Segment Number 1:  Kevin Owens

The WWE Universal Champion begins the show, in the middle of the ring, sitting on a chair.  Now that the spotlight is finally, solely where it belongs, he can answer the question that is on everyone’s mind.  Why?  Why does Kevin Owens think he is going to walk out of Fastlane still the WWE Universal Champion.  If he was 15 years old, and someone walked up to him saying he would be defending the WWE Universal Champion against Goldberg, he would think he was crazy.  Not because he is the champion, he always knew that, but who his opponent is.  Goldberg.  Goldberg chants, and Owens says there is the chant that has followed Goldberg his entire career.  there is the chant that makes Goldberg think he has a chance, and there is the chant that makes people believe the hype, but Owens never believed in that.  Goldberg never impressed Owens.  But what about when Goldberg beat Brock Lesnar in 1:26 seconds?  That is because Brock took Bill lightly, and he got lucky.  But Owens knows what to expect, and what to do.  Nobody believes Owens has a chance against Goldberg, but he will prove everyone again.  And you know why?  Because Bill, at Fastlane, he doesn’t have to beat Goldberg, just outlasts him.  Everyone knows the longer Bill goes, the more chance Bill’s opponent has in beating him.  Owens knows how to play the game better than anyone else.  Bill, he waited to be a champion in WWE his entire life, and now that he is, there is nothing he will not do to keep it that way.  But you, what is it you said when you came back?  You said you wanted to show your wife, your kid, all the kids in the world that superheroes can come true.  But Owens is here to show you, and the entire world that superheroes don’t exist.  Bill Goldberg, at Fastlane, these people can chant for you all you want, and you can stand across to him, and bark at him saying “You’re next”, but he is here to tell Goldberg “You’re nothing”.  Now as far as Chris Jericho goes…

Owens drops the mic, and walks away.

Enzo and Cass picked up the win, when Cass hit the East River Crossing, to become the Number One Contenders.  After the match, Enzo was talking a bit too much trash, and Sheamus nails him with a Brogue Kick.  The fans seemed to love that.

Winners, and new Number One Contenders:  Enzo and Big Cass, by pinfall

Segment Number 3:  Owens and Foley

Match Number 2:  THE Brian Kendrick Vs Akira Tozawa

The match ends in a no contest, because Tozawa refused to shake the hand of Brian, and this irate Kendrick.  He attacks Tozawa, and walks away.

Winner:  No Contest

Next:  Reigns Vs Gallows and Anderson

Reigns takes the chair, and whips both of them, thinking he is seeing Braun Strowman.  Gives Gallows the Superman Punch, and gives Anderson a spear in mid-air.

Video:  Life of George “The Animal” Steele

Segment Number 9:  Cruiserweight Title Contract Signing

Jack Gallagher is in the ring, and he talks about this is a chance for him to dethrone the “delusional” King of the Cruiserweights, Neville.  He signs the contract, and here comes Neville.  Neville comes in, signs the contract, and leaves.  But Gallagher stops him.  He was hoping he’d take their differences aside, and since they are both British, they have some tea and crumpets.  Tea and biscuits.  Are you for real, Jack?  Take a look at yourself, you are exactly what these imbeciles expect him to be.  He should be ashamed of himself.  You are a cartoon, he is a stereotype, he doesn’t exist.  The real streets of England look like him, they are ugly, looking a little grimy.  But he is a phony, they aren’t laughing with him, they are laughing at Jack.  And the only person who is going to come on top is Neville at Fastlane.  Gallagher talks about he isn’t playing this role, he dresses nice, the moustache does not come off at night.  The problem isn’t Jack, the problem is Neville.  He is not a real king, and at Fastlane, he will stop him.  Neville flips the table, and dares Jack to do something about it, and Jack has the final say here.

Tonight:  Strowman Vs Show

Next:  Nia Jax in action

Match Number 5:  Nia Jax Vs Jackson Pearce

Nia wins, with ease, hitting the Samoan Drop

Winner:  Nia Jax, by pinfall

Segment Number 11:  Niz Jax

Charly wants to interview Nia about the controversy in last week’s Woman’s Title, the only controversy is she hasn’t gotten her title shot yet, and it seems those two little girls are scared, she’d love to see them try to do that to her.  She is serving the champion notice.

WWE Celebrates Black History Month:  Barrack Obama

Next:  Bayley speaks

Segment Number 12:  Bayley Promo

Charlotte demands she gives back her championship, so will Bayley do that?  The fans chant she deserves it, and the champ is in her own home state of California.  Growing up in California is a beautiful place, she had the best friends, the best families.  They had their big dreams, but all she ever wanted to do is be in WWE, stand in the ring, point to the Wrestlemania sign, and win a championship.  That happened last week.  One moment she was in the Figure 8, next moment, she had her hand raised in victory.  People want to know what that moment was like, and she can’t explain it, even now.  First thing she did was call her dad, and it represented to all of the fans in these crowds.  She will say the same thing to her dad now that he is here tonight, Dad, I did it.  But classic Charlotte is trying to taint her moment, but face it Charlotte, she is the new Raw Women’s Champion.

But here comes Stephanie McMahon.

Stephanie asks Bayley about her dream, growing up when she was 10 years old, if she would main event a sold-out crowd of Monday Night Raw.  Did she envision the crowd chanting you deserved it?  Or did she envision about to tap out, but someone had a hand in helping her?  Or when she called her dad, and he was silent for a moment, you told him you did it, and he said yeah, but someone helped you to it.  She is such a good, wholesome person, who always does the right thing.  Her daughters look up to her, and she knows Bayley would do the right, wholesome thing, and relinquish the Women’s Championship.  Bayley doesn’t need to listen to these people, she is better than that.  Bayley has the Women’s Championship, and Steph says win the championship on her own terms, for the right reasons.  And here comes Sasha.  And Steph interrupts saying, here is Sasha to get involved in Bayley’s business altogether.  Either she thinks she is too naive, or she knows she isn’t good enough to win by herself.  Sasha pleads with Bayley not to listen to this garbage.  Listen to these people, they love her.  Sasha loves her.  So should Bayley give up her Women’s Championship?  Stephanie wants to know if Sasha really is out here for her, or does she truly believe she can beat Bayley, and not Charlotte.  Sasha gets right into Stephanie’s face, and Bayley stops her, saying this title is bigger than Bayley, its bigger than Sasha.  This title should represent competition, not controversy.  So should she give up this Raw Women’s Championship?  There is only one answer….hell no.  She defeated Charlotte for the third time, and it wasn’t because of Sasha, it was for the fans.  And she will fight for this title, and there isn’t anything anyone can do about it.  And here comes Charlotte.  Charlotte wants to apologize for these two women, but she doesn’t need the title to be handed to her.  She will take the Women’s Title at Fastlane, invoking her rematch clause.  And Sasha challenges Charlotte to a match tonight, but Charlotte denies it, saying she doesn’t want to put her on the shelf, again.  But Stephanie makes the match, right now.

Match Number 6:  Charlotte Flair Vs Sasha Banks

Bayley comes out for commentary, Dana Brooke comes out to help Charlotte, but Bayley counters this, Charlotte fight off Bayley, but Sasha hits a Backstabber, then Banks Statement, making Charlotte tap out.

Winner:  Sasha Banks, by submission

WWE HOF Inductee of 2017:  DDP

Segment Number 14:  Sami Zayn Promo

Charly asked Sami if he wants to say I told ya so to Chris Jericho?  Sami talks about being on Highlight eel in November, warning Jericho this can happen.  He has known Kevin for so many years, he knows Kevin is in it for himself, and he feels he knows Samoa Joe, two very selfish people, who will do reprehensible things, and make up some excuses.  Joe attacked him from behind, but that’s okay, because it’s all about HHH.  But their story isn’t over with yet, because he will get his.  And Owens has Goldberg to deal with, but first, he has to go through him, and Sami will beat him down too.

Match Number 7:  Kevin Owens (WWE Universal Champ) Vs Sami Zayn in a non-title match.

Joe attacks Sami from behind, ramming his head into the ring post, screaming at him to respect him when he says his name.  Joe hits a Senton, and rolls him back in the ring.  The referee asked Sami if he wants the match to continue, and Sami does.  Owens has his way with Sami, nailing a Pop-Up Powerbomb for the pinfall.

Winner:  Kevin Owens, by pinfall

Next:  Brock Lesnar Interview

In Memory Of:  Ivan Koloff

Segment Number 15:  Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon

Mick and Steph have a discussion with what took place earlier tonight.  Mick was enjoying the segment with Bayley and Stephanie.  Now they are bickering, and Foley tells Stephanie do not treat him like he is a little child.  He trusted her, but now because of that, Seth Rollins is injured, and may not even compete at Wrestlemania.  He knows how good Samoa Joe is, and he has been telling them since 2004.  He loves Joe, but he hates the way he has come in to feed Stephanie and HHH’s own ego.  He doesn’t need this, and he won’t stand for it.  Stephanie made a little threat to him, saying there is a quarter on the floor, and she doesn’t want him to pick it up, and have an “accident”.

Segment Number 16:  Brock Lesnar Interview

Michael Cole is with Brock and Heyman.  It’s official, Goldberg vs Lesnar at Wrestlemania.  The man who defeated Brock in 1:26 at Survivor Series, and the man who eliminated him at Royal Rumble.  But before that, in 2 weeks, Goldberg faces Kevin Owens for the WWE Universal Championship.  Paul Heyman interrupts him, and says his client is on the edge lately, dare he say that it would behoove him to lower his voice, and adjust his tone.  They know where they are going with this.  Goldberg vs Owens is such a historic match, that it affects their match at Wrestlemania.  His client Brock Lesnar disagrees.  Brock stands up, and takes Cole’s chair, while Heyman talks.  There are some that say Kevin Owens sent a statement last week with Chris Jericho that he should be recognized as the most violent, and vile man in recent history in WWE history.  His client Brock Lesnar disagrees.  There are some that say if Owens takes Goldberg lightly, just like his client did that Owens puts himself in a good position at Wrestlemania, his client disagrees.  There are some that think Kevin Owens established himself, he thinks Kevin Owens has a chance to be a force, he thinks Owens has a chance to stand in good position at Wrestlemania if he defeats Goldberg.  His client disagrees.  Because with a spear and a Jackhammer away from being Mr. Wrestlemania.  And that is one thing his client will be dealing with, to conquer, and destroy Goldberg, and his client agrees.

Next Week:  Goldberg will be here, as will Seth Rollins with an exclusive interview.

Match Number 8:  Braun Strowman Vs Big Show

Braun picks up the win with a Running Powerslam.  This was a fun match, and even teased that the ring would break, since we kept hearing that ring was re-enforced.  I guess it was, but after the match, Roman Reigns comes out.  2 Superman Punches, but Braun hits the Running Powerslam on him, and stands tall to end the show.

Kevin’s Thoughts:

This was a good show, not many down points at all, and they are in full gear of Fastlane, before Wrestlemania.  Going to be interesting to see what happens when Seth Rollins comes back next week.  I also loved that we didn’t see Jericho, and hopefully he doesn’t come back until either at Fastlane, or the night after to set up Wrestlemania.  Also, another great segment with Joe and Sami, and it looks like those two will have a match at Fastlane.  Hopefully we find that out next week.  What were your thoughts on the show?  Send them to me here.
