Jeff Rich is a Cleveland-born sports fan living in the Arizona desert. His favorite memories include being "in the house" for Game 3 of the 1995 World Series and the Browns fake field goal walk-off win against Minnesota in 1989. Though physically separated from The Land by thousands of miles, Jeff keeps his eye on his hometown by watching the games and interacting with his fellow fans on Twitter (@byjeffrich). You can listen to him every Sunday on Dorf on Sports at SportsByline.com from 11 AM-1 PM (EDT)

Jeff Rich welcomes Jeremy Powell, known to the cyber and radio world as Jeremy In Akron, to discuss the latest in Cleveland sports as well as news items integral to the entire Land of the Free. We discuss the civil behavior of people in Northeast Ohio in the wake of winning a championship versus the pessimistic expectation of what will happen during the RNC.

The Indians are back on that winning saddle, after finally dropping a couple games in Canada. The Cavs are eating up the news cycle with rumors, but the only thing of substance in the Cavs world is that shiny new trophy. The Browns are always worthy of being discussed, but it hasn’t been happening so much lately. Lastly, we don’t want to get creepy with recruiting, but there’s no denying Ohio State does it well.
