most….

Here comes Bayley.  There she is, the cheater herself.  But it’s actually Bayley, the champion.  Now if this memory has served her correctly, this “One Hit Wonder” has beat Charlotte 3 times.  And not you, or Stephanie McMahon will stop her from that.  And if she thinks this was her one dream, of being Raw Women’s Champion, you are wrong.  Because if one dream ends, another one comes in, and that is heading to Wrestlemania as the Raw Women’s Champion.  Charlotte tells Bayley we are 40 days away from Wrestlemania, and she will regain that title.  She will even buy her father a front row ticket to see her little girl lose the Raw Women’s Title.  And here comes Sasha Banks.  “The Boss” says Bayley will be more of a champion that Charlotte ever will be, and she has earned that spot.  But Sasha is taking Bayley’s spotlight it seems, says Charlotte.  But don’t they have a tag match?  Yup, but Dana is not her partner, it’s this woman.

Match Number 3:  Bayley (Raw Women’s Champ) and Sasha Banks Vs Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax

Nia dominated this tag match towards the end, pinning Bayley with her leg drop.  She might be setting up her Wrestlemania match in style here.

Winners:  Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax, by pinfall

Segment Number 10:  Mick Foley and Braun Strowman

Strowman doesn’t want competition tonight.  He wants a contract, with Reigns.  He has him right where he wants him, and now he wants to break him.  Foley promises Reigns isn’t broke yet, but Strowman wants Reigns to sign the contract, or else.

Next:  Big Cass Vs Luke Gallows

Match Number 4:  Luke Gallows (WWE Raw Tag Team Champ) Vs Big Cass

With Enzo’s help, Big Cass picks up the win with the big boot.  This Sunday, these four men collide for the Rag Tag Titles.

Winner:  Big Cass, by pinfall

Tonight:  Contract Signing:  Reigns Vs Strowman

Match Number 5:  Titus O’ Neil Vs Sheamus

This started earlier tonight on Facebook Live, Titus wanted to team with Sheamus after Joe destroys Cesaro, Sheamus walks away.  Titus showed an aggressive side, attacking Sheamus before the bell starts, but Sheamus regroup, and hits the Brogue Kick for the win.

Winner:  Sheamus, by pinfall

Tonight:  Cesaro Vs Samoa Joe

Next:  Seth Rollins

Segment Number 13:  In-Ring Promo From Seth Rollins

Corey Graves is here to conduct an interview.  We get this awesome video to show us how we got here.  The question is can Seth Rollins come back?  Seth comes into the ring on crutches.  Great to see Seth back here on Raw.  Corey is asking the obvious, how is rehab?  Seth said it is okay, the tear on his MCL was a bit more significant, and the rehab has been getting intense.  It is what it is.  Corey asks where Seth’s head is at right now.  Corey, if I am being honest, it sucks, dude.  He is lying in the hospital with the same knee injury, and he says maybe he deserves this.  2 years ago at Wrestlemania, he was holding the WWE World Title over his head.  They got to share that moment together, and he has to ask himself what his sacrifice was, was everything worth it?  He told the world he didn’t sell out, he bought in.  But did he buy in too much.  HHH stabbed him in the back, Seth should have known better.  Redesign, Return, Reclaim, that was supposed to mean something, and he feels he has lost sight of that, and it’s all his fault.  Corey talks about for the second straight time, according to HHH and Joe, he will miss Wrestlemania.  What is Seth’s answer, is he going to miss Wrestlemania?  Right now, Seth says it’s not looking great.  It doesn’t look like the doctors will clear him in time for Wrestlemania.

Behold The King….The King of Kings….On your knees punk.

Here comes HHH, with a big smile on his face.  Ladies and gentlemen, Seth “Freaking” Rollins.  HHH knows people won’t believe this, because you think he is heartless, it’s good to see Seth, because he didn’t think he’d see him again.  But you know Joe, of course you know Joe.  Corey asked Seth a question he gave a wishy-washy answer, but you will not be at Wrestlemania.  Now don’t listen to the fans, they will get you in trouble.  But you will not be at Wrestlemania.  And did you truly believe you were just getting what you deserved?  HHH made you the man, the biggest face WWE has seen.  You showed everyone the WWE World Title, and you shoves it in our face.  HHH did all of this for Seth.  He gave him everything he wanted, and Seth bit the hand that fed him.  So did you think they would all go their own different ways, you aren’t dumb.  You aren’t like the fans, he will use you and spit you in the face.  That is life, get over it.  Because when HHH was doing this for you, you were eating it up the entire way.  I was telling the world that you are the future, but you’re the past now.  Salvage what you have left, salvage it.  And he will tell Seth what the answer is, he needs to do the right thing, because this is the most pivotal moment of his career.  Do not come to Wrestlemania, and call out HHH, because he is done warning him, and he promises Seth if he shows up at Wrestlemania, it will be the last thing he does.  Hunter, a month ago, I told your wife he had nothing to lose.  This isn’t the furthest from the truth, Seth will be at Wrestlemania.  And if it’s the last thing Rollins ever does, he swears it will be the last thing HHH will ever do.

Match Number 6:  Shining Stars Vs Big Show

Big Show wins with a Double Chokeslam.

Winner:  Big Show, by pinfall

WWE Celebrates Black History Month:  Martin Luther King, Jr.

Segment Number 14:  Neville and Tony Nese

Coming up next is a tag match with Neville and Tony Vs TJ Perkins and Gallagher, but the purpose of this match Neville states is to take Gallagher out so he doesn’t compete this Sunday.  Tony is flexing his pecs, and doesn’t care.  He tells Neville that he is here to look out for himself.

Match Number 7:  Neville (WWE Cruiserweight Champ) and Tony Nese Vs Jack Gallagher and TJ Perkins

Gallagher picks up the win, making Tony tap out to the Crossface Chickenwing, setting up his Cruiserweight Title match against Neville this Sunday.

Winners:  Jack Gallagher and TJ Perkins, by submission

WWE HOF Inductee:  Beth Phoenix

Next:  Cesaro Vs Joe

Segment Number 16:  Bayley and Sasha Banks

Sasha is here to say she has Bayley’s back, and will be in her corner this Sunday.  Stephanie McMahon is saying plans have changed, because this Sunday, she will give Sasha a chance to get her spotlight back.  Sasha will face Nia Jax.  So if she was Sasha, she would stop watching Bayley’s back, and start worrying about her own.

Match Number 8:  Samoa Joe Vs Cesaro

The storyline here was Joe hurt Cesaro’s knee, so an Island Driver stops Cesaro, and he is pinned.

Winner:  Samoa Joe, by pinfall

Hey, it’s Charly Caruso, our only appearance from the interview woman, she asks Joe hos is he able to make such an impact in such a short form of being in WWE.  The answer is simple, Joe is here in the WWE to hurt people.  He did that to Seth Rollins, he did it to Sami Zayn, and tonight, he did that to Cesaro.  He doesn’t care who he has to face, he will destroy them.  And we hear Sami Zayn’s music, and here comes Sami to fight Joe.  Officials broke them up.

Next:  Contract Signing with Reigns and Braun

WWE Fastlane:  Just official….Samoa Joe Vs Sami Zayn, and Sasha Banks Vs Nia Jax

Segment Number 18:  Contract Signing

Mick is here to officiate the contract signing here for this Sunday, at Fastlane between Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns.  Braun comes out first, but no Reigns, yet.  Braun tells Mick though he brought the paper, and he brought the table.  Your job is done, so leave or else.  Mick is here to say he may not be the Raw General Manager for long, so he will respect what he has to say.  There was a time Braun said that he respected Mick, but that was before he became the broken down man.  It’s like he has become the suburban dad, and is no longer a fighting man.  Mick has had enough of this, he says General Managers come and go, but he is a legend, and legends never die.  So you will listen to what he has to say, or else.  Braun just shoves him, and here comes Roman Reigns, ready for a fight.  Reigns takes out Braun and some tech guy with a spear through a barricade.  Roman signs the contract, but Braun gets right back up.  He shoves Roman through the turnbuckle, and the entire turnbuckle breaks.  Strowman is still standing tall.  Roman gets right back up, slowly and signs the contract.

The show ends with Roman kneeling down, ready for battle against Strowman.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

This has to be one of the most boring Raws in a long time.  The best segment was Seth Rollins returning, and warning HHH he will somehow be at Wrestlemania.  Also I am imtrigued at how we will see Reigns Vs Strowman, and Owens Vs Goldberg this Sunday.  But things have to be picked up here, this is Wrestlemania, and we seem to be in a slow pace right here.  Do you agree?  What are your thoughts, heading into this Sunday’s Fastlane, send me a message on Twitter with @KevinGillman, or drop me a line here.
